For this reading, I went back to Chronological order. That's my preferred method of reading through my Bible. I've read it that way several times now and I really like it. I liked going from Revelation to Genesis as I did earlier this year, but Chronological is my favorite Bible reading plan. (This reading: August 12 - December 10, 2022.)

Even though I have more than 20 other Bibles, I HAD to have this glittery pink Inspire Bible the moment I saw that it was available!!! It is so very beautiful!! And it's a journaling Bible, which makes it that much more awesome! Best of all, it's a BIBLE!! The only negative is that the side bars are geared toward tween girls--which I most definitely am not; I'm in my fifties. But the truth of every word in this Bible, including the side bars, over-rides any disappointment in it being geared toward much younger girls. The glittery pink cover along with the gorgeous images throughout this Inspire Bible make it a must for any girlie-girl who loves pink and/or glitter!!!

My goal for 2024 was to join a group of people in reading the whole Bible in 30 days, and I did it! It was such a wonderful way to engage with the big picture (since there are things forgotten when it's read over the course of a long period of time), and to see recurring themes of God's character, deep love, and mercy. It's made me more excited to now slow down, study, and savor throughout the rest of the year.

Bought it from Hobby Lobby in 2021 with a good intention, but discovered it was Pandora's Box! It was defiled from the beginning and promotes false teachings! Broke the second commandment!

The Inspire Bible is definitely my favorite book hands down. The pictures available to color invite me inside and the scriptures keep me captivated. Absolutely my "go to", when feeling down, or in need of advice.
