evrYwhr (Michael Jefferson), a new father and accomplished yet struggling artist, finds himself trapped in the middle of L.A.’s most contaminated neighborhood during a global pandemic. As the mutating virus, known as COVID-19, claims lives by the tens of thousands in the outside world, he wonders how long the government mandated quarantine will leave him stranded in isolation. But after coming down with a fever, evrYwhr begins to question whether he’ll live to see his son again. “Quarantined” is a collection of 222 haiku hand-written in isolation by evrYwhr. This body of work chronicles the eccentric thoughts of an artist left pondering the impermanence of life, as he learns to passionately embrace unapologetic self-expression, human connection, and faith.
