What if in order to accept the one fated for you, you had to give up everything else you ever wanted?
Canyon has spent his entire adult life wanting what any other alpha wants: a mate and family. He’s watched every one of his siblings find theirs, and just when he thinks it’s finally his turn, the Fates get things wrong.
Thomas knows not everything works out as planned. Well over a thousand years ago, his chosen rejected him because he couldn’t give him the things he wanted. A family. Since then, Thomas has spent his time believing he was simply destined to be that way. Until Canyon.
When Thomas’s attraction to Canyon is noticed and the match is taken out of his hands, will Canyon make the right choice?
Canyon’s Choice is the sixth and final book in the Timber Valley Wolf Pack Series. Because of the continuing story line, these are best read in order. Each book focuses on a different couple, but the backstory is ongoing. This book is intended for adults only as it contains a fated mate pair and knotting during howly sexy times. These alphas will do anything for their mates—just read and see. This is not an mpreg book, but mpreg couples from previous books in the series make appearances.
Omg I teared up because this is the last of this amazing series and spin off but I loved how this went. I loved seeing our last baby get his hea and how it all came together was perfection. Watching these two come into who they needed to be and together . Plus I can't wait to see what comes next from this author. loved it!
The latest book in an amazing mpreg series. Canyon is the last one of his brothers to find his mate and he is warned that he is coming. But his fated one is not the one expected. Turns out it is Thomas, one of the fates that is to be his one. But Thomas is rejected once because he couldn't give the Alpha any pups because he is not an omega, but an other. Canyon always thought finding his mate would give him a family of his own, but now he needs to make a choice. Accept Thomas as his mate or reject him and get a new mate. For Canyon it is not a difficult choice to make. He will become one of the fates as he takes Thomas as his one and will get all the powers that come with it. The only thing that bothers Canyon is the fact that he now has become an immortal, and except for Wren, one of his brothers who became inmmortal as well when he took Sterling, one of the Ancient as his mate, he will loose the rest of the family at one point. But Thomas would not be one of the fates if he didn't give Canyon a wedding gift for all times. This was an amazing series and this last book reveals a lot of mysteries from the previous books about the fates and how it works. Sorry to see the end but a reread is always possible.
This book was quite different and unique compared to the previous books in this series. Canyon didn't have a regular omega mate, but he was fated to, Thomas, one of the actual fates, however, he had a choice to mate with Thomas or not (since he wouldn't be able to have kids with him). It was fun reading how Canyon embarked on becoming one of the fates himself. Very fascinating and delightful read. A perfect end to the series.
Though I liked the book I didn't love it I was a little disappointed how it ended. I was looking forward to reading Canyon and Thomas’s story and hoping there would be a twist that Thomas some how managed to fall pregnant but that was not the case. I wish the ending was different as I thought it finished abruptly. I would love to see more spin offs would be great if the demons found their other halves. Maybe Canyon could to some unusual matching to spice things up which could include some dragons
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the kids' series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or 'Liberty' from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times a year (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time- reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
This is a stunning conclusion to the Timber Valley Wolf Pack saga. Everything will come full circle. Injustices will be corrected. Family will stand strong. There are fae, demons, ancients, warlocks, wolves and fates. The love of a mate will always win. I am so glad I decided to read this series! Canyon is the last unmated brother. His wolf scents his mate, but Canyon can't believe it... His mate is Thomas... one of the Fates! Thomas has waited thousands of years for his new chosen to appear, after his first chosen rejected him. Canyon is unexpected. But it is all Canyon's choice... become a fate with Thomas, or be given a new mate & have kids. In the end, there is no choice. Your mate is the most precious gift ever. As Thomas teaches Canyon to use his newfound powers, big changes are in the works. Now that Thomas has his chosen, balance has returned to the Fates. Wrongs can finally be corrected. HEA is assured. This series should be read in order. The story flows from one book to another. The character's lives are intertwined, and overlap. You will quickly become invested in their lives. I simply loved this book! This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
I’ve enjoyed all of the series in this world so far. From The Den, to Timber Valley and beyond. In Fact, I’m on my second or third read through . I was started down the path again with the first book of th Hidden Gem series. I wanted to refresh myself and takr my time so I would br more patient waiting for the next book in thay series. Also for the Enforcer Series ( I can’t wait!!) ! That being said. This might be my absolute favorite of them all. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the Mpreg aspect of them all. Even if it can at times be difficult to read as someone who struggled with fertility ( I only have two Angel babies). Yet I continue to read because ultimately it makes me happy. However it’s a refreshing change to have a couple in the series that are just for each other. That their love can be complete with just the two of them. I live this book, this series, and this Universe that you’ve created! Keep writing and I’ll keep reading! Your forever fan, Mrs.Dianna Falsone ( see I found my forever love who is happy with just me, and we just celebrated 15 years together!❤️)
This is the sixth book in the Timber Valley Wolf Pack Book Series .
I'm not gonna lie when I say that I was not happy about what happened to Canyon at the beginning of this book . He was told that his mate was coming and than it turned out that the mate that he had been waiting on was already mated when he got there kind of broke my heart . I felt so sad for him and although he got a another mate I felt as though this pairing was forced it wasn't natural . And the fact that he was denied children didn't make it any better no matter how the Author tried to make it seem right it really bugged me . Do I like this pairing yes after a fashion especially since the Author kept ramming down our throats . Am I happy that Thomas finally got his mate yes can I live with it yes what other choice do the reader have . But this book was my least favorite in this series . I'm glad that the other paranormal species will be getting their mates to but giving everyone immortality to me was a copout for Canyon not having a family of his own .
Canyon and Thomas are as perfect for each other as Edison and Wallace. I truly loved their story and it was a beautiful way to wrap both series up in a lovely HEA. I liked all of the books in both series but I think this has become my favorite. Seeing what Thomas had been through and how long he had been waiting for his Chosen to the choice Canyon had to make concerning pups or not was great reading. Not to mention their mating, gotta love a secure alpha that can take as good as he gives in the bedroom just like his big brother. I also loved finding out a bit more about the lady fates. I love Marian, Gwendolyn has her hands full with that one. I would recommend these series to anyone that likes quick, good stories. These books include humor, love, babies, sexy times, minimal drama and close families related or not across the den and pack.
Bjo
I've liked the books in this world, though there have definitely been some gripes along the way. But this book did everything exactly perfect. I loved that Canyon needed to choose, and accept, his fate - especially as it came with so much responsibility. And I loved the irony in the universal gift that was granted, since it was exactly what Gordon and Hank used to convince others to join with them.
I'll be story to let this world go, but this was the best possible farewell that we could get for all of these wonderful characters.
Canyon and Thomas were perfect for each other!! Canyon had been looking for his mate. He’d been promised one by the fates, but when he showed up, he was already mated to someone else. Thomas was one of the fates but had been rejected by his “ONE” in the past. One of the other fates decided that Thomas needed his “One.” I loved how she wrapped the whole arch up in this story, we got to see many of the other side characters from previous stories. This was such a bittersweet ending to the Timber Valley Wolf Pack story line. Love this story line so much, highly recommend!!
I absolutely loved this story. It was different from the other books in this series and I loved that. Thomas knew that Canyon is his the ONE but wants to make sure that Thomas is aware of what exactly it means to be mated to a fate. I loved despite Thomas's worries and concerns that Canyon still chose him and that definitely tugged at my heart. I loved everything about their story and was hooked from beginning to end. I am sad that this is the end of this amazing series but their story was the perfect way to end it for sure. Well done!!!
When the mate he was told would be his arrives at Timber Valley already mated, Canyon is just done. At nearly four hundred, he finds it difficult to muster up the energy to interact with his pack, despite acting as pack second. Walking into another meeting, he finds his mate. It's the fate, Thomas. Canyon is offered a choice. Accept Thomas and he loses his chance for pups of his own' Or deny him, and another omega will be found for him. This book is the series ender. The author wraps up a lot of threads, does a bit of world building. And sets up the next series.
Oh, lots of good things happened in this "episode" (that's what I like to call the books in this series). At first things didn't look so well for Canyon getting his supposed mate, but that didn't last long. Things went well for Richard and Jeanie. Thomas and the fates are a nice addition to get to know more of. And that ending change for all the shifters was pretty awesome. All good things.
I just loved this book. Canyon and Thomas are wonderful together. I didn't think I could like this series anymore than I did and now I do. I learned so much about the fates and how they work. I felt bad for Thomas, but glad he found his new Chosen and that Canyon supports him like he needs to and brings fun back to Thomas' life.
Sad the series is ending, but excited to see what happens next in this connected world.
This is a paranormal queer romance, the sixth book in the “Timber Valley Wolf Pack”series which comes after the “Honey Creek Den” series that should be read in order. Canyon has this dream for his life: a partner and children, but what if this is not what the Fates had in store for you?! This is one of my favorite books of the first two series! I sometimes think about this story and am now rereading for the third time.
Now I am sad that this is the end to this series but this absolutely a perfect ending. I love Thomas and Canyon's story. This is a little bit different then all the fated mates story because Canyon does get to choose whether or not he wants to be with Thomas. So I just love seeing their journey and how everything wraps up.
It’s bittersweet finishing this book. Much thanks to the author for writing such a wonderful series. I look forward to rereading this series in the future.
This book was actually a fun read. Very different from some of the more emotional books in the series. I’m glad harmony and balance has been struck. BTW, I absolutely loved the way the fates chose mates.
This was one hell of a fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, terrific, poignant, powerful, incredible, sexy, tug-at-your-heartstrings, heartfelt, excellent, unconventional, completely unexpected, delightful, and totally awesome end to a marvelous series. It had me hooked beginning to end, and I would recommend getting the entire series ASAP!
I read and voluntarily reviewed an arc of this story. This is one of those catch 22 stories; you’ve wanted to read it and waited forever but then you know it’s the end of a beautiful series. When reading please have tissues and things to throw from frustration. See, catch 22 lol. It was nice catching up with everyone else as well.
Thomas is one of the original Fates and is in charge of mating and making mate matches but has struggled being alone for so long after his intended rejected him years ago but Wolf shifter Canyon gives up the chance for pups to be with his mate forever and together they start to right some wrongs and make more mate matches
Taylor did it again! She found the best way to finish the amazing journey of both Honey Creek and Timber Valley! Absolutely loved Thomas and Canyon's story! True love conquers all!
The whole of this series covering both den and pack has been a fantastic read, but what a way to end. Loose ends are tied up and everything is explained, absolutely loved this final episode.
Wow! Aside from being a great and riveting story in itself, this one ties into the series so perfectly! Loved how the MCs were just right for each other and their dynamic was so great! This world is so much fun to dive into! Will gladly binge reread it all in a while!
That’s so sad 😭 I am wiping tears from my eyes. I’m also sorry to see it go but I hope that you will write something that maybe ties in with them. I loved all the characters.
This book was just as amazing as the rest of the series but I feel it could have been fleshed out a little more and the additional content could have led to a full Canyon/Thomas spin-off. I’m gonna miss these characters and may just have to revisit them in the future.
Thomas is a fate, he helps fated mates find each other. Canyon, a shifter, is eagerly awaiting his mate. When he gets introduced to Thomas, it just clicks. Now he’s learning what it takes to be a fate for multiple realms while navigating being a mate.
