I am still riding high with this author! This series is just so good you guys! Perfect amount of suspense mixed with the sexy; just how I like it! I loved this story because even tho it was fast paced; it didn’t read rushed. There are also hidden little twists that will keep you on your toes! I’ve said it before, if you like romantic suspense, you should be reading this author!

I absolutely love this series and can't wait for more I especially want Madeleine's (sisters) story I think that one is going to be super special. I love that the guard have there rules and regulations and will do whatever they need to on an effort to keep their wards safe but at the same time it is always love that has these men crashing to their knees and willing to walk away from something that is so huge in their lives.
This latest offering is the story of Bhodi North he is the prankster the one who always breaks the tension the computer nerd who is also a kick arse operative he was seriously injured in an earlier story and ever since he has been back he has been happy behind the computer but when he realises that if he isn't careful that is where he will always be he decides its time to take a active case His case will be the actress Sloane Sailor her latest role for which she is nominated has started a chain reaction against oil well operators and one in particular and she needs a bodyguard to protect What none knows is that she is also involved in something far more dangerous she is rescuing child brides from the men who have bought them and that is what will actually bring the greatest danger to her. Can Bhodi keep her safe when she is been attacked and two fronts and can he deny the fact of what she is making him feel Will he walk away from the guard so he can be with her You will have to read to see

This is the 3rd book in The Guard series by Em Petrova and each book has been entertaining, action packed and captivating. This is brother. Bodhi North’s story. He’s the self proclaimed “nerd” of the group because of his skills on the computer and with maps. He can find anybody anywhere. Since his injury on his last mission, he has been recovering it is ready to get back into action. When Sloane Sailor, a Hollywood actress’s life is threatened, he jumps at the opportunity to be her bodyguard and get back in the field. Little did he know she would change his life. Sloane is a famous actress , but she also has a secret. She has been freeing young 15-16 yr old girls who are being sold into marriage. She makes sure they get the help they need to live normal lives. Ever since her father sold her younger sister, she has been trying to find her. Can Bodhi protect Sloane and keep her safe , as well as find her missing sister. An entertaining storyline that is well written storyline with wonderful characters that are strong independent and intriguing. This was a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book.

In reality, though, he is extremely intelligent, a computer expert and a highly trained covert operative working for the private secret agency known as The Guard. After he endures a long recovery from injuries he received on a mission, North is anxious to get back in the field and prove that he is still effective.
A job comes into the agency, seeking protection for movie actress Sloane Sailor. She is being targeted by shady companies that are being subject to opposition by environmentalists inspired by her latest movie. North get himself assigned to her case. He quickly finds out that Sloane is much more than a beautiful woman and talented actress - she also has an incredible depth of character. She has another mission she is carrying out personally, and that has even more bad guys after her.
This book is fast-paced and easy to read, with a few very unexpected plot twists. The chemistry between North and Sloane takes them by surprise and is irresistible to them both. You can read this as a standalone, but if you read the other books in the series it’s fun to see those characters make appearances in this story. There is a well-earned happy ever after to cap off this very good read.

This is the third story in "The Guard" series and is a stand alone read. I have loved every one of them, this one included. It's action packed with suspense, danger, passion, a dash of humor, a touch of emotional drama and good twists and turns. Bodhi and Sloane have undeniable chemistry. This is a nicely developed story with very strong characters. I also enjoyed the glimpse into the first "Dark Falcons MC" story!

"His to Protect" is the 3rd book in author Email Petrova's The Guard series. While I have eagerly read every single one of Ms Petrova's books, I am finding that my favorite books of the moment lean center around her special opps themes. The Guard series is not your usual Navy SEAL, Delta Force, FBI/CIA themed troupes that are so popular right now. The Guard is a group of bodyguards that take an oath to protect and serve, stealthfully moving amongst us dedicating their lives to protect not only their wards but their sisters and brothers in The Church that they have pledged themselves to. This isn't your average church though-- unless you attend a church where it's members are masters in disguise, black belts in martial arts, computer hackers, and capable of killing without a moments hesitation.
"His to Protect" is brother Bodhi North's story. A highly intelligent self professed "nerd", North is an integral part of The Church's intelligence/hacking team. Having spent months rehabilitating from being shot in a previous mission, he jumps at the chance to protect actress Sloane Sailor from death threats she has been receiving due to a movie role she portrayed. Little did North know that Sloane would be one of the emotionally strongest women he has ever met, and that he would need to protect her from not only multiple threats, but his heart from falling for her as well. This book contains everything I absolutely adore in a book: a fast paced, creative plot with enough twists and turns to keep a reader guessing and completely engrossed; characters that are likeable, fascinating and intriguing; sizzling sexual chemistry, secondary characters that pull you in and leave you eagerly awaiting their story.... which brings us to sister Madeline. I truly cannot wait to read her story! Talk about a fascinating character that I need to know more about and see fall in love. Quite simply this series has me caught on its line- hook, line and sinker. I can't wait for the release of Book 4!!!

Bodhi North is an agent of The Guard, was injured severely in a previous operation and is slowly recovering, with his leg almost totally healed again...but he is a tech genius so Oz, the boss, would rather have him in the office at a computer than in the field...but when Bodhi sees assignment for actress Sloane Sailor, he wants it...She acted in a movie that has oil industry up in arms as several oil rig workers walked off the job because of safety issues brought to light in the movie and North watched a Sloane Sailor movie marathon while he was recovering...so Bodhi gets the job as Sloane's bodyguard...he is handsome, smart, muscles like a Greek statue and a man-bun Sloane adores...and her vibrant personality, intelligence, looks and curvy figure drive him insane...so his new mantra becomes "don't fall for my Ward"...while North falls for the lovely actress...but Sloane has a side-gig of saving young girls who are sold into underage marriages...always looking for her younger sister Scarlett who had that fate..so he and The Guard help with taking down the trafficking ring of the underage girls, who are taken to a mental health facility to get over their abuse and trauma while finding out who has a hit out on Sloane...but you will need to read this twisting and turning adventure to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bodhi North volunteered to protect Sloane, unaware that she has her own private mission focused on the trafficking of underage girls sold into marriage or worse. She is still searching for her sister who had been caught up in this horror. Bodhi’s job is especially complicated by the feelings that heat his blood as he tries to stay focused on his already difficult task! Can Bodhi keep her safe when she hides secrets that draw another source of danger to her?

A great action packed read as the Guard was once again called in to protect this time an actress, Sloane that starred in a movie that was extremely negative to ocean oil rigs. The nation was in an uproar, and workers are walking off their jobs at the oil rigs. One big company has put a hit out on Sloane. North was assigned as her guard, and after he picked her up he discovered there might be a second hit out there too. Sloane was working on her own to rescue under age girls being sold by their families to be sold for marriage to older men. North was already highly attracted to Sloane before found out about her side mission, but after they went together to rescue one of the girls he was lost to her for her bravery. The Guard was then on both jobs. North would not be finished until Sloane was safe from both these factions. There was a great deal of action through out, all characters are well developed and interact seamlessly, there were many twists and turns with lots of intrigue, and bouts of romance.

North and Sloane were a fun couple to read about.
North was an amazing character to read about. You knew he was a man who was determined to prove himself to the rest of the Guard. He didn't want to sit behind a desk for the rest of this life and he new this new assignment was make it or break it.
Sloane is a woman I very much admire but yet wondered about sometimes. I felt very bad for her being caught in the middle of the disagreement with her movie and her being held up as the example. However, her other job was much more fulfilling but oh so dangerous. I could completely understand why she was doing what she was doing but I just thought she was doing it the wrong way. It was so dangerous to do alone, she should at least have someone else watching her back.
Watching these two dance around each other was fun. Sloane had danger coming on two fronts and it was giving North a headache. Especially given that she still wanted to work her second job while being hunted from her first.

This is the third and final book in this series. I’m a little sad that this is going to be the last story in the series but am looking forward to the next series put out my Em Petrova. I’m a big fan of her books. This is Bodhi North’s and Sloane Sailor’s story. This was my favorite of the three books. I loved North. He’s the hot, laid back, nerd you can’t help but love.
North’s recovering from being shot in book two. North and Sloane have this instant heat and attraction and things start sparking between them right away. Sloane is a movie star, but she’s so laid back, down to earth and friendly. She also has a kick butt brave side too. The world is up in arms after her last movie and protests are happening everywhere. The oil companies are mad at her and one of them is trying to kill her. North has been charged with protecting her. Can he keep her safe when she has secrets that could also be causing issues for her safety?

You feel for Bohdi as you can see his accident had a real impact on so when Sloane's case comes into The Guard he wants it, not just to prove he can still be an active Guard in the field but he had watched her movies while recuperating. Sloane is not some ditzy actress and I loved her from the get go as she is fearless in what she does outside of the movies but lordy has she torn of more can she chew with her her latest movie and she needs help but it's a lot for her to be vulnerable to anyone. You get sucked into Sloane's world and feel torn about what she wants to do and the danger as well as who is actually after her then the sparks between her and Bohdi (fans face) yeah this is a great read that keeps you turning the page and on the edge of your seat not knowing if they will get caught, if Sloane will find who she is after and if she and Bohdi can see their worth and that they have a lot to offer!!!

His to Protect is a sexy intense story with two fun loving characters. Bodhi North is the male lead , he is a sexy alpha with a tech savvy brain and body to lust over. Sloane is the female lead, she is a leading actress but she isnot a damsel distressed. Sloane has been on a mission to save her sister and other teen girls from an awful fate. Sloane also has a group of oil tycoons after her, North will become her bodyguard.
The chemistry between the couple is explosive from the beginning and it just gets better with every turn of the page.
The storyline flows from beginning to end filled with humor, angst, sexy time between the sheets, suspense and some intense fight scenes.
I have enjoyed this series and I hope it continues because I would love to read about Roman, Madeline and Archer. I am prayon Petrova will do a story about Roman. His character intrigued me more in Lars's story which is book two His to Defend. Wishful thinking!! Happy Reading!!

Love the ideal of The Guard series! "His To Protect" is the third book in the series, featuring Bodhi North, a brother in this elite covert group, and Sloane Sailor, actress with a cause herself, which throws a whole new monkey wrench into the works. No weaklings here at all!
Interesting concept here, with a mob mentality to a movie Sloane starred in, people were walking off their jobs and protesting several big industry giants to make a safer workplace. Meanwhile, Sloane is on a mission of her own and of course Bodhi just falls harder for the movie star, his ward, which goes against the oath he made to be a brother of The Guard, and he's ready to chuck it all. That is, if they don't get killed first. Madeline, a sister of The Guard, plays a big part in here, and I am anxious to read her story, cause she's like a total bada**!

I love this series . Bodhi North has recovered injuries from a previous mission . He is ready to take on a mission of his own instead of sitting behind a computer . Actress Sloane Sailor is in danger after a movie she starred in has put a target on her due to controversy . North has watched a few of her movies . Then add into the mix that North is a super intelligent, a tech wiz, has skills to kill, is built, handsome and has a smirking smile and you just start swooning and keep on as you read. But Sloane is no slouch either as she is talented, intelligent, beautiful and is in all kinds of trouble.

Bodhi North has finally healed from injuries in the field and takes the assignment to protect Sloane Sailor (movie star who is threatened because of a movie role that ruffled some feathers). Sloane is also looking for her sister who was sold by her father and in the process Sloane rescues other girls with the same fate and in the same situation. Sloane has to decide if she can trust Bodhi. The sparks fly between them and they are soon in an affair neither can control. So many twists and turns with this book - it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Very hard to put down. Loved every minute of it and is a welcome addition to the series. Looking forward to the next one. Excellent read. Another big hit for Em Petrova. I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily choosing to review it.

This was my favorite book in The Guard series. It was fast paced and full of romance. Once i picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. I loved that there was more side character development and I’m sad that there aren’t any more books in this series.
North and Sloane were perfect for each other. Sloane was such a warrior and once she trusted North I knew their bond would be something special. North proved to Sloane that not all family is bad. He knew Sloane was meant to be in his life even before he took on the job of protecting her. But unlike everyone else in her life, North wanted to be with Sloane for who she was as a person, not for whatever role she was playing. Both North and Sloane were characters that hid a lot beneath the surface and they were made for an exciting and heat filled romance.

Thrilling romantic suspense!
Sloane is purposely courting trouble, but it's for a very good cause. She's able to keep her crusade off everyone's radar until she attracts trouble from another angle, which lands her squarely in the middle of The Guard's next mission.
I love how fearless she is, and how dedicated she is to righting the wrongs against her family. I was enchanted by her chemistry with Bodhi, the way these two learned to work together so beautifully in such a short period of time.
The action never lets up in this third book about what has become my favorite security company. This team embodies all that is virtuous and courageous and gives me hope that there might still be a few true heroes left in this world.
This was a non-stop read for me, and I loved every single bit of it. I'm definitely putting all three in this series on my To Read Again shelf. Bodyguard romances don't get any better than this. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

What an exhilarating read, car chases, danger, attraction, and heroism. This wasnt just another job for Bodhi, he wanted to prove his worth to his brothers, but he also knew he could be the only one to save her life and keep her safe. There is so much more to Sloane than meets the eye. An up and coming actress, taking wild strong heroine roles she is now sought as either the villain or idol for the new eco enthusiasts against offshore oil rigs. But her worse enemy is the man that she is stealing from and she wont stop till every last asset is recovered. This is such an amazing book I could not put it down, I was biting my nails one minute and sighing in bliss the next. I loved it.

I loved this romantic suspense story. The action was non-stop, the romance was steamy and the characters were fantastic. Highly recommend.

Bodhi works on The Church's intelligence/hacking team. He is a highly skilled bodyguard and special intelligence mastermind. Sloane is an actress whose last movie exposed safety issues in the oil industry. For that reason she finds herself in need of a bodyguard. Bodhi volunteers to be her bodyguard unaware of Sloane's private mission to find her sister, who she believes had been taking by those who traffic in underage girls.
I really enjoyed this book. It was well-written with great characters and interesting storyline that had plenty of action, danger, suspense, secrets, drama, intrigue, twists/turns, emotions, romance and steam.

This is the 1st book from Em Petrova that I have read and it certainly won't be the last. Ms. Petrova writes a story line that draws you in the keeps you reading to the end. She creates a world that you love and characters that are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. This is the 3rd book in the Guard series and fantastic. Bodhi and Sloane's story is one of survival and doing what must be done to ensure that and you might just find love along the way. This story has everything that you could want in a book; comedy, action, drama, adventure, intrigue as well as hot romance. You really don't want to miss it!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Em gives us another great addition to The Guard series. Bodhi and Sloane are so much more than their images let on. He has been assigned to Sloane's case after recovering from his last mission. He a computer expert who feels he needs to prove himself and she is an actress with an agenda. Sloane has some bad people after her and is up to Bodhi to keep her safe. There is a lot of suspense, drama, twists and turns in this book. The characters are all well written and draw you in. I really enjoyed their story and look forward to the next book. The Guard series just keeps getting better

Bodhi and Sloane have an instant attraction and it grows as they move around trying to keep her safe and find Sloane’s sister. This book is action packed, suspenseful and steamy hot.

Still healing from a guardian assignment, Bodhi North isn’t ready to be relegated to tech work only and jumps at the chance to guard actress Sloan Sailor.
