Kidnapping is nothing new to the enforcers of the Conti family, but never before has it been a girl I’ve wanted to get to know before, a girl all of my brothers want. Our soon to be new Boss.

Before you get all in my face about being a player, a man-whore, you should understand that I’ve never really wanted to get to know a woman like Priest before. Hell, I’ve never met a woman like her before.

Let’s just hope she and her fighting spirit make it through all the bull the Wives are going to put her though, and everything the Council of Seven is planning for her. Because if not, she’ll end up a broken doll, and I don’t think I can handle that.

Priest has been kidnapped. By the Conti family. By her father. He has decided it's time to bring his heir home. Time to introduce her to the Wives, prepare her for the Council of Seven. But what is it they say about the best-laid plans?

This series frustrates me! It has all of the pieces needed to be an excellent series. Priest is a fantastic lead. The mafia/gang elements are great. The conflict is fantastic. The execution is not successful. First, it must have better editing. When you put your name on a book baby, you must make certain it's not sloppy. This is. Second, the pacing needs work. Not enough took place on these pages. You can't call it a medium burn RH if there is NO romance at all. I'm not even sure who would be included in the harem at this point. Don't tell us about off-page actions if there have been no on-page action! Finally and most important to me is the problem named Bones. I can't support a harem member who is also in love with another woman. NO! JUST NO! So, either kill off his other love or relegate him to friend status or expect me to remove a star. This is RH, not a complete polygamous relationship, so it's a d
dealbreaker for me.

Play to your strengths if you want this series to be what you envision. Stop narrating so much and let more happen. Focus on Priest. Keep it mostly her POV with every third chapter or so, giving us a harem member's POV. Let her take charge. The scene where she faced the Council was the best scene in the book. Trust her. Firm up her harem and bring them into her universe. Let them build relationships. Have her interact more with the wives. It should be hysterical. And don't follow through with the final scene of this book in the next one unless you plan to devote the amount of attention to it that it will deserve. If you follow through, it could be soul-destroying to Priest. You can't gloss it over. I would recommend you disrupt it before it gets beyond the point of no return. Lastly, get a team behind you to edit, offer suggestions, and keep your storyline on track. Maybe, a critique partner. I could do so much with this story!

What just happened?

I was just thinking to myself about the 1st book last week, trying to remember what the name was and if the next book was out. But my past self had it on a not out yet list on Amazon, so my today self added it to my unlimited app without question.
But now I am sitting here blinking wondering what just happened. I was in this book so hard the end came at me out of nowhere. I was watching it in my head then the words stopped, and I want more so much more.
I love the MC and how these old men think they are going to control her but they have never met any woman like Priest. There were some editing errors but that isn't going to stop me from telling you to read this, well read the 1st one then read this one. They both are worth it.

Disappointing Read

I was super excited for this book to come out, I absolutely loved the first one. This book felt rushed and the amount of editing errors for something that we waited months on is sad. The ending was abrupt and came out of nowhere. There's cliffhangers and then there's confusing the reader to the point where they have no clue what is going on. Sad the second book went this way probably won't continue reading this series.

Short but amazing!

This is leading up to something good. I can feel it I cant wait for more. I need to know what happens next. And that ending? Well, I didnt see that one coming. I need more asap!

Like the first book there were quite a few errors but if you can overlook them to see the bigger picture you will love this storyline. At least I hope you will! I cannot wait to see what happens next. Just hooe I dont have to wait to long!

Awesome Book!

Not sure why this book is rated so low. You would think an AVID reader who loves books might see past some of the grammatical errors, etc. Unfortunately there's always an asshole in every bunch who's just pissed they can't write their own book. I hardly write reviews but I was aggravated on this authors behalf lol. Cant wait to read the rest of the story and once you can afford it get a better editor and you'll be right as rain.

Oh my GOD!!!

Book 2 was beyond amazing. The plot is just twist and turns and damn didn't see that cliffhanger coming but damn I need book 3 ASAP. I do wish the author would have given us a Priest POV chapter about her time with her family and her argument with George and this flirty chemistry and kiss with Alex. That would have taken this book to the next level

I waited patiently!

When I read the first book I couldn't wait for the next one. So when it came out I was really disappointed. This book felt rushed, there was several misspelled words.and the story was bouncing everywhere! do not know if its worth it to keep going with this series?

I enjoyed the continuation of the storyline and characters, but unfortunately the whole book was full of spelling and grammar errors, which was really frustrating. Too short as well. I will still read the next book as I’m enjoying the story but really hope it’s had some proofreading done first.

Too short

The first and second book have potential! There needs to be better editing in both 1&2. Wish the books were longer. Not sure what happened in the second book but it was rough and hard to finish out. I was so lost at some points

The books are to short

The overall story is great. However, each book is way too short, especially considering not all the books are completed. This last cliffhanger is a doozy, though. I can't wait to see what happens.

How do you maneuver around old fashioned chauvinistic men - one of which is your father - in a male world? Answer - you be yourself and in doing so blow up their convictions of superiority of men over women and of how this woman reacts.

Now - waiting for her next book with anticipation.

Was really looking forward to this book after the first one was so good but this one skimmed over everything, the timeline jumped a lot, and had way more viewpoints which weren't needed.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Lover boy is the second book in the ‘’Mafia princess, crew Queen’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. I have been desperate to read this book since I finished the first book ‘’lost girl’ so many months ago. In the second instalment of this series we catch up with Priest and the Conti family enforcers.
The chemistry between Priest and Bones is clear to see. I loved the friendships in this book. I love how kickass Priest is. She wasn’t a woman to be messed with!
I really liked the ending of this book, the cliffhanger!
My only complaint is that I wish this book were longer!
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an entertaining read. I cannot wait for more books from this series! I need the next one now!
