Lake Champlain Committee! Pitawbagw Committee! Hooray!
After living next to Lake Champlain for 30 years I decided it was time to read more about it. I enjoyed this book, a few too many analogies but well researched and carefully written. Reading it also reminded me of my dad who was fond of reading books about nature.
Good, well informed treatment of the history of Lake Champlain. The book was a bit more anecdotal and metaphor-filled than I expected but it was still well written.
