Enchanted Magic

Rate this book
A beautiful woman...

Mackenzie Thorne appears to have it all: beauty, fame, fortune, and a magical family that always has her back. As one of the powerful Thornes, she's revered in the witch community. So what's missing? Love. For that one thing eluding her, she would gladly trade all she has.

A lonely man...

Loneliness has plagued Sebastian Drake for decades, but everything changes when the incomparable Mackenzie enters into his orbit. No one is more surprised or thrilled than he is when she agrees to spend the weekend with his family at their country estate.

An evil possession...

Romance is in the air at the Drake estate, but so is the spirit of a dangerous enchantress. Awakened after nearly two hundred years in a cement prison, Isolde de Thorne has decided Mackenzie is the perfect vessel for her needs.

T.M. Cromer is a multi-award-winning sorceress of the written word and fearless architect of high-stakes paranormal romance. With a flair for twisty plots, slow burns, and swaggering heroes hot enough to scorch the page, she conjures stories that hook readers and refuse to let go. From her cozy PNW lair, flanked by two Hellhounds and an unholy amount of caffeine ambition, she weaves love, danger, and humor into every page. Whether it’s witches, sirens, or magical assassins, her characters never behave, and neither do her stories.

When she’s not dreaming up new ways to ruin her characters’ lives before crafting their HEA, she’s daydreaming about swimming with orcas or cackling over a particularly clever line of dialogue. Come for the magic, stay for the heartbreak, and maybe fall a little too hard for a man who only exists on the page.

T.M.’s stories are 100% certified organic, author-created content. No artificial intelligence was used in the writing of her books.

Enchanted Magic is a spectacular paranormal romance by T.M. Cromer. Ms. Cromer has provided readers with a well-written book populated with a stellar cast of characters. Mackenzie is a Thorne witch, when she's invited to Scotland to visit with Arabella and her brother Sebastian she didn't know what she'd be getting into. Sebastian and Mackenzie's story is packed with drama, humor, spice, action and suspense. You'll also enjoy Sebastian's young neighbor Sabrina and the socks. I enjoyed every page of this book and look forward to my next book by T.M. Cromer. Enchanted Magic is book 10 of the Thorne Witch Series but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading them in order so you don't miss out on any of the fun though.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Decent

Sadder than the other books. A lot more intrigue. Worth the read, love the continuation of the Aether story. Overall decent book. But not as desperate to finish as the others.

Mack just like the rest of the Thornes can only love once. Her heart calls to Sabastian, but she is also nervous about his reputation. And the fact that he used to have a thing for her cousin Gigi. Baz has been enamored by Mack since the first time he saw her.

Mack ends up accepting an invite from Baz's sister to visit their home one weekend. Neither of them have thought about the prophecy and that this may be a bad idea. But as soon as Mack steps foot on their property it puts things in motion.

The Enchantress is an Aether witch as well, but she has a darkness in her. One that calls to the power of other witches. She tries to control it, but she can't. She ends up stealing the power of a lot of witches and kills a lot of them. Eventually with the help of the Goddess, Isis, the six founding families try to stop her. They end up not being able to kill her. So instead they put her in stasis and entomb her. Her tomb is in the Drake garden, so his family has been entrusted with keeping an eye on it. Damian also lives next door so he can keep an eye on his mother's tomb as well.

The prophecy in the Drake grimoire says that a psychic Thorne will be the catalyst of evil. Mack happens to be a psychic Thorne, and now The Enchantress will use her to get out of her tomb.

The whole family is nervous of what is going to happen once Isolde (The Enchantress) possesses Mack. She has begged them to kill her if they have to, but obviously none of them want to do this, especially Baz. However, it does eventually come to that and Damian is forced to do it.

Mack wakes up in the other world (well technically the in between). She isn't there alone though. Sabrina, Nathanial, and Isolde are there as well. Isolde lets Sabrina know how to kill her for good. Like I said Isolde is not a bad witch she just had a darkness in her that she couldn't control. Now she is finally free of it. Mack and Sabrina get to go back to their family, but Nathanial's job is done now. Mack is devastated about this, but he assures her that Evie will soon join him and he'll be able to be with his children now.

When Mack and Sabrina return, Mack wakes up with her mind in childish state. Baz and the family assume there's nothing they can do about this and that Mack will always be like a child now. Baz is devastated because even though his wife lives, she is not his wife anymore. Thankfully Damian figures out that something isn't adding up. Apparently Sabrina done this to Mack's mind wanting to always have a playmate. They are able to reverse it and Mack comes back as herself.

The book ends with Mack letting Sabrina know she'll have a new playmate before too long because her and Baz are expecting. Sabrina lets Damian know this and then lets slip that she'll also have a little brother one day. Apparently Isis has informed her that she shouldn't tell everyone everything about their futures, but her being so young she gets excited about some things.

Then we flip to Isis and Preston. Preston is the father of Autumn, Winter, and Spring. He is Alastair and Gigi's brother. And is deeply missed by his family. He was killed in a previous book and is now the consort to Isis. She informs him however, that he'll be getting his life back soon.

AHHHHH!!! I can not wait for the next book! Preston is coming back!!!! I'm also super excited to see how all the family is doing. It's been so long since they were all in a book together. I'm so going to miss this family. I really hope, even though the next book will be the last of this series, that we'll see more of this family in future series.

Mack and Baz

Mackenzie Thorne is a physic Witch that loves Sebastian. This book has some laughs and tears through their journey. However, I felt the big stand off with the mighty powerful Enchantress fell flat. Nothing really happened I expected a battle.

Sabrina and Damian are always pleasant to read about. Oh loved the socks. I hope Preston book don't fall flat.

I loved Mackenzie and Sebastian's story. They make a wonderful couple. Even in the middle of a crisis their banter is great. The book is an emotional roller coaster ride. The story is at times heart wrenching but also has moments of pure fun. The Drake family is hysterical. Butler Leopold's socks are a riot. The Aether Damian and his daughter Sabrina play a big role in the book. I hope we eventually get to read Damian's story. The ending of the book sets up the next book perfectly. I am glad it's on my Kindle ready to go. I highly recommend this book and series.

This is a great story! So many twists, turns and revelations! We are still meeting new characters that are all joining together to beat this new evil. It is going to take a huge sacrifice and some hard truths. We do get an update on Preston that I’m curious to see how it plays out in the next book!

I have enjoyed this series. I like that you still get to hear about the main characters from previous books. Sebastian appeared in a previous book. I was excited for his and Mackenzie's story.

There were some fun parts of this story. I know this won't make sense until you read the book, but I loved the socks!

I listened to the audiobook. I enjoyed the narrator. I'm looking forward to the next book.

I cant get enough of this series of books. The Thorne Witches just take me into their world and now with the addition of Damian as the Aether and his daughter Sabrina with untold powers the series has become even more enthralling. Enchanted Magic book 10 in the series doesn't disappoint in fact it held me spellbound and I just couldn't put it down as with the previous books, the characters are fabulous and I loved that Mackenzie finally got together with Bazz. I can't with for the next book in the series and can highly recommend these books to anyone who loves a great fantasy read with every element and I just love the magic. So well written all thanks to T.M. Cromer.

Enchantress awakened...

Another enchanting Thorne Witches story from the amazing TM Cromer! Each story brings in characters from the previous family to the next generation. Mackenzie Thorne is a powerful psychic witch and a world renowned model. She's had a crush on Sebastian Drake since first sight. When his sister invites her to the England for a visit, it sets off a series of events, both tender and terrorizing. Can't wait for the next chapter in this marvelous family's world!

MS. Comer has added yet another delightful installment in the Thorne witches saga. Sebastian is sexy and fun and Mackenzie is sympathetic and likeable. It was fun to yet again watch the Thorne family come together to defeat a nasty foe.

Another success in falling in love with the Thorne family. I do hate that Sebastian was going to bind her and send her away. I appreciate that he was never going to be with another though.

Sebastian Drake seems to be a flirter, however, his demeanor changes when he is acround Mackenzie Thorne. Mackenzie is one of the powerful Thorne witches, but with Isolde de Thorne. An enchantress who has newly awakened, and who has her eyes on Drake seems to think other wise. Now, with the obstacle of a powerful witch, will their love conquer all or will Drake succumb to the enchantress?

T.M. Cromer is has out done herself with this Thorne witches love journey. She pulls you in with the whimsical attraction between Drake and Mackenzie. As a reader, you can see the fun side of Drake, but also the seriousness side when Mackenzie seems to need him the most. T.M. Cromer pulls at your heart strings in this tearjerker of a Thorne Witch adventure between two unlikely people who thought their chance at love was gone forever. A must read for all witch readers of the genre!

I wanted to love this book, it had the opportunity to be excellent. This is a continuation of the Enchantress threat from the last book and features Sebastian Drake and MacKenzie Thorne. It started off brilliantly. The to and fro between the characters and then the underlying threat, the possession, but then just when it should have ramped up, it fell down. The last 10 or so chapters felt rushed and to be honest, I had more questions than answers at the end, I mean what happened to Isis and Set's plan? Where did the big bad go? What was in the grimoire? And so many more. I feel like I missed a couple of chapters. Shame really, it could have been epic. As usual, it was the side characters that made the book, Beastie especially

This series is magical. This installment is just as captivating as the previous ones.

Baz has been attracted to Mack from the first time that he saw her. He has a bit of a reputation with the ladies and she plays hard to get. His sister invites her to spend some time with them at their home. She accepts and in doing so, sets off a prophecy which could bring her demise. Can they eliminate the threat that can destroy their happiness?

I love Leopold and Teddie. They always bring a smile with them. Oh! The socks. Priceless. As always, there is love and laughter. There is danger, and the beauty of the family coming together to join the fight. Loving this series so far.
