Sly, the President of the Soulless Bastards. His club has blood on their hands, and the latest information has Sly questioning himself as a person. He knows what went down was a mistake, but could he have altered the course and saved someone who was like a brother to him? Living with his past guilt as well as this new information leaves him in a bit of a mess, until he meets a woman who immediately piqued his attention. Fabiola Watson was determined to find out who was responsible for her brother’s death. And when all the cards point to the Soulless Bastards, she makes it her mission to infiltrate the club and by doing so, catches the eye of none other than the President, Sly. Unfortunately for her, she never bargained on falling for the man and that just adds more complication to what she set out to do. Was she playing with fire? And if caught will Sly be willing to add more blood to his already blood-soaked hands? Overall I liked the story however I did feel that certain elements were missing. Fabiola cried at every turn which was a bit annoying for me. One moment she was portrayed as a very strong woman, and the next she was always in tears. Sly had hang-ups, and I thought the writer did well on showing the reader his guilt. I would have liked to have felt a more emotional connection between our two main characters, I personally felt this was lacking. However, overall a good story with a nice plotline that was tidied up nicely.
