ALL SINNER NO SAINT

ALL SINNER

I’m aptly named.
I’m Lucifer in the flesh: Lucie to those who love me, B*tch to those who loathe me.
I have plenty of enemies, most of them in the clubhouse where I was raised.
But I’m tired of being an outsider, tired of being on the outside looking in.
I want to go home.
And home?
Isn’t a place.
It’s with four men. Four bikers who own my heart and soul, and have done since I was a kid.
Even if they betrayed me.
But I’ll forgive them.
I will.
But only after I make them pay for their mistakes…

NO SAINT

My family has enemies. Enemies that made us pay through my suffering.
All these years later, after being kidnapped, I can only sleep in the arms of a biker my daddies would kill if they knew how he shielded me.
And he isn’t the only one.
Saint? Keys? Ink?
They’re more than just bikers, more than just brothers.
They’re my sanity.
I love them.
And they love me.
Now it’s time for them to realize we’re made to be…

The Hell’s Rebel Collection consists of titles that were originally published as THEIR SINNER and THEIR SAINT. You can now enjoy both mother and daughter’s books in the one collection.

Okay, so the first part of All Sinner No Saint was pretty good. In it, you meet Lucifer - aka Lucie. She is a wildfire and she knows what she wants. So the day that she shows up at the clubhouse where she grew up, everyone's life gets turned upside down. Especially the guys that fell in love with her years ago.

The sparks and chemistry were amazing. I even liked how she didn't hide her own kid from them or the truth from Ama either. She knew who her dads were and was a little spitball of fire herself. It also had it's fair share of drama because people were a bit butt hurt.

Then I got confused because things were happening way too fast or chunks of (I don't know) important information were just gone. They ghosted the book and that's why I was so confused for a hot minute.

I'm going to be honest.. my confusion didn't stop there because the second part is now about Ama - Lucie's daughter. She is starting to fall in love with her own little harem. Not exactly sure what happened in between these two parts because she's still nice.. but sort of lost her fire a bit? Plus she just annoyed me sometimes and I wanted more from the first part.

In the end, the drama and romance that revolved around Ama were okay but I definitely like Lucie a lot more.

Well, that reminded me, why hate MC Books. No matter that the author „tries“ to present a Kick-Ass heroine - that just doesn‘t work in a world full of misogyny, weakass pathetic little men and Woman bashing. Not my Cuppa.
And although I was disappointed by that, I also kinda exptected it.

But the Rest was just plain boring, nothing really happened, the characters though promising at first, fell absolutely flat and had zero personality. There was a lot of TELL but no showing us, so every over the top comment that was made about them had no weight.

This MC duet has two amazing strong female character's, Lucie( Lucifer) and Ama (Amaryllis).
The first book is about Lucie and how she comes back to her rightful home after her father kicked her out. The surprise to her men was that she showed up with Amaryllis in tow.
Lucie can protect herself, thanks to her men, Ryan (Kid), Wolfe, Axe, Flame and Dagger. But she came home because she needed them and she wanted to claim her rightful place in the MC. I loved how protective they all were of her and Ama and she of them. Lucie had no problem kicking a sweetbutts, a**, or even a prospect who disrespected her. She brought a lot to Hells Rebels that they never expected.
The second part of the book flowed nicely from the first. It was Ama's story, she knew what she wanted a long time ago. I loved how it weaved in and out with her families, with some MC drama. Her men kept her safe through it all. Ink, who was much older than her, Keys and Saint are a perfect mix to keep her grounded in her times of need.
The funny part was watching each man realize their feelings for Ama and it was like BOOM!
what was awesome to see was the tie in to the Five Points gang.
Theoughout each book Serena Akeroyd was able to draw feelings out of you for character's that you didn't expect. It could be tears, laughter or anger, they were all present. She has a talent to bring out the best and worst in each character, which makes you want to read her books.

As a whole I really didn’t love this book. In its defense MC romances are not my thing and I think because it was RH I wanted to give it a shot. Even with minor OW drama, the ‘sweet butts’ (club ho’s) are mentioned throughout both books and are often sexing up a club member everywhere. Unfortunately like mother like daughter and we have two (supposedly) strong women who have to claim their men and fight to keep them and keep them from straying. Of course over the years or while growing up both Lucie and her daughter Ama had to see their men and often hear them with other women. Fine it’s the life I get it. What pisses me off is how and why they have to be the ones to fight while their men had no problem living life without either of them. In Lucie’s case her men turn their backs on her when she’s shunned by the club and so she leaves for six years with one of their brothers and doesn’t return until his death. To me that’s a huge deal and Lucie over the years apparently stopped letting their betrayal bother her so much and basically forgives them right away and does her own claiming of them. At least make them work for it woman 🤦🏽‍♀️ Lucie has grown up in the club and so in many ways I did like her story because she was a total take no shit character. She’s brazen, outspoken and fiercely loyal. Her acceptance and understanding of the club is ingrained in her from birth. The end of the book baffles me the most I’ll be honest. There’s a big showdown in the climax and while things get a little tense the action is rather minimal. Until some sort of time jump happens and the most (I’d think) important part of the book is summed up in few paragraphs. Given it deals with Ama being kidnapped and how big a role that continues to play into her adult life baffles me, how can this be thrown out there so blandly. More emphasis was given to Lucie being taken by a rival cartel who we later learn is her father anyways and one of her men being knocked unconscious as a result of this..... what?!?!?! As for the MC I found it a bit shocking and hard to belive they are an active MC with 300+ local members and often hold “church” for the lot of em. 😳😱😱 Is this normal?
In the second book (Ama’s story) l’m going to be honest... absolutely nothing happens. The club gets raided one time, they mention a way to blackmail the agent in charge, move on and it’s never spoken of again. Aside from their relationship theirs essentially not much story here. No villain or explosive climax. Ama has PTSD from being taken and held hostage some years ago. She continues to have nightmares, fears to leave home, often sleeps under her bed and many a night crawls into the bed of Ink, the man who rescued her that night-also a man 18 years her senior. I only mention his age because as one of her men Ama’s other two are younger and within the Club to me that just seems weird. Key’s the youngest is still only at Prospect level, she’s a generational girl 😂 Ama is nothing like her mother, even being raised around the club growing up as her mother did. Seeing as she had caring parents she was of course sheltered more than her Lucie and doesn’t have as much of an edge/life experience as her mother. Aside from their relationship all I got out of the book was how shitty living in, among and around the club life would be especially if you were wifed in or had kids. And can someone send a case of disinfectant to this place stat 🤢
I didn’t mind book one but for some reason the misogyny just seemed more heavy to me in book two. Ama came off a lot more fragile than her mother and because of that it would have been nice for a man to finally take charge with one of these women. Both have to go after their men and the constant reminder on how they had to defend their territory in such a cruel and sexual world just pissed me off.Early in book two one of Ama’s men is even f*king a sweet butt and imaging it’s Ama..... my problem, why the F can’t he just claim Ama if that’s who he wants 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ These are supposed to be strong biker badasses and the men in book two not only see no actual action to how off their kick ass scary prowess, they can’t even go after the woman they want, she has to do that for them too smh 😂 Throw in the lack of storyline in book two and I was glad when it ended.

DNF... reverse harem not my thing
===========================
They’d left me. All of them.

Sloan ‘Bomber’ Steeler had tossed out his daughter when she was pregnant with my baby.

Take Wolfe and Kim. Bleugh. I’d always hated that slut. Why the fuck he’d married a clubwhore I’d never know, but marry her he had, and divorced her in the same year too.

Another heavy breath escaped her. “Ryan was better than all of you. He trusted me when none of you did.”

Wolfe clenched his jaw. “I’m a man. Anything with tits and ass gets me this hard.”

I had issues with Bomber when he was on his death bed telling them to burn the house down. Was Maria in it or was something else he didn't want exposed? Also I understood when Ramon and Gutter had to get rid of and Jodi-May left with Aaron and poisoned his mind against the council, but you went from one of Lucie's men looking for Jodi-May to Ama being already kidnapped by Aaron and rescued by Ink, Saint and Keys. There's so much missing between what happened. Further in the book it was finally explained that Lucie had a miscarriage , after having two sons by Flame. What about Key's sister? She just showed up at both clubs and was working with the police, she was never mentioned beforehand. Also, the grandfather, Lucifer could have told Luce about his men where keeping tabs on her since he knew where she staying. Even while he was in jail she should have known. I wished Ama and Luce would have spent more time with him. It was a long book and could have been done with no more than 300 or so pages.

I love the ball busting female lead, If you like books that have the whole MC lifestyle, bratva, mob, etc... thing going on you will probably love it. I really enjoyed both stories first the mom and her badass men and then her daughter and her saviors. Can’t wait for more from Serena!

The couple: Wolfe/Flame/Dagger/Axe and Lucie
The couple: Ink/Saint/Keys and Amaryllis

Romance trope: rh; next gen; MC

Length: 570 pages

Plot: Lucie was ousted from the MC clubhouse by her father, set up to take the fall for some missing drugs. She left the group of men that she was in love with; they thought she was a traitor. Pregnant and outcast, only her lover Ryan went with her as they stayed on the run for 6 years. But Ryan is dead and now Lucie is back to claim her four other lovers along with the MC she was forced out of.

Her daughter Lucie finds herself also in love with a group of men once she is of age, but after a traumatic kidnapping, she needs them to find stability. They'll do that and more once they figure out how to come together.

Commentary: Both Lucie and Amaryllis are too blase about the clubwhores for my good. And so are the guys for that matter. A couple of the guys make note that they won't be with anyone else after a certain point, but they are all so fatalistic: "oh well, we are just MC brothers, that's just how we are." I'm not saying they were cheating, because they weren't (since it was before things were official), but it was in a sort of gray period and it grossed me out. There was so much sex with the "sweetbutts" and it was seen a normal, even obligatory and deserved (they're just somehow better in their attitudes about sex than us, roll eyes). It was icky. And I know that's weird since I knew this was a romance novel, an MC one at that, and I should have known, but it wasn't so much all the sex with other people as it was the attitude. I guess I'm supposed to understand the grittiness and outlaw nature of the club.

I felt kind of bad for Key and Ink and Saint - all of them indicated that they didn't really want to be in a rh, but they'd do it for Ama. They found a way to make it work but it wasn't enthusiastic consent.

Honestly, I've loved everything I've read from this author - except this. I found the stories repetitive and boring. But if you liked the badas$$ heroine Lucie, read Nyx - same heroine, different name. Also MC but not rh.

Grammar/formatting: minor point - "jab" is definitely British English - Americans use "shot" - and since this takes place in Texas, that was a little jarring (since it was said more than once). Small detail but it stood out to me. "Away with the fairies" was another Britishism that most Americans just don't use. "Better a hooligan than a wet flannel." And "vest" when I think she means tank top. I know a lot people excuse that sort of mixup, and if the setting in the book were really vague, I would too, but since they specifically mention Texas several times (as well as southeast Texas and Corpus Christi), it matters. A rough and tumble MC in Texas is not going to say someone is "away with the fairies" or a "wet flannel."

This book is amazing, it keeps you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning. The first part of the book is about Lucie and the second half is about her daughter, Ama. Lucie is a force to be reckoned with, she wants to be treated as an equal to all the brothers at the MC. She’s fiercely protective of her daughter and the men she loves. She’s loyal, feisty, and I absolutely loved everything about her.
Ama is not as feisty as her mother but just as loyal and loves with her whole heart. She loves her biological family, those she’s adopted into her family, and the men she’s forming a life with. Ama had a tragedy occur when she was younger and it has continued to affect her life into adulthood. The men she loves help bring her strength so she can hopefully overcome what has happened and move on.
The women in this book are strong, fierce, and loyal. I loved reading about them and hope to see more of them in the future books in this series.

I really enjoyed these MC novels seperately, so now that they are together, I can binge read till my heart is content.
These books had everything I like about motorcycle romances all bundle into a rough and sexy bundle.

The characters were well thought out. I would have liked a bit more background or a few more POVs of the guys in Their Sinner but what we were given was delicious. The FMC is a mature bada$$ who knows what she wants and won't take no for an answer.

The storyline was okay. This book really just follows the relationship of the main characters and a few twists happen here and there.

The steamy scenes are seriously hot and one of my favourite moves was actually in this book, which was just drool worthy. Everyone's kink is different but there was one scenario where I was turned off in a really hot scene, I've never read, heard or seen that before and to me it was gross but I understand it was done as a sort of claiming - it was just cringy for me.

I loved that we got to see down the track for the characters as well, considering these characters story is finished in this book. I would have loved it to be longer, or the ending to have been expanded on as it's kind of left to your imagination, which can be a good or bad thing. I just need more!

I thoroughly enjoyed the story about Ama.
I actually think I enjoyed Their Saint more than Their Sinner and I believe that is because this book actually felt like it was finished. The story was really good. I love how there was no wishy washing-ness with the characters relationships, Ama knew what she wanted, her guys weren't afraid to express their feelings and Ama dad's and her mumma were fully excepting of their relationship. I liked that their relationship is not drama filled.
Ama's growth is this book is really well written as well. It's subtle but also inspiring.

I really enjoyed the connection that Ama and her guys have. Ink is my man - seriously, the way he was described is everything I want lol. I also liked the playfulness of Saint and Keys as well.

I would have liked to see more of Lucie and her guys story, because a few things in this book for me, would have been better enjoyed, if I had read about them in the previous book - I just really feel that Lucie and her guys story isn't finished.

But I do recommend this book!

I enjoyed this duet and Serena can write a R/H book (Quintessentially Theirs Series is a brilliant R/H read). On the whole it was an exciting sexy read, what let it down slightly was it jumped around a bit. Having said that I found myself glued to it. After a quick visit back to the Feckers I remembered the incident with Ink and who he is, so it all clicked together nicely. If you haven't read the 5 points series yet give yourself a treat and try it.

What an amazing experience

Some MC books I find a little lacking, or over done. This one though, was spot on. I love a strong woman that holds her own and takes no prisoners.

The story line for both worked so well. Every character has his/her purpose. Then to finish like that in the extra! I want more!

I absolutely freaking loved this duet! I loved everything about it.
When I first started reading, I thought, "I'm not going to like Lucie." How wrong was I? I loved her!
She is the perfect female heroine. Feisty and strong but also has her moments where she can be soft and fragile. Her devotion to Ama was perfect but I also loved how she never took any of her men's crap.
Ink, Saint and Keys were also my favourites but my favourite character of the duet has to be Flame!
I can't wait to see if these characters turn up in the Sinners and Filthy books.

Good

This is a duet collection with a little bonus scene at the end. The first book is about Lucie and the second is about Ama, Lucie’s daughter.
These books were filled with heartbreak, relationship building, strong FMCs, and the home base is a MC.
I liked the emotional developments that the characters went through and the little extra from Ryan -he’s pretty freaking awesome.

I'm a big fan of Serena Akeroyd's books and this was no exception! This was previously published as a duet and is now combined as one collection and I really liked the new format. I really enjoyed getting to read about the Hell's Rebels MC world and getting to read about first Lucie and then Ama. Good MC book, I definitely recommend.

Two of my favourite genres in one! This is a RH MC story. The duet of Their Sinner and Their Saint make up this one book.
In the first part, Lucie returns to the Hell’s Rebels MC, after having been exiled, on a mission! She is a badass and knows what she wants and that includes claiming her men Wolfe, Ace, Flame and Dagger.
The second part follows the story of Lucie’s daughter Ama and her men Saint, Keys and Ink.
There are twists and turns, strong FMC’s, lots of alpha males and steamy scenes throughout. This book has it all.

Serena has no limits of what she can do when it comes to writing. She is wonderful and knows how to build characters and storylines.

Lucie is one bad MC princess. She takes what's hers. Knows what's best and is a force to reckon with. And Ama and her men are just as great. I love this story!

This is one of my all-time favorite RH MC books! Luce and Ama are the baddest FMC and their guys are just drool-worthy. Both stories are so well developed and suck you right in! At the end, you are so invested on this characters you just can’t believe it comes to an end! Serious book hangover, but you can find some appearances of these characters in Serena’s other books!
