Yakin is a part of Juilliard
not really a part of method acting, but it is more about looking deeply into scripts
and looking at motivations

so you'll have actors, who will make notes into their scripts about motivations and emotions

And well Stella Adler did the intro to the book, so you know it's used as a part of the kit for Method Acting and other serious types
