I decided to set up a portfolio to track my professional development activities and wanted to include my resume and other projects. This book has a great step-by-step process for developing a resume as well as good tips for writing the resume and cover letter and interviewing for jobs.

This book is dedicated to applying for library jobs, and includes many sample resumes (some with "before and after" editing). It is also has a great section on interviewing. Looking at a job guide dedicated solely to librarianship has been incredibly helpful.

Reads like my least favorite kind of textbook. The action verbs appendix and personal inventory inventory prompts may be useful though.
