Dragon? ✔checked (book 1)
Vampire?✔ checked (book 2)

Storm God ? The sea God? check check check ✔

Another good addition to this thrilling series. The storm god and the siren.
Controlling, possessive, demanding, broken, growling alpha god? that's Calder.
Temptress, suave, resourceful and witty ? that's Mira.

Two broken souls find solace in eachother. Mira is the slave of an awful monster, Cal lives his life in solitary and anger because of the past mistakes. His freaking tantrums are not something to mess with 🤣 just ask Mira lol.

Although this is again instalove , fated mates, Cal puts up a battle to resist his Temptress. The steam is again hot hot hot, KA Knight has a talent with that.

Again, something is missing, tho the plot is starting to come together , and we can understand more about the roles of each couple in this one.

I love the last chapter in each book when the brothers ( dragon, vamp and storm) reunite.

It's funny how this series is basically a 3 stars read for me, in other case I would have stopped at book 1 , but its kinda addicting, I cannot stop reading.
Oh, and I realllly don't like the cover for this one, the guy looks like a malnourished hippy on crack.

'Pretty Stormy' is the third book of 'The Fallen Gods' series by k.a. knight. I am still shocked about how quickly this author managed to suck me in , into her World of Gods and Sirens!

I was one of those blessed people who got an arc for all the three books of this series , and what an amazing ride it was!! I absolutely loved the books and am in love with these oh-so-hot Gods and Their seductive and innocent sirens!

This book is the story of The God sea and his secretive siren! I am not a huge fan of fantasy reads and totally avoid them , that was until I saw who the author. I am a die hard fan of Katie's books ever since I read The den Of Vipers. I was all over this sign up in seconds! And she sure did not fail to entrance me into this one!

I absolutely loved Clader and Mira's story. There is this special , addictive kinkyness in Katie's book that I love so much and look forward to , while reading her books! Calder is one of her best characters. He too has suffered , just like Mira , but he is the angry sufferer type. He has a lot of pent up anger and issues too. I loved his vulnerable moments and looked forward to seeing him confess his feeling to her.

Both of these characters of Katie's now own a special place in my heart and this series has quickly climbed up to my top fantasy reads!! A definite recommendation to all the dark fantasy lovers out there , who would love to have a book with an amazing suspenseful element and a delicious kink that will keep you hooked right from the start to the very end of this book!

”I was supposed to survive betrayal, to suffer and find love, only for it to be snatched away from. To save him. My storm God."

These books keep getting better and better. Just when I think I loved the last couple, I read the next book and fall even harder!

I love reading about Siren’s so I couldn’t wait to dive into Mira and Calder’s story. Katie really dug deep and pulled at our feelings in this book and I loved every minute of it. I think I loved Mira so much because the way she struggled and dealt with her emotions reminded me so much of myself. The growth of these characters was amazing to read!

Calder was a asshole at first but who doesn’t love a good asshole? (In these type of books of course) Haha. I couldn’t wait for him to tear downs those layers and open himself up a bit, to show his somewhat vulnerable side!

This book seemed shorter to me than the last two I read, and I was instantly craving more! K.A. Knight has officially made me obsessed!

Another fantastic K.A Knight read!

So, if The Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean and Beauty and the Beast got together for a steamy threesome...Pretty Stormy would be the result 9 months later. 😁

This book is about loss and despair - and hope and love. The imagery K.A. Knight weaves is almost magical. I had all the feels reading this - and as with all her books, expect a fair amount of steamy scenes! 🥵

Very much enjoyed this book and looking forward to reading others in the series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🖤

" I die in the middle of his storm with a smile on my face."

Fav so far in this series. It didn't become overly mushy when they finally admitted to their love. And Calder was just freaking hot. He was actually dark inside and even Mira couldn't fix that. Instead she embraced it and thrived upon it. And let's not forget about the insanely hot sex 🥵🥵

" Pain is meant to be shared, not bottled up. It corrupts us from the inside, wanting to be free, to be let out."

Oh My Goodness! The Fallen Gods Series just keeps getting better and better for me! Mira & Calder were absolute 🔥🔥🔥 and my PNR loving heart is so very happy right now! It's like K.A. Knight reached inside my brain took some of my absolute favorite fairy tales and made a dark and twisted book baby out of it! SO GOOD! M & C know pain, they know loss & they know sacrifice && they certainly didn't expect to find one another... an undeniable connection between two broken souls. Pretty Stormy was full of action, suspense, a whole lot of steam WOWZA! & all the twists and turns that I love about this series... I'm OBSESSED! & I cannot wait to read what's next from The Fallen Gods 🖤

What a ride!
.
Another amazing book by Katie. Honestly I m loving the slow unravel of this plot. It just gets better and better. Calder and Miras journey is definitely an emotional and tense one. There’s so much to these characters I’ve loved seeing all sides of them as they come to light.
.
There’s more happening with this story and I’m loving that. I like how with each book the tension, suspense, anticipation and thrill goes up to a new level. There was definitely more of the paranormal aspect with this book than the first two. I love that. I love a great paranormal read and this book didn’t disappoint with the feels.
.
There’s still so much to explore with this world and with each one I get more and more intrigued and fascinated. I loved every second of the journey these characters went on. I love their relationship and how they worked to get to where they did. I love Calder. But Mishal will always be my number 1.
.
I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Pretty Wild the next instalment. No doubt it will be a wild ride.

Another dark read by this author that just leaves me needing more. The Fallen Gods series has been such an interesting mix of characters and darkness. Some is lighter than others, but all so good.

In Pretty Stormy we have Mira and Calder. Which is you have read the first two you know he is the next brother to read about, who as they all seem to be is broken and been in the darkness for too long. But there is one thing that saves him, his siren. They call to each other, pain calls to pain and loneliness calls to loneliness. Can these two save each other?

I love stories that are dark and about family, and KA does this wonderfully. I cannot wait to see who gets theirs next.

“Not everyone wants a hero, some girls want a villain.”

What another AMAZING instalment to this series by Katie Knight! It was so beautifully written yet raw at times, these characters had me so twisted but I loved every second of it!

In this book we meet Calder and Mira, and what a match they make! The sexual tension in this book is unreal, the majority of this book focused on their relationship and how it changed over time! They had both experienced pain before and were untrusting, nether of them wanting to bare their hearts to the other. Yet when they began to shed their fears they soon became kindred spirts!

I felt a magnitude of emotions for this magical book Katie has written. The world Katie had created was amazing! If you like The Little Mermaid retellings with a lonely, grumpy sexy God this is the book for you!

I’m so excited for the rest of this series and how the story begins to unfold even more! I honestly can’t get enough of these sexy fallen Gods.🤩

‘“I did not have a tantrum,” I snarl. “Children have tantrums, I am an ancient god.”
“Who just had an ancient god tantrum.” She laughs.’

This book follows Calder a sea god and Mira a siren. Both of these characters are broken - broken hearted, broken spirit and broken mind . . . until they meet eachother and everything changes.

I will be honest - the 1st half of the book I was kinda mad at Calder for being SO domineering BUT when I pushed threw to when they finally get past their brokenness to something real I couldn't get enough.

The growth these two characters show in a short amount of pages and words astounds me. By the end of the book I was happy with the story and cant wait for the next books.

This book will be your dark and domineering pleasure.

The god of the sea and a secretive siren? A supernatural love story with prose that reads like the classics but with a kinkiness that is trademark KA Knight? Oh, sounds fun!

Our siren Mira is trapped in a hellish prison- locked into a painful servitude that has left her cold and empty. Until the lightning strike of fate awakens her through a chance encounter with an ancient supernatural whose beauty and power is rivaled only by his cruelness. She’s now trapped between two cruel masters- one that wants the other’s power and one who wants to keep her.

This one is a smidge longer than the other books, and it took me a minute to dig in. We have such beautiful prose, but getting inside our characters minds took a minute, and I needed that connection to really buy in. Our siren Mira eventually called to me (see what I did there?!). She’s stoic and selfless despite her suffering, and I respected her resistance to Calder’s surly “sir” antics. Calder, too, has suffered- but unlike Mira who is resigned and demurely despondent about her fate, Calder has a lot of anger. He truly is a storm-you can’t truly admire its beauty at first because you’re so taken aback by the brash thunder and threatening lightning. He’s an angry storm that has to lash out- but once he finds a true connection with Mira and we see the heart behind it, he melted me. He’s still dominant and controlling- but in a sexy way.

I loved how Katie matches her writing style to the subject matter. This reads very differently than some of her other works- such as Den of Vipers- there is an “old world” classic quality -lushly descriptive and emotively dense. She brings that grandiose mythological flair, that epic tale tone, but then pairs it with quiet intimacy. It makes for a wild ride that leads up to a very dramatic finale- and then she surprises us with quite a bit of post climatic moment aftermath. There is a more intense and somber undertone to our story as well- our two characters have suffered as the result of their fates, and both have been deeply scarred by the act of loving. But “you cannot have thunder without lighting,” and they soon find their hearts opening.

This series is really unique and different- merging that mythological framework with the supernatural gives Katie a big and interesting playground to experiment in. Each is very different in tone and even in inspiration- but all are sexy, quick reads. This one left us hanging a bit about book 4- excited to see what this brother has gotten himself into in that story!

We are So Lucky to Experience Love

The Fates: Such a fighter, a rare soul. She doesn’t remember, but she had a choice, once upon a time.

Calder: A choice?

The Fates: When she was dying the first time, I came to her. I told her she had two paths in front of her — the warm embrace of death, where she would never be hurt again, where she would be safe and loved... or life. But in that life, she would suffer greatly, and experience pain like she never could have imagined. Over and over again, she would have to give up her very self to be nothing more than a weapon for years.

Calder: Why would she choose that?

The Fates: For you, god. I told her the truth, that there was a man, a god out there who was hers. Fated. But he was damaged. He was broken, and the only way to fix him, to save him, was for her to suffer. I told her that one day, she would have a choice very much like this once again, to die for him. To save him.

Calder: No, no, she wouldn’t —

The Fates: She didn’t remember, I made her forget. She only asked one question back then — is he worth it? I told her despite the cold exterior, he felt deeply and loved with all of his being, and that one day, he would help save the world. She didn’t need to hear more, and she gave herself willingly into that pain. For you.

My temptress... she chose me? Even back then? Even knowing how it would end? Why?

🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔅🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔆🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹🔅🔹🔸🔹🔸🔹

The world is a vast and lonely place, with everyone just searching for their lost half. Not everyone finds it, some find it in more than one person, while some find it and lose it. But we are all lucky to experience that love and wholeness when others never will. Yes, it’s a vast and lonely world... but they make it all worthwhile.

This is my first time not really knowing what to say about a book. It started off really good, but I can’t quite put into words what I want to say. It’s like Poseidon meets Zeus, Calder, and Siren meets the Little Mermaid, Mira. So this is defiantly not a bad book it really isn’t, it’s super great and very godly, where Calder is concerned. Plus, the villain in this book is epic. Something I didn’t expect at all. Now, I will not be giving away any clues as to who or what the villain is, all I want to say is that you definitely need to read this book because you will enjoy it. If you love godly, broody, possessive men, & sexy, angry, somewhat independent women, the supernatural or fantasy as some will call it, then you need to read this because it has the perfect mix of it. You have your sexy, your scary, your supernatural, and of course your villain, all in one story. But do be warned as this is a fairytale story, it has very steamy and enjoyable scenes. Though, I was a bit disappointed, this was a great book but I felt it was too short. K. A. Knight is a great writer, I got that from reading Den of Vipers, but I just wanted more of Mira and Calder, they are very lovable characters. Either way, I am way to excited to read the other books in the series. Thanks K. A. Knight for another great story.

I received and arc for this book.

This was a great addition to The Fallen Gods series. I was excited when I heard that this one had a siren in it and it didn’t disappoint. This book is about finding lightness within the dark. It’s filled with pain, love, steam, and death- all the feels that Katie always delivers.
Calder has made himself a loner and closed himself off from everyone, including his family. Mira has a dark past, doesn’t trust men, and can’t wait until the day she’s finally free of another monster. Their lives entwine, giving them both exactly what they need, but never expected. I loved Mira’s fierce personality, Calder’s dominance, and the electric chemistry and love that they had.
I was getting vibes of The Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean, Beauty and the Beast, and Katie’s dark twist on it all with mythology and steam. I was happy to see Bella and Ciar again, even if it was brief- I still need more of her snark in my life. I feel like action took a back seat to the romance, but I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

The temptress and the storm. A siren and a sea god. Seems meant to be, right? However, the siren has been hurt, betrayed, killed, and enslaved. The sea god had to kill the woman he loved to protect those who meant most to him. Both have been damaged by love and are unwilling to trust and fall again. Yet neither can withstand the force of the lightning this time.

This story had such a Gothic feel to it. My overall impression was a melancholy beauty wrapped in pain. I struggled with the first half of the book. Mira quickly won me over but Calder didn't appeal to me. His anger didn't come across as passionate, just ugliness. He didn't convey sexy cruelty, only meanness. As odd as it sounds, he was most likable to me when he was in pain due to his own actions. However, when the storm finally broke within him, the story changed for me. He proved his love and worth and I think these two will be a force in the future. Now we need to go save a brother!

This was a quick, but yummy read from Katie! This is the third in the series about the Fallen God brothers, this one about Calder. I love this angry sea god and definitely want one of my own. Mira, the broken, beautiful siren that he finds within his own strike of lightning is trapped as the slave to a monster. This monster feels Calder’s power within his storms and requires that power for himself, sending Mira to obtain it. Of course, Mira is also unable to resist Calder, although she does try to fight her hunger for him, as long as she can. The is a paranormal romance, but I think readers that don’t normally read that genre can still enjoy it. At its heart, this book really just tells the story of a betrayed man, full of anger and the need to control, and the woman who means to heal him, while also hoping to heal from her own suffering and servitude. Can’t wait for the next in this series!

This is book three of the The Fallen Gods series and it keeps getting better and better. I fell in love with this enchanting story and before I knew it, I was reading the last page. Katie Knight weaves her magic once again while enfolding a tale of the siren and the sea god- his temptress and her storm. These characters are so damaged, flawed and raw, just they way I like them. They are both leading solitary lives, one by choice and the other force. Calder is dark, stormy, brooding while Mira is a sultry, tormented captive. This couple is electric together, literally. I adored this beautifully written, intriguing story. K. A. Knight is a genius story teller and I have loved everything that she has ever written. You need to read this five star book, series today.

By far my favorite in the series so far! It was in my opinion completely different than the previous two in the aspect of how the couple connects and gets closer...it’s hard to explain without giving certain things away. But this one...sigh...my heart just broke for Mira...and then our gorgeous storm god, I couldn’t get enough of him and I just wanted to hug him too! So much pain they both have to work through...but so beyond worth it and I can’t freaking wait for the next book in the series! I said it with the last book and I’ll say it again...each book continues to get better as the puzzle pieces fall into place and we learn more and more about why our sexy gods are FINALLY finding mates! The next release date can’t come soon enough!

Fallen Gods…series of hot, dark, sexy alpha males. In ‘Pretty Stormy’ we meet the very Dominant God, and he is steeaamy (get ready to pant)!! Burnt by love in the past, Calder rightfully does not trust the sexy Siren. He’s hard on the outside AND the inside, so irresistible ;-). He must overcome his shadowed past to accept that he’s finally found a mate that’s worthy of him, and that he’s worthy of in return!
Mira is the sexy siren with a good heart, forced to commit dark acts. Cursed and bound, she must lure and betray the powerful God. Can she learn to trust in herself and her mate?
An oversimplification of this short, steamy story! I LOVED ‘Pretty Stormy’; like the other books in this series, it is dark and tempting. This series KEEPS GETTING BETTER with each brother we meet!

Oh I absolutely loved this book, we are now up to brother number three, Calder and his mate Mira. They have both been betrayed by those they love, and Mira now finds herself a prisoner to another being. Neither is very trusting of others now, but when circumstances pull them together they have to learn to try and trust.

Mira was fantastic, she is a siren with a past. And her whole story is brilliant to read. I can't get enough of these books and as the brothers slowly start to come together with their mates and each other I'm excited to find out where these stories are gonna go. Especially with the information that is revealed during each book!

This is book 3 in a continuation series from Her Monsters.
I just love seeing the world expand and getting
to know each fallen god and their mate.

They’re both powerful, destructive, and broken. They carry a heavy burden. The dual POVs give such a special look into them and made getting to know them a joy. I couldn’t help but swoon. Dominating and confident they battle for control and damn is it epic. Their struggle and emotions were felt deep. Their connection was undeniable and their passions ignited a fire within me. They were combustible and it was bloody brilliant. Can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

The third in this series of sort of standalones ( each book is the story of one of the seven brothers) Calder and Mira have quite a rocky start in this book but they eventually see each other for who they are and take us on a “stormy” adventure ! This is a quick and fun read with intense, powerful characters. Both the main characters come with dark histories, and watching their individual growth as well as their relationship develop was really fun. This series has a great storyline that spans all the books. I am really loving the idea of this series and recommend you read them in the proper order to fully enjoy the story line!

God and siren, steamy

A solid book in the series, I do feel like most of this series is mostly steam and the story comes second. I enjoy Katie’s books, so I don’t mind the steam.

“Why do you call storms that light up the night with pain and longing? Why does the sea greet you like an old friend? Why?” she shouts. “You are like me, but if you keep denying it, keep pushing everyone away, all you will have left at the end are regrets.” - Pretty Stormy, KA Knight

Katie writes dark and seductive so well and the characters chemistry shines. You’ll stay interested because the characters are worth it.

This couple is a bit dramatic. Mostly, Cal is. He's very oody broody and woe is me.

I like the siren and the sea god thing. That's hot. I'm glad there was more smut towards the end. The conflict resolved itself around 70% and the last 30% was just small clips of their time together. More smut, loving and caring time. It was nice. Also for the most part, they were in their own world on some coast in a castle that's on a cliff or in the water. We weren't really influenced by the outside other than the ships or at the very end. So that elusive timeline that I'm in search for didn't bother me with this story. Which again, was nice.

I Give this Book a 3.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.

HEA(?): Yes
Dark(?): No
Heat: 3-3.5/5
Romance: 3-3.5/5, not as much romance as I was expecting.
Relationship Type: MF
Drama: 3-3.5ish/5
Suspense: 2ish/5
Pacing: Mid Fast to Fast.
No Spoilers.

This is a good palate cleanser between books, it is a fairly short and the pacing fit the sizing of the book. I kinda wish there was more drama, there a lot of heat in this book and I think heat drowned out the storyline a little bit. It does feel a tad rushed at the end, and I feel like a few questions weren’t answered.

This book slayed all my expectations when I already knew it was going to be amazing. K.A. Knight has a way with words that hooks the readers and keeps them intrigued throughout the whole book. This series keeps getting better and better!

Calder is a sea god that is lost with no direction, not very trusting, and just looking for his path. Mira, a siren, is caught in prison with no way out. Both must lean on each other to get past what holds them back and reach toward the future.

I can’t wait to see how this series continues as we know it's going to be epic!
