After 14 years on walkabout to New York, Colorado, Texas and Tokyo, I swam home to spawn in shoreline Connecticut. A recovering computer programmer, I’ve worked in the seismic industry, semiconductor electronics, academic research in biology and environmental science, and online teaching simulators.

I live alone, and enjoy swimming, walking, and crafts. I grow vegetables indoors, until my crops spill outside and down the driveway. I read voraciously, curious about everything, especially how things work.

This series has been enjoyable, the first 3 books more so. But there was a part of this book that truly bothered me that I don't know if I can get past. Maybe one more to see if it gets better.

Prosper & Thrive

This is another awesome book by Ginger Booth. I am an ARC reader for this author and have the privilege of reading her books prior to their release. This is book 7 in her Thrive series. Her characters come alive on the pages of the book. In book 7 the original crew come back together again on new adventure. The crew travels to 3 different planets to the first time.

This book is full of adventure, unusual societies, and amazing feats. You will truly enjoy reading any and all books by this author.

Four and a half stars of greatness!

This series rocks! The crews of Thrive and Prosper go on another great adventure together! First- a return to Sanctuary and unfortunately another battle with a powerful AI. Second- a voyage to a new colony of earth refugees, Canton. Sanctuary is failing and it’s inhabitants want to find a new home so they sEek out Canton after checking the prospects of Mahina. Canton although founded in the late 21st century is largely medieval in lifestyle mixing technology with magic, infused with paranoia.

Intense and Fun

This volume in the Ginger’s Thrive universe is a really entertaining story. In it the reader is taken to a different world in this wonderful SiFi series. Ginger is fantastic in building characters and worlds and here she seemed to have a lot of fun. Her detail and imagination have made this book one of my favorites. It is also full of wit and humor. All of the standard characters in the series get interesting story time along with typical teenage antics by Nico. I am thrilled to have brought Ginger’s stories into my universe.

Need fifteen stars The crews of three ships used the stargate and found more worlds

Sass,Clay, And the crews of Prosper and Thrive joined with one from Sanctuary go to check out another system. They were interested in one world especially. One that had been settled before but it has problems that set it back many decades and made the people unfriendly. After a battle that caused the Prosper to be kidnapped and almost wrecked. Oh heck you have to read their is so much more to this story that I can’t tell but when you can’t put it down until last page you will understand.

Series getting worse as it goes.

Decent characters, sometimes too many. Ridiculous situations, not one character has a brain. Smartest in this book is the AI. Zero communication with crew plus total inability to follow orders causes 90% of their problems. Getting very close to the "stupid people making stupid decisions" genre instead of science fiction.

Loved it! I discovered this author and began with the first Thrive book, Skyship Thrive. What a ride! There are 9 in this series and I got to binge read them all. If you like science fiction and action/adventure - you will enjoy these stories.

More adventures

Sass, Clay, and the rest of the crew together with a few representatives from Sanctuary search for a new place to live. Nothing is ever simple. A fun read.

More space adventures

Another world and another amazing adventure for Sass & Ben. Ginger Booth comes up with the mysteries of Magic & Matter in this tale. I thoroughly enjoy reading her books.
