Bubba Dub Dub is Book 2 in the Mischance & Calamity Mystery Series.
I really enjoyed this book.

Felicity's father has gone missing from witness protection. Felicity and Cal head back to Bent to look for him. Cal gets called away on important business so Ms. Chance meets up with her quirky friends from her last visit to try and locate her dad while dodging the russian mobsters.

The characters are well written with great a deal of humor and fun.

The mystery is perfectly paced and really fun.

This is a stand alone book but I suggest reading the first book, Bayou Bubba which is equally fantastic.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Book 2 in the series, originally part of Kindle World, is a fun book, filled with plot twists, adventure and situations sure to have you laughing out loud. We're back in the bayou just 10 days after Felicity found her dad. "Why?" you might ask? What would draw her from her safe life in Indiana to the bug infested, road crossing alligator, hot and steamy bayou in Bent, Alabama? Why, a phone call, of course! Not from her father this time, or her hunky PI Cal Amity, but from Detective Rouse, the Federal agent who had placed him under witness protection. Her dad was missing again! Though Cal accompanies Felicity to the bayou once again, he is quickly called back to Indianapolis on an urgent matter, leaving Felicity alone to find her father and get to the bottom of things. Luckily, Irene and Dottie Tae, her new best friends in Bent, are right there to step in and help with the mission! This book is impossible to put down once the reading begins and the twists will have you turning pages, anxious to get to the bottom of the mystery! Did her father actually return to Bent and why would he leave his protection in the first place? Grab your copy today and find out!!!!!!

Role reversal anyone?

It seems to me that Felly and her father’s relationship is an extreme case of role reversal. I would imagine that a great deal of the population when considering parent child relationships identify the parent as the more responsible party and the child being more of a “loose cannon” prior to maturing into responsible adults. It is insane that Felly is constantly running after her father, placing herself in grave danger, trying to save him from himself. Even so, this is an extremely entertaining story. I found myself actually laughing out loud more than once. Felly and her two aged cohorts are a hoot!

This is a clean read; no vulgar profanity, sexual situations, or graphic violence which I appreciate. I am really enjoying reading this series from Sam Cheever. It is quite different than the other her other series that I have read. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from the author. This gift did not affect my review of the book. This review is my voluntary and honest opinion.

BUBBA DUB DUB by Sam Cheever is another laugh a minute book, even when the bullets fly you'll be laughing.

Be prepared, Ms. Cheever has a talent for turning phrases like "Crisis on a cracker!", our heroine's favorite phrase.  This author also knows how to create great characters and believable world building - you can feel the heat and mosquitoes.

Get ready for another trip to Bent, Alabama and the Bayou. Felicity Chance is looking for her father, again. Felonius Chance III has dissapeared, again. Felicity is on her own as her gorgeous hunk, PI Cal Amity has his own "crisis on a cracker" to take care of.  But don't worry, Irene and Dorrie Tae the local BSers are there to help.  Can they find out where Felonious is before law enforcement, the Russian mob or the local mob find him?

I definitely recommend this book if you want to laugh and enjoy a fun, relaxing story. It is not long and fun ans easy read.

Felicity is on a mission to find her father - Felonies Chance after he escapes the safe house he was supposed to be in then go into the Witness Protection after the trial he was supposed to give evidence and testimony in. 'Felly' calls on her Private Investigator Cal Amity to help her. They head back to the swamplands of Bent. Also looking for him is Detective Paul Rouse, and some Russian mobster - Nicolai Ruschoff. Cal can't stay so that is where Felly's new friends, retired spies Irene and Dorry Tae come in. There is plenty of strange and odd antics that happen along the way. This is a fun to read story. Looking forward to the next one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Felly to the Rescue!!!!! Not only is she rescuing but she has to deal with Rouse, Russians, possibly the mafia, and strawberry cream pie.

Wow, another great adventure with Felly and the gang. Although not much of eye candy Cal. Maybe his phone call will be a side story at another time?

I think I might have figured out how Felly stays with the BSers and the Bayou permanently. Were we given the clue in the story?

Very funny, loving the old references to cartoons -- kind of like this story too? -- and quirky sayings.

This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.

Back To The 'Bama Bayou, Again!
These stories just keep getting better. If you have ever been in the swamps in the south, you will understand this story. Even if you have not, the author will make it come alive for you. In this episode, we get to experience the bayou once again. We learn more about the ladies of the Bent Society and experience some serious rivalry between the churches. It is a riot and a fun story. I can't wait to see what happens next. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprout and this is my honest review.

Felicity Chance's father was accountant for the Russian Mafia and now is on the run. He does not believe in the state witness protection, nor does he really want to be a witness against his former boss, so he runs. Felicity and her friend Cal, a PI, try for the second time to find him in the Swamps of Louisiana.
Of course things are never easy. Partly suspense, partly hilarious with quite eccentric characters it is an entertaining story.

Felicity Chance returns to Bent, Alabama to once again find her father who escaped from protective custody after being shot at.
We have a fast paced story with developed characters including the local mob, and the Russians.
There are many similarities to another series, but this story was created originally in one of the Kindle Worlds, and the author was allowed to rewrite removing the original references.
For those who enjoy the other series will also enjoy this one.

Well here we go again, back to Bent! Now it's the Russians are coming! The Russians are coming! Felicity's dad has gone missing again! And back to Bent we go but Cal can't stay the whole time and "play" with Felicity, Dorrie Tae & Irene. It's up to the ladies to find Felicity's dad and deal with the Russians, the Sherriff and the local Mob.... (there was supposed to be a 3rd book, but I'm not sure what happened... hum?)

Awesome read

I don’t like to give spoilers on the books that I read. I believe the blurb on the back is enough for you to decide if you will read the book or not. If you choose to read, enjoy!

Sam Cheever has done it again. Bubba Dub Dub is simply wonderful. It's a carefree funny tale involving the ever so helpless Felicity Chance and the Swamp Team 3 (now known as the Swamp Team 3 plus 1).

In this hilarious continuance of the series, Felicity returns to the Louisiana swamps (Sinful, Louisiana) to look for clues to find her Dad. Felicity and her "full of antics helpers" embark on another wild adventure while looking for clues. They have run-ins with the law, the Russian Mob, alligators and the locals and that is just for starters.

This is a must read tale simply for the entertainment value not to mention finding out what this crazy bunch stumbles into - Literally Stumbles!!

Bubba Dub Dub was a delightfully entertaining read. I missed the first story dealing with Felicity and the Swamp Team 3 adventures. I loved how the Swamp Team 3 was there to cover Felicity's back on all accounts. This story had me laughing through out every page and I can't wait to see what they get into next. Felicity and the Swamp Team 3 went up against the Russian mob, alligators, the locals and the law while on a wild adventure looking for clues to find Felicity's father. I really enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what these 4 will be up to next. If you are looking for a delightful entertaining story then this is a must read.

What a fun story...nothing deep, with hidden meanings and/or innuendos...just plain old fun reading. With a bit of stumbling and bumbling, Felicity Chance, with the aid of Swamp Team 3, find themselves in over their heads with the Russian Mafia. No worries, Swamp Team 3 is not easily deterred! You won't be disappointed with this quick read...except only that the fun is over way too quickly!

The laughs keep coming

This is somewhere between a short story and a novella, but packed with the characters we have come to love. The laughs continue with each page read. I needed those laughs last night, so was glad to settle in with this delightful story. If you're looking for a light read just for entertainment, I highly recommend this story.

I read two and three in reverse order and was upset with the protrayel that Gertie was seriously bumbling. As someone who uses prejudice against people dumb enough to judge without having a clue, making her a bumbling idiot really made me mad. She explained in Bubba Dub Dub the Gertie uses it for underestemation of her skills.

Sam Cheever is doing a fine job of incorporation Jana DeLeon's Sinful characters into her own story line. Fun...I hope she'll write a few more.
