The thrilling final installment of The Calculated Series!
Stefanie Ryland is a marine biologist whose life is going exactly to plan. She’s worked her way up the corporate ladder to land her dream job at the Oceanic Exploration Group and has a fulfilling personal life. Not to mention, her older sister, Ree, is soon going to make her the world's greatest aunt. However, a surprise phone call from Ree forces Stefanie to reevaluate everything she thought she knew. Not only has her sister been secretly moonlighting for the FBI and CIA, but Ree has also helped thwart several dangerous attacks. And her team believes that Dmitri, the man behind the attacks, has made the OEG his next target.
For CIA Operations Officer Joey Pacelli, putting Dmitri out of play isn’t just his job, it’s unfinished business. When the CIA and the FBI ask Stefanie Ryland to help them take Dmitri down, Joey travels to San Francisco to protect her. Teaming up with Stefanie is the perfect chance for Joey to beat his old nemesis at his own game. There’s just one problem – Dmitri is playing by an entirely new set of rules.
K.T. Lee is a writer, mom and engineer who grew up on a steady diet of books from a wide variety of genres. When K.T. began to write the kind of books she wanted to read, she mixed clever women and the sciences with elements from thrillers (and a dash of romance) to create The Calculated Series.
Ree is on a journey with family - the baby on board kind
Her sister Stef is working her dream job with OEG, that has her supervising the launch of unmanned submarine type vehicles with various monitoring devices. Another science geek in the family
When an enemy from the past rears his head, family and friends work together to catch him and help keep the California coastline safe
Intense drama and action with romantic action
A great read for fans of strong, smart females who can kick butt
This was another great read in the Calculated series, it had what I enjoyed from the previous novels and added some new stuff that I enjoyed. The characters were great and I really enjoyed reading this.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Dmitry is Back This fictional FBI/CIA story is rated PG, in my view. The story involves the ocean floor. The story moves quickly with a well thought out plot, good character development, and a very satisfying ending. I read this as part of the Calculated Box Set.
Another amazing book in this series! This author never disappoints and I love the way she mixes romance with suspense and danger. I highly recommend this entire series!
I liked seeing the mystery wrapped up. But I didn't really like the couple. Like they were fine as people but they didn't really click for me. I'm not really a romance person so that may be why.
