A fascinating and engaging nonfiction book and activity guide for children on the topic of trees. This entire backpack explorer series from Storey Publishing stands out. Children are presented with lots of nicely organized facts about trees using illustrations, real photos and infographics. The book not only includes facts for children to learn but interactive elements like scavenger hunts and ways to keep track of trees children have spotted. This book might work well in a nature group or classroom setting.
