About the author

Heath Stallcup was born in Salinas, California and relocated to Tupelo, Oklahoma in his tween years. He joined the US Navy and was stationed in Charleston, SC and Bangor, WA shortly after junior college. After his second tour he attended East Central University where he obtained BS degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He then served ten years with the State of Oklahoma as a Compliance and Enforcement Officer while moonlighting nights and weekends with his local Sheriff’s Office. He still lives in the small township of Tupelo, Oklahoma with his wife and three of his seven children. He steals time to write between household duties, going to ballgames, being a grandfather and the pet of numerous animals that have taken over his home. what an ending!!!

I’m very sad to see this series end but gosh what a ride it was reading through it. I’ve started many a zombie series and rarely finish the entire series but this one captivated me. I’m very sad at how some things ended, very happy about other things and how they ended and remain hopeful for the ending wrapped up in the final chapter. I’m so invested I may have to write Mr stallcup and ask if in his mind she was ever found. I just have to know!! And Simon dear Simon…..who’da thunk I’d ever have pulled for you? And I’d bet anything there’s a new Simon out there. As well as a mini Daniel. Mr. Stallcup if the thought ever comes up to continue the series even with a spin off I’m so here for it. Thank you for the ride of a lifetime!!! Kept my pregnant butt glued to the pages and many sleepless nights needing to continue reading. What a writer!! Definitely found your calling dear sir. I just wish the rest of your writing was my type of books so I could live in this universe you created forever.

Finale

I loved the series and the characters. I was sadden by Simon's comeuppance but, not surprised. I was hoping Simon's redemption would save him. I think Mr. Stallcup did a good and I might read another one of his works.

Wow what an incredible ending for this series!! Couldn't put it down! And damnit the feels for.... SIMON!! Who would've thought that would happen!! It was so hard trying to make this book last beyond one day!!

Great conclusion to this fantastic series. Each book had you hooked and the storyline did not disappoint as you went along. Follow Hatcher , Roger ,Andre, Carol and Simon in the trials they all face to survive.

This series is one of the best of the genre.
This author can turn out a great and entertaining series that makes it hard to stop reading and go to sleep.

Awesome series I love the individual character developments a lot of action. This series literally had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
