A romantic thriller about a retired spy coming back to a broken marriage after five years, when his wife’s lover is kidnapped and disappears. It’s set a few years in the future when the US has left NATO, and the EU and Russia have divided up Ukraine and are at the brink of another war. It’s a novel about love and betrayal and living with our choices.
