There was enough humor and horror in these stories to make an interesting read.

This is a fantastic collection with so many awesome stories. Mandy White's stories are always winners, but there are a ton of great stories here, like The Treehouse by Diana Garcia, POD 2: The Rescue by Chris Benedict, The Harkin by Matthew Stitt, and Vlad's Vampire Diary: Last Call by Juliette Kings are fine examples of the treasures you'll find in this collection. Highly recommended!

Another absorbing collection of disaster-themed stories. Despite the overall theme, it isn't all doom and gloom. Some of the stories are actually heart-warming and even hopeful.

I already know and love the work of Soleil Daniels and Mandy White. Some of the other contributors are worth checking out too.

My favourite stories (without giving away spoilers) are the one about the cat-memes and the one about the sex robots. I also enjoyed the Hal and Cassie story.

These collections are ideal for busy people who don't have time to invest in full-length novels. Or if you're looking to discover new authors in the horror and speculative genres, this would be a good introduction.
