Neville Goddard was a writer, speaker and mystic. He taught various self-help methods for testing his own claim that the human imagination is omnificent, therefore God. He achieved popularity by reinterpreting the Bible and the poetry of William Blake.

MUST HAVE

This collection is most definitely not for casual reading: it is one of the best study/meditative sources/resources I have yet to find, and I think I have quite a few. To describe my thoughts on this right now is almost indescribable. I'm reading this again, and again, and again... I AM

Incredible work.
It's very rare for us to be able to read a book (or many, in this particular case) about (christian) religion/faith and consciousness that was written over 50 years ago without it aging so badly.
Neville Goddard does an impeccable job interpreting the bible as a psychological drama and correlating it to consciousness.

The only thing I might have against this book is the formatting of the kindle ebook. Which, unfortunately, was very poor. But also, the ebook is pretty cheap so what exactly am I complaining about? Nothing.

Anyone who talks about being a chosen messenger of Christ’s promise is a fucking crazy person. Neville constantly moves the goalpost & changes the meaning of the Bible’s supposed symbolism & his techniques are bootycheeks. Honestly can we just fucking forget about the Bible & stop talking about it? Thing is, the Bible DOES talk about a lot of these concepts—at this point I’ve read so many “holy” scriptures that I get them confused—it just rarely ever fits as well as Neville tries to make it. What is the point of all of God’s commandments & rules if we’re thinking of the Bible from Neville’s perspective? & speaking of God, Neville never definitively answers the question of who or what God is. God is consciousness, God is you, God is everything, but then we occasionally dip back down into language that implies God is outside of you, an authority, something bigger than you, or something incomprehensible or unknown to you. It’s very fucking annoying to hear male-female analogies of the consciousness & subconscious when your subconscious is literally just more of you, & a lot of the things people react to, the dreams they have, or pet peeves that bother them “without them knowing why” is just their subconscious influence. This basically explains away all the tarnishing of the female sex undergone in the Bible by saying it was all one big analogy that we weren’t meant to take literally of course! Silly us! If conscious manifestation was truly behind every word of the drivel written in the Bible I think the prophets led us astray, because that book has done much more harm than good.

This will be a long term ongoing book for me. I have read and listened to Neville lectures before and bought his collection years ago and finally got to completing it. Anyone who is listening or watching manifesting coaches on YouTube or TikTok and not seeing results, do yourself a favor and just go straight to the source and read Neville (along with so many of the greats before him). Neville Goddard’s books are not meant to be quick reads as much as they are a masterclass in manifesting that takes ongoing study and practice, as simple as the teaching is. If we all earnestly applied the principles Neville teaches, I wholeheartedly believe we could lead our dreams lives and dare I say achieve peace in society. It only ever starts within.

I like to call this "my bible." At Your Command, Faith is Your Fortune, Freedom for All, and Feeling is the Secret are incredible and I consider absolutely fundamental texts for anyone into the subject matter. Neville does get a bit redundant at times and everything after the works I listed do kinda lose me a bit but are still worth reading. Absolutely the foundation of my belief system today.
