Piper Pájaro and Sloane MacBrute are two 13-year-old girls with very different lives but very similar secrets. Popular, outgoing Piper is strong-like, ripping-the-doors-off-cars strong. To help her family, she has to put those smarts to use for her villainous grandfather.
When a mission to steal an experimental technological device brings the two girls face to face with each other, the device sparks-and the two girls switch bodies! Now they must live in each other's shoes as they figure out a way to switch back. Anti/Hero is a story that explores what makes a hero, how one can find friendship where it's unexpected, and what it means to walk in another person's shoes...literally!

Pretty sure I am going to buy the whole thing of this. The story is told from the "bad" girl's pov as well as the hero who does not like what the police call her. This is awesome. Funny, nice, smart girls. What is not to love?

Tale of a hero and villain who arise at the same time.

Good color artwork. Dc comics freebie. 10 pages. This would be easier to review if it was 32 pages. Two girls, one a hero, one a villain, seem to be heading for a collision course.

Set in Eastern Gotham: “The dark heart of the suburbs.”

Sloane MacBruter, aka Gray, is on a mission for The Bear.

Her AI assistant, Minnie, is quite snappy.

As Piper Pájaro is eating some chips on the rooftop, she spies Worker Drones.

Infiltration. Heist. Confrontation…and interruption.

Interesting face-off setup. Cool vibe to have it be a rivalry between two younger females, rather than older men.

Fun and engaging. Curious to see where this one goes.

I liked how it showed the different perspectives of the different characters and why the villain is a villain.
