There’s no way we could have seen it coming. Crown was supposed to be safe, but somehow, some way, a trio of high-level mercenaries gave us the fight of our lives. After a long battle, we managed to fend them off, but not without casualties.Mr. Hoover fought to protect us all—he saved our lives while risking his own—and now he’s bedridden in a hidden location. Mr. Ferris and the others are optimistic about his recovery, but we won’t know until he opens his eyes.

What an awesome story. Aiden Cross is one of a kind, and he gets the job done. Plenty of suspense and action to keep you reading. Received a complimentary copy and reviewed because it’s a definite read. Done miss out once it’s released.

Alex has given us another exciting book in the Aiden Cross saga. This series has taken on a life of its own. This started out looking like it might be just another academy series, a little different, but still, academy. But, boy, has it morphed!
What we have now is the makings of a new Green Arrow, or Avengers, or maybe a League of Extraordinary...well, I'm not going to say Gentlemen cause that would be misleading. But certainly a league of something! These students are coming together in a way that is both smooth and explosive, and I'm loving watching it happen. This isn't about love affairs or your typical college angst. This is more in line with a calling these kids have that they feel the need to answer, but are desperately in need of training to be able to answer it effectively. So, will they have the time to train properly? Things start to move fast and furious, and I'm on the edge of my seat all the time while reading this.
I don't want to give away any deets, so I'm going to leave it with this. This isn't your mom's Academy PNR. This is very different and even as old as I am, I'm thoroughly enjoying the excitement and energy that just leaps off the pages.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.

This series is just incredible and with each book it just gets better and better! It’s action packed and much more intense and suspenseful and the twists, well some I did not see coming! Keeping me on the edge of my seat the whole read as once again I found myself totally engrossed in this darker episode I would have to agree that this would make a great tv series and the characters are just amazing!

Aiden is getting stronger and learning to handle his power better. It will take time and practice. All five have improved. A lot to think about and learn. Strategy, defense, changeling power so much. They will be quit a force for good when they finish school. Very good story. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Alex Villavasso has proven on his Aiden Cross: Academy Outcast series that he is tops when it comes to writing stories about supernatural superheroes in an academy setting. Happily he continues his perfect storytelling streak in The Elite (Book 3). This is just pure adrenaline pumping fun. If you’re even remotely in the mood for this kind of story then I highly recommend this series abs book.

This is another one of those series that tends to get better and better the more it goes on. This authors storylines get more intense with every book. Where do they come from. Cannot wait to see what happens next. Highly recommended.
