This Manga is an excellent example of the most dangerously toxic tropes of yaoi manga. It got 2 instead of 1 because the art is stunning. It also has likable characters-- which is creepy since one of them is a rapist and the other is possessed by a rapist. Thing is, the entire plot after the first adorable chapters of this 'comedy' is constructed to show rape, noncon, dubcon, and consent forced by survival (which is still dubcon) as constantly as possible. The fan service here is the nonconsentual aspects of the relationships as much as the pretty art. Worst of all, no rarely means no, but 'try harder'. It presents obsession and stalking as a valid means of demonstrating affection and loyalty. All the rape is presented as not being the fault of the characters and as forgivable. It's insidious as hell. This has always been a problem in Yaoi where rape is normalized, and it's true that this one shows lasting trauma (which is unusual), but that hardly means much when the trauma and continued noncon appear at the same damn time! The underlying message is 'sometimes good people are rapists, should be forgiven and rape/noncon is sexy as hell'. 1 for the content, 4 for skill at characterization, 5 for the art. The 1 has more weight than the rest, being so egregious so...2. My annoyance is increased since this is a fairly new manga and by this point, these tropes should be getting more scrutiny, not doubled down on.

Love the story, and cute art too. Esp chibis. It’s nice to see skin too lmao. It’s not like the other manhuas where they completely cut off the smut. Thank God. Lol.
