Jewels Cafe: Sapphire #1.5

Sapphire: I'm Sexy And I Snow It

Rate this book
My mates and I are attending a fancy ball hosted by Ford’s parents. We promised we’d behave, but that’s getting harder (hehehe) by the minute.

Wim is drunk. Bob doesn’t know what’s happening, and Ford…poor Ford. His family is looking down on him more than ever.

Everyone here is a snob who desperately needs to have their tight buttholes loosened up. Not literally. I’m not doing you-know-what to Ford’s family. But I am turning this stiff, snobby party into something more fun.

Sapphire: I’m Sexy and I Snow It is a RH novella that takes place between Sapphire and Sapphire: Two Scoops of Trouble. It originally appeared in the Snow Men RH collection.

When Daleney tells me she has a new story that I haven't read yet, I don't need to think twice. She has the very rare talent to combine humor, with a filthy mouth and some seriousness in between. She can make me blush, she can make me cry and she can make me laugh out loud within the span of 200 pages. And reuniting with Sapphire and her gang is surely gonna be all of those things.

It's hard to write a full review of a book that's not even a 50 pages and is basically just a short story, but it's in every way what you expect a short story to be. Does it really add much to the plot? No. Does it show us loads of new things about the characters? Also no. Is it nice to see all those familiar characters back and to enjoy their dynamics? Hell yeah!

And even though it's only a short story with not even that much plot, it did manage to combine everything once again. The first chapter made me giggle and blush and I love how Sapphire just says what comes to mind (and how that makes Ford blush). And then we entered a more serious part of the story where we saw how messed up Ford's family is and I felt so incredibly sorry for him. He was trying so hard! And then we end the story with a lot of hilarious scenes making me lough out loud.

On top of that Delaney really managed to give every character a moment of fame. Of course, Ford and Sapphire are at the centre of attention. Sapphire because it's her point of view and Ford because it's his family, but the other guys are not forgotten. They're actively there, actively playing a part in the story and more than just side characters. And Bob still makes me smile. He's just too cute. I wanna hug him.

Hilarious! I was having a rough day and picked up this book. I am SO glad I did! I haven't had a chance to read the other Sapphire books yet, but i will be picking those up today. Sapphire is hilarious! She is fun and witty. Her men are so opposites, it just fits. If you are looking for a fun quick read, look no further! This book will have you laughing out loud and just living in the moment!

Cute!

This was a funny, enjoyable book. There was funny characters and enjoyable scenes. You get to know Ford some more with this book and Whim when he is drunk! Loved it! It was great.

I loved getting to see Sapphire and her men again, especially Bob! We get to meet Ford’s uptight family and what’s made him the way that he is, and I have to say I agree with how Sapphire and Wim feel about them. As much as she tries, she can’t play nice with the way they treat people below their status and their own son. Her, Bob, Wim, and Ford go outside to play in the snow and with Juniper’s help the Mid-Winter Gala takes a surprising and hilarious turn!
I loved getting to see a more relaxed version of Wim, Sapphire trying to behave herself, and Bob with his Bobness (there’s no other word to describe it). I feel so bad for Ford and wish he would see that he doesn’t need his parent’s acceptance to be happy when he has such an amazing family with Sapphire, Bob, and Wim. I’m always excited to see more of this group and I can’t wait to see what’s next! PS- can we please make “Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day” a National holiday?

This was a hilarious short story I really wasn't expecting to laugh out loud liked I did. Even though I haven't read Sapphire story I loved the chaos and the shenanigans that transpired in this short. I'll definitely will be one clicking on that series. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.

This was a really fun snippet into the lives of Sapphire and her guys, even though it's based on difficult family expectations. Of course, they manage to find a way to make the obligatory function highly entertaining and I giggled all through it. You can feel the chemistry still madly burning between the guys and Sapphire so you know they continue to have their HEA, despite Ford's family. All great fun and I hope we get some more of these kind of bonus epilogues :)

Sapphire is still at it!

Sapphire and her mates Bob, Wim and Ford have to go to a function regarDless parents are hosting. So what will Sapphire do? I feel bad for Ford because he seems like he is stuck in a rut of war between Sapphire and his bond mates and his family. Will he finally choose it stand up to them. Don't think that Sapphire will pass on making the night enjoyable. It's her way to make things up to Ford. Get ready for some laughs and enjoy this novella.

I love this world and all of the characters. So fun to have Sapphire and her guys back. Even if it is a short story, I just like catching up. So this is in between Sapphire and Sapphire and Two Scoops of Trouble.

Here Sapphire, Bob, Wim and Ford are needing to go to a get together. But things do not go so smooth. This quick read shows you why this series is so fun and Sapphire is a great character.

This book is just fun loving short story with a dose of chaos. Not really any defined plot that you have to figure out who did something or other. Just getting to hang out with Ford's uptight family who needs to get taken down a peg or five. If you are looking for a light hearted read, this is for you. I am so going to use the line "Developing Boys And Girls' Sensibilities" line in the future. Ford, you are too good for them and you have your own family now!

I am totally loving the familiarity that I have with these guys...and the hilarity of their actions...especially when they're 'trying' to 'behave' for Ford's family! In this funny short story, we get to meet April June...or is it April May....also known as Juniper (who gets her own book in the new Silver Springs series).
Gotta love Bob! I think everyone needs a Bob....he's just so....Bob!!

Hilarious!
Another great and extremely fun story about Sapphire and her mates.
We get to meet Ford's uptight family, see more of Bob's Bob-ishness and with some help from Juniper, the Mid-Winter Galla is turned upside down.
It might be short, but it is SO worth the read. A must for any fans of Silver Spring or Rom Coms in general.

Do not drink while reading!

Sapphire is always a hoot and a half, but this story had me giggling, snorting, and outright laughing like a maniac. I had to stop drinking me tea cause I got tired of cleaning my phone (I started feeling like Ford with the random sneezing....except mine was uncontrollable laughter)

Totally hysterical fun

Love this totally hilarious book. This author always leaves me in stitches. Plenty of steam but the star of these shows is the sharp wit and tongue in cheek parody of traditional romance tropes. Love it! Can't wait for more from the dildo witch. Definitely recommend.

Sapphire: I'm Sexy And I Snow It

What happens when Ford takes Sapphire, Bob, & Wim to a gala at his parents house? Manheim that's what happens!

Sapphire has always told Ford that he's better then the snobby family he comes from. And after arriving at the gala she's even more convinced.

Winter

This is a great little novella. Sapphire reminds us that sometimes we don't need to confirm to what other people think we should be. Remembering to be ourselves is most important.

This was a funny short story into the lives of Sapphire and her guys. It was good to catch up with them.
Sapphire and the guys are dragged to a party hosted by Ford's stuck-up parents, and it's clear that nobody I'd having fun, so in steps Sapphire to liven it up in her unique style.

Sexy Sassy Sapphire Strikes Again!

Sapphire and her men are a funny, raunchy break from reality!

What can the ice cream eating vampire expect when she is attending a winter ball? LOTS of snowy fun and unexpected hilarity.

Warning for language and sexy connotations! lol!

This was such a fun sequel to Sapphire. I loved how Ford finally felt he was able to stand up to his parents. I couldn’t stop laughing at the dancing snowmen though especially with his *addition*. Loved the inclusion of Juniper as well.

"Luckily, the cold never bothered me anyway."

Eva Delaney is a hoot! All the characters from Sapphire are hysterical. They all go to a fancy ball at Ford's parents house. Wait until you read what they do to liven up the party! 😄
