"Allow Me" by Celeste Granger
My Speculation:
I enjoyed reading about Elle Moore and Winston Pierre-Toussaint. There first meeting was something that will cause a binding for them. With Ellie being a photographer and Winston bein a billionaire and a consummate businessman, I knew something good was going to happen. It was too bad for Ellie that she had an ex-boyfriend Solomon who suddenly started presenting problems for her. I was so glad Ellie had not only her two friends that stuck with her through it all, but there was also Winston had her back too. "Allow Me" was a beautifully written story of how two people came together who loved each other but seemed to be made for one another as Winston 'would stop at nothing to capture Ellie's heart.'
Nice and easy read. If I am going to be pursued by a billionaire this is the speed dating I want to experience!!! Love is easy, but life is typical. Your past always want to interfere with your present and sabotage your future. I liked the romance that Winston offered Elle. I liked the friendship between Elle, Zion, and Tempest. I would have enjoyed more imagery during the intimate moments. I also caught whiplash on how quickly things progressed.
This was a nice story I enjoyed it very much. Elle and Winston all tractor to each other and although her loser ex tries to get in the way Elle and Winston continue to move forward in a relationship.
**Before I get on with the review, I'd like to ask a question(or two): What does the author have against punctuation, more specifically, question marks?! If a character is asking a question, shouldn't that sentence end with a question mark? Not trying to nitpick, but I've read a lot of Celeste Granger's books and was just wondering. Needs more proofreading/editing...**
Elle and Winston had a lot of chemistry. I could feel the romantic pull between them from the first moment they laid eyes on each other. Winston was so sweet and attentive with Elle. Everything with him was very intentional, and in the best way possible. I loved their dates and conversations, so much so that I wanted Winston to take Elle out more so I could get more interactions with them.🥰 The times they did spend together were just so sweet and sexy. One thing that should have been included was them getting to know each other even more. Both Elle and Winston had interesting pasts and backgrounds, especially relationship wise, but they never discussed that with each other...at least not where I could see. It would have been interesting to get each other's take on their past situations.
And while I'm glad Elle did what she did about Solomon, I'm surprised she was able to get it done based on one uninvited appearance and one phone call. Usually women have to jump through hoops with a mountain of evidence to be taken seriously. Also, I wish the author gave us a reason for Solomon's sudden reappearance after two years. He was at her first showing--how did he know? Was he broke now? Yeah, he said he wanted her, but why now and why so aggressive?! 🤔
I've read all the Moore Sisters stories and some of the Friends, and while all the heroes are smart, kind, sexy, and debonair, and I loved them, I would like to see what happens when one of these women gets romanced by a blue collar man. Just a thought...
This story embodied authentic love in its truest form. Winston, although very wealthy, has not received real love, as women want what he has to offer instead of him. Elle, a shy creative, yearns for love, but gave it to the wrong man. Locking eyes in the airport, was the introduction to a beautiful love story. When you know, you know. That is the feeling Winston felt after his encounter with Elle. He could not stop thinking about her, and knew he had to see her again. Elle, also felt a connection with Winston, and thought of him often. When he surprises Elle, she is shocked and flattered. She appreciates him being upfront about his feelings and what he wants. The dates! 💘. He was sweet, and pulled out all the stops for her! Their vibe was easy, and the journey to love was seamless, as their hearts united from the onset. Still swooning! Enjoyed it! 👍👍
Winston was a billionaire without all the pretense. He was down to earth for a man of excessive means. When he met Elle at the airport, their interaction catapulted the encounter to jet speed propulsion. The idea for this story was nicely told. I'm not usually a fan of a gazillion book series, but this author seems to know how to tell a tale and keep her readers engaged. I enjoyed this version of the next Moore series without all the Entanglement hooplah!!!! Lol!
I liked Elle & Winston's story. Elle was a bohemian photographer that really didn't believe she would find a man that loved and supported her passion. Winston was born with a silver spoon and a perfect gentleman. Their first encounter in the airport was my favorite part and then the fancy dates came in a close second. I liked Zion and I hope she eventually finds love in another novel. Cute story and beautiful cover.

That was the sweetest love story ever. I was hooked from the very beginning. Elle and Winston were perfect. I loved that she was such a creative artist. Loved her sister bond. Of course there had to be to be a selfish involved in the story but I was so glad that they dealt with it and Elle didn’t allow that past situation to stop her from loving and receiving love. Beautifully written.
Whirlwind Romance I just enjoyed this girl meets boy story and fell in love. Elle had baggage and so did Winston. Two different world collide and opposites attract. Hmmm...were they really opposites? I wish the story could have been longer! Can all of the Moore friends come back in a get together book? I would be interested in this story continuing to find out what Winston's Mom and Dad's reactions are to their billionaire son planning to marry a starving artist.
I enjoyed The book. love how Winston knew who he wanted and went after her. I wish there was a little more character development. What did Winstons family think if Elle? What finally happened to Solomon? Love a HAE, but felt like it needed a little more details. Thanks
I just enjoy reading about black love and the positive vibes. The riches but not arrogance and how the author allows her characters to really get to know each other before jumping into bed.
I would suggest more men reading these books and trying to please women the way the characters love and respect their own. 😍
Quick, easy and sexy read. Great chemistry. I really enjoyed reading about Elle and Winston. Loved the bond between the ladies also. Great book! Can't wait to hear more about Zion! 🙂🙂
Man Winston might look soft but he is nothing to play with. Elle needed a man who would support her dreams and help her reach them. Glad Winston stepped up to the plate and got a happy ever after in the end
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. For Winston and Elle were drawn to each other in an airport. It was love at first sight. A sweet romance. I recommend this book.
I absolutely loved this story! Elle was afraid to love again after the likes of Solomon. But then she meets Winston. A real gentleman that shows her that she can and will be lived again the right way. We all need friends like Tempestt and Zion.
What a blessing to find someone to love u the way u need and deserve. I swear seems when u happy the past always come calling. Loved this book such great chemistry from the beginning.
Elle and Winston hit it off right away and he proved to her that real love was possible! Solomon was crazy! I really enjoyed reading their story and I really wanted more! He was so loving and romantic! I wonder how his parents are going to react! Hope to see them again! Now if we can only get Zion a love interest!
