I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Prior to downloading this book, I had not read any of the books in the Muse Island series. Then I realized this book was #4 in the series and I simply CANNOT just randomly start reading a series at book #4! So I downloaded and read the other books (from Kindle Unlimited) and I fell in love with this series. Piper Prince is an awesome, confident MC and I enjoy her flirtations with Finn. I love how the authors pull characters & their adversaries from all philosophies of mythology!
The 4th book in the Muse Island series presents even bigger challenges for Piper Prince, and her growing group of friends, as they try to save Muse Island from frightening foes that are running rampant across the island, leaving destruction, chaos, and death in their wake. I could feel my pulse quicken as the whole Island is threatened, causing the characters to race around to try to save the day….or the night. Given the threat is centered around sleep and nightmares, I found myself thinking “how can they keep going so long without sleeping!? They must have some powerful coffee on that Island!” I have worked on an ambulance for the last 22 years of my life, so I completely understand how adrenaline (and coffee) can make all things possible 😉. I was also excited to find the romances finally starting to heat up in the fourth book!
Will I read the 5th book in the series? Heck yea I will! I can’t wait to find out how the less-than-cheery prophecies regarding Piper’s powers play out. And what exactly is Ari Fawkes’ game plan here? Who is actually a friend and who is a foe in hiding? SO. MANY. QUESTIONS! Here I come book #5!

Loved this book. So much more action, chaos, love, excitement, sadness in this one..Curse of the Night. I loved every bit of it of this series so far, each book becoming my favorite in the set lol Piper is in more control over her power but the what if still lingers in the faint of it all. Tez is rising and more uncertainty surrounding and nervousness for what's in store! And the cliff hanger! Oh the cliffhangers...you got my attention..well you've had my attention!! 10/10 on to book number 5 in The Muse Island Series!!!

Impossible to believe, but each book gets better than the last. Now Piper is again solving something. There are curses to worry about and more. How will the problem be solved. Well written.
