When she's not writing about sultry men and the trouble they get into, Jane is hard at work as an analyst at her company, where she spends most of her time pretending to work on spreadsheets while actually obsessing over vintage gowns online. In her perfect world, she'd be a jewel-bedecked Edwardian heiress, writing erotic stories on hotel stationery during her fabulous grand tour.

I liked this story a lot. It was a very entertaining take on the fake boyfriend genre. The characters were likable and relatable. Marie was in need of a fake boyfriend and chose Jeremy hoping that it would deter her dad from his matchmaking. It did, but with the consequence of her dad wanting to get to know Jeremy better. She tries to get to Jeremy to explain and see if he will help her before her dad invites him to dinner but doesn't quite manage to get out her explanation. Jeremy goes along with her though. He's intrigued by the curvy hottie and doesn't mind getting to know her better. They were so great together. Jeremy was super sweet with Marie but also protective. I loved their happy ever after. I do wish there was another epilogue further out, but that's because I'm greedy! I recommend reading this book.

This is a short and sweet fake romance which isn't fake at all. I loved the characters and story line. The author does a great job moving the story quickly and smoothly and brings it to life with her descriptive writing. It's an entertaining quickie.

- Chuckles and Heat with Swooning - This short story starts with several chuckles.  It's then followed by "awww" and swooning before ending in "YES!  YES!  YES!" (for more than one reason).  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
