Since her first night at The Evergreen Motel, Aly has been terrified of the haunting figure following her every move, desperate to escape her grasp. But is it possible that this ghostly woman isn’t the entity that Aly should be afraid of after all.
Another specter lurks in the shadows, growing stronger and more sinister with each passing hour. Unlike the first ghost, this one is more maniacal. It no longer cares that others are watching.
Will Aly survive this malevolent stalker?
An unrelenting, gripping tale, this final installment of internationally bestselling horror author Marc Layton’s series has the makings of ALL of your worst nightmares combined!
Marc Layton is the internationally bestselling horror author of The Haunting Of Bridge Manor, The Evergreen Motel and The Evil Inside. She and Phil are both arrested, and Aly fears that Kyle will now be able to kill her. But they come up with a plan...
I just finished reading the Evergreen Motel series with the last book ‘Cursed’. It was a great ending to the series. The story builds book by book until the explosive ending . See what happens to Aly and Phil as they battle ghosts from their past who are stalking them. These are not nice ghosts who float around scaring you but malevolent ghosts out for payback! Read it. It was great.
Can Aly and Phil finally find peace? As Nancy gets weaker, Kyle grows stronger by sucking the life out of her. He is on a rampage to get Aly. He wants her with him - dead. It's a scary story that finally puts the ghosts to rest and Aly and Phil are free to live their lives. Or are they??? This is an ARC book. The review is my honest opinion.
This book is amazing and really good. Getting to read it in sections, gives you time to think about what you've read before you start the next part. Its a good way to write a book. The story was good and moved along quickly with no time for you to get bored. The characters were well written and very interesting. You just have to read it so grab a copy and get started. You won't be sorry!
Marc Layton has me enthralled with the way his stories are woven. Brilliant. 'One must die' but who is the chosen one? This was a quick read - the killing suspense compelled me to read non stop.
Love this author and everything I've read by him. This 5 book series was exciting and interesting and twisty. It was fast paced with chills. I loved it!
Aly and Phil try to save themselves from the evil inhabiting the Motel. Lucky for them, with the help of Phil's dead wife and 2 Police Detectives they take on the spirt of Aly's dead boyfriend! An EPIC ENDING!!
What a ride this has been! The scares just keep coming. I have to say that this final instalment was a perfect ending to the story and kept the pace going right to the end. You won't be disappointed!
All the chapters moved along in a quick fashion. It had several twist and unexpected turns. It was more a thriller than a horror story but I still enjoyed it.
We finally have some answers but still there are open questions that could lead to another connected series. Would love to see if the story continues in some way.
