Victor died a hero—sort of. Now he gets to live again in another world, run on magic. However, the life of a god empowered hero (called a guardian) is a bit more complex than he imagined. Following his instincts leads Victor to allies and villains alike. The problem? He doesn't know which is which.( This book is intended for mature audiences only and contains scenes of graphic violence and sexual activity)

Author, artist, musician. You could say I'm the creative sort. My humour takes some getting used to. Born in Pembroke Ontario, raised in neighbouring city Cobden. I've enjoyed creating written worlds since I could read. My favourite project in school was when we got to write a story. I can spend hours talking about new ideas with like minded writers.

This lives up to it's title for the most part, but not entirely. The MC indeed runs into things he can't brush aside, and in some cases can't defeat at all. This gives it the balance that many stories of this sort lack, so that bumps it in my estimation to a 3.5 which I round up to 4.

There were some inconsistencies with his powers/alignment that I didn't quite follow but it muddles through. Not serious literature, but you'll probably get what you expect from this book.

Meh. It started off pretty well. The title says it all. The MC is way overpowered. The MC dies on earth saving a woman and gets a meeting with God and is given the opportunity to be a hero on another world, one with magic. Pretty standard. That was pretty much it though. Not much world building. He shows up one day, saves a princess. She bangs him as thank you and the next day he is an adventurer and is going on missions. There needs to be at least a little introduction to the world. Also his powers. Previous guardians on this world are one of 7 classes. The MC is all of them. All he has to do it think about a spell and it happens. Not much information about the species of the world or the political environment. By the end I didn't know who where the good guys and who were the bad guys. There were demons but the MC saved some of them so they weren't that bad? The princess was part succubus. I loved OP main characters but there needs to be more than that. At the very least a little more explanation about his powers.

Very light, whimsical

This is a quick story, gamelit rather than using stats.

He simply tellsz with a very quick almost rushed setup a story of a character who is way overpowered in his new life.

I thought it was going to be harem and lots of sex but whilst the harem tone is there, the sex only occurs a couple of times. There's some focus early on on how women look etc hence my thinking it would be that the whole way through.

Too much happens in a short space of time to make it satisfying for me, however treat it like candy and it perfectly readable and entertaining enough. Trying to write an overpowered character deliberately is hard, and it's not a bad effort.

If a bit of light heart hearted over powered hero action sounds like fun, this does the job.

Please take my three stars to mean it was OK, not bad :)

Good book

Well if you like books with op main characters then this book is for you, this book is pretty well written and fast paced with a decent story line, a little much on the harem elements and for all of the gamelit elements I wanted more, like stat sheets and stat progression, all in all I really liked this book and can't wait for more.

Good book

The concept of the book focuses on a character who is overpowered. And what it dosent do, is downplay this. He encounters harder and harder fights that make the book interesting, without making it like, "OH cool, he just smoked a bunch of level 1 mobs. Cool. So overpowered." Na this book is a good read.
