This book. It was sexy and intriguing. You could feel how much the two leads loved each other from the start even when she can't seem to figure out a way out of her situation that she's locked in for for her country. I look forward to the next one!

Loved this second part of the trilogy as much as the first part. The hero, Shehab is hot, sizzling hot in every way. He's strong, handsome, honest, protects the heroine and loves her deeply. Just want I want in a romance.
I loved the twist at the very beginning. Not expecting it at all.
Highly recommended and now eagerly awaiting the third part. I received the promo and the title is His Forbidden Passion. Sounds exciting. Cant wait.

Another wonderful read from this very talented author and a great continuation of this trilogy. I was instantly hooked from the very first chapter when Aliyah drops a bombshell on Shehab. From that moment on I had to keep reading to see how this story would unfold. The pace of this book is very fast and racy and you are on the edge of your seat to see where these two will end up. This book has it all. Fleshed out, very relatable characters who are strong and genuine as well as a few villians who you can't wait to see come undone. It is as much a suspenseful read as it is a romantic and sizzling one. Jennifer Jansen's latest offering doesn't disappoint. I'm so glad I have another book in this trilogy to continue the enjoyment of this author's writing and storytelling.

Loved this book. Got my free copy of this off Amazon. It was free for a day and I was so excited because I'd read the first book. This is the second book in the trilogy and I'm so looking forward to the third.
I absolutely loved the hero Shehab. He was so full of love and full of integrity. And the love scenes are sizzling and tastefully done. No foul language just beautifully written love scenes.
Enjoyed the villain and the action throughout the story.
Do yourselves a favour and get this trilogy. The first book is Duty Bound Desire the sheikh's forced marriage. The third one is coming soon.
Highly recommended.

The 2nd part in the Desert Desires series was even better than the first part. This part is about Aliyah and Shehab, a sister and the brother from the first part.
Aliyah and Shehab have known each other for years, but at Nabil and Yasmin's wedding, something grows between them that results in a hot night. Then Aliyah tells him that she is destined to marry someone else to strengthen ties between their countries.
Shehab is broken but also focused on winning her hand and heart. When he tries to prevent a war, they don't see each other for a year. The moment her engagement is announced, Shehab realizes that he has waited too long.
How does he keep her from being taken away, the only woman who has his heart? How does he prevent her nation from suffering the negative consequences? And how can Aliyah get out of her contract with her fiancé?
A story with many loving moments and memories of a hot night. Shehab is a sensitive passionate man who will do anything to prevent Aliyah from making her biggest mistake.
Aliyah aware of how she feels for Shehab but bound by a promise she can't get out of, tries everything to keep her from falling for him again.
The denouement is wonderfully described, full of suspense and a plot that you did not see coming. Wonderful novel with a HEA

Princess Aliyah Al Massoud is the only woman Prince Shehab Al Sayed has ever wanted. He sees her at the wedding of his sister to her brother and he can’t wait any longer. She tells him she wants him to be her first. After they had sex, she tells him a contract has been signed for her to marry another man. This would be to increase trade for her country and she can’t undo it. He tells her contracts are broken all the time. When her fiancé learns Aliyah was alone with Shehab, he is furious and even more so when she tries to break if off with him. It takes diplomacy on the part of Shehab in a meeting with the Emir of Batan to void the contract.
Shehab has had women in the past but none has got to him like Aliyah. He knows she is perfect for him. They attended university together in England and have been friends for a long time. He likes and respects her. She is an engineer and takes part in negotiations between their countries.

The love story of Prince Shehab and Princess Aliyah is definitely a must-read. It is sweet and sensual in many ways.
The chemistry between Shehab and Aliyah is felt from the very beginning. I'd say, Shehab exudes confidence, strength, and masculinity—someone who can make a lot of girls swoon. And oh, he's hot, too!
Also, Aliyah is an epitome of beauty, sexiness, and intelligence. She's the kind of woman you can be really proud of.
I would like to commend the author, Jennifer Jansen, for writing a beautiful friends-to-lovers romance like this. Her inclusion of politics and culture in the story is amazing and very interesting for me.

Now, as he stood in the crowded ceremonial ballroom once more, his stomach clenched knowing that this time he was there to watch Aliyah, the only woman who had fired his blood more than any other, become engaged to another. Shehab steeled himself as he approached the throng of people. The blow that wedged itself deep in his solar plexus was like a force propelling him closer to her. And the man she would eventually marry.

This is the second book I am reading this author and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first book and cant wait to read more books by Ms Jansen. This is the second book in the Desert Desires series but can be read as stand-alone. However I would recommend reading the first book. The story is about Aliyah & Shehab . The story was captivating and characters were well written. I really enjoyed this story and looking fwd to reading the next book in this series .

Desert Desire is an enjoyable sheikh royalty friends to lovers romance between Prince Sheehan Al Sayed and Princess Aliyah Al Massoud who see each other again when two family members marry. Sheehan decides he wants Aliyah as his bride and refuses to accept the wedding contract between Aliyah and another Prince. This book is another enjoyable desert romance.

I loved the way its written. Its very current and witty. It made the story flow in a really fast paced way and I liked it a lot. This is book two in a series but I'd definitely consider reading the next one as I enjoyed both stories very much.

Loved this book! Just as good as the first one only different.
From the first explosive, sensual chapter to the on the edge of your seat meeting to get Aliyah out of the marriage contract, this was a wild ride and a wonderful read.
