3 Miss Ruby Stars ⭐
Thank the lord for hot smutty fiction that provides us with these perverted thrills. Because if this shit happened in real life; like getting it on with your dad's boss at 18, I imagine there would be hell to pay. Yet if daddy kink gets you deliciously flustered, 'Down Under' would be spot on.
"Who needs an absent dad when you can have a dirty Daddy?"
Ruby Clark has travelled all the way to Australia to spend time with her father. But it soon becomes apparent that he has no time for his daughter which is nothing new. Left abandoned in a foreign country Mr Murdoch, her father's boss is more than happy to fulfil the role in his absence. And he’s not backwoods in coming forward.
"Am I that obvious?"
He chuckles. "I'm just that good."

"Discerning people’s hidden desires."
Whilst moving at a quick pace, Mr Murdoch makes it quite clear that what he is looking for is unorthodox and permanent. Ruby will need to unlock a side of herself and embrace all that is being offered…hot, delicious and fulfilling sex with her new daddy to obtain the happiness that’s been missing.
Down Under was enjoyable to read and the writing fluent. But my final thoughts…for heaven’s sake can authors stop with this bullshit love declarations within 24 hours? For fuck sake, I get that some stories are short, but I imagine you would get higher ratings if stories could develop a little more organically. It makes me cringe when this is a trope I adore…

Did I have a great time? Yes.
Will I remember it in a few weeks? I don’t think so.

I went back to Margot Scott because she is my new safe author. I have read three novellas by her, they all have daddy kink, which isn’t my personal favorite, but they are goood, I really like them, and they are always a hit for me.
Did I have a great time? Yes.

This book was utterly ridiculous but I couldn't help but enjoy it. That's fiction for you. Things which are despicable in the least in real life are... not so bad in a book. It's same for me.
I'll try to get back and write a better review for this as soon as I can articulate my thoughts.

Did someone say daddy kink? This is a quick read that has DDLG elements and I enjoyed this for the most part. Yes, it over the top and has insta-love. But that's what makes my heart happy! If these elements are some that you enjoy, then pick this up when it comes out!

I am not a fan of the daddy kink at all but I will def read if this author writes something else. This was a short, sweet and sexy read. I love that we got a pregnancy in the epilogue! I just love epilogues with pregnancy or babies!

Ruby goes to Australia to spend her first year out of high school with his Dad who she haven’t saw in years & doesn’t have a connection or a relationship with , Being there she knows Her Dad Boss Brian and their chemistry is undeniable.
This is one of my favorite Margot books so far , I really like the storyline and love that despite being a short novella it didn’t felt rush at all , I love Ruby character and really hate her dad ,Brian was an incredible Hot , alpha , hero which I cant complain of , Honorable mention to Liz ( the sweetheart PA) I believe she make the book better.
If you are into Daddy kink play, taboo , forbidden, steamy, Short story’s this is the novella for you.

I love the age-gap books and with daddy kink.

Nope, this one wasn’t for me.

I've read books by this author before and I really like her style of writing and this book was awesome too.
Ruby doesn't really have a great relationship with her father in fact it's terrible and nearly non existent but she goes down to Sydney to visit him anyway in the hopes he might want to see her and spend time with her.
Rubys father also works for Brian at the company also.
Brian is the CEO of the and also her father's boss, he's rich, sexy and a really genuine loyal guy.
When he sees Ruby for the first time Brian can't take his eyes of her, shes completely hooked him in.
But is Ruby looking for a relationship or a replacement father figure?
(NO SPOILERS).
This author writes characters fantastically and really knows how to bring them to life for the reader. These characters have an intense amount of chemistry between each other and are really taken with each other. I really enjoyed reading this book and I liked the story line, the only thing I don't like I'd that she calls Brian ' daddy '.
This book is a real quick romance read and a sweet Insta love, if your looking for a hot, steamy, sweet romance then this book is for you.

This is a hot and steamy quick read. Ruby needs an authoritative figure in her life and Brian is more than willing to be just that. I love Margot Scott books and this is yet another scorcher.

We all have something that makes us happy. That makes us feel complete. And we all bring baggage into a relationship. The challenge to find that person who’s baggage matches our own.
The only thing I wish different about this book. I wish it had been just a bit longer to more fully develop the story. Given a little bit more of Brian’s back story. Other than that, it was an enjoyable read.

This is a good, quick read. The characters are surprisingly well rounded for the length of the story. I was sucked in, swept up and spit out with a grin and a HEA. This book is perfect for someone with a "Daddy Itch", but very little time to scratch.

This is not the first not the last book I read by Margot Scott. And although I didn't enjoy this one as much as the other ones by I've read by her it still had its ups and I'm sure someone who enjoys the whole "daddy" fetish would enjoy this much more. Although I don't mind the occasional daddy kink I'm not a fan of taking it to the next level involving the whole... "Play" aspect of it. But I'm not one to judge those who do. So I gave this book a three star rating meaning it's average when to others who are more daddy focused might rate this higher. It is very short only 7chapters but it was very sexy and well written.

I do have to agree with other readers, that I cannot get into the whole Daddy-little girl theme. But as another reviewer stated, its fiction. Plus I like the fact that Brian Murdoch, CEO of the #1 banking firm was smitten with her from the beginning.
Though he says he wants to take care of her. But even in fiction did he not manipulate Ruby's time when giving her father a chance to choose to work on project or dinner with his daughter.
I'm glad they didn't focus on the father & that getting fired actually made him realize that he wasn't there for his family. I would have liked in the Epilogue to have his hobbies falling back in love with his ex- wife.
Now to the sex scenes, hot, sexy & sentimental with commands from both sexes'. I'm glad they focused on Brian admitting he was in love with her & didn't just want to bang her like a slut.
I don't know how I feel to have a play room in the office. To much gossip for the company.
