Mario was dead and my vengeance was achieved. However, the past was still causing problems, namely in the form of the Light Fae. Yeah... them. Remember how I am supposed to be getting married to their True Heir? That wasn't going to happen. I needed to find a solution and fast before my men lost it. That isn't even including all my responsibilities as Queen of a post-war Horde kingdom! How am I supposed to reform such an archaic system?
It seems the new year is going to be a busy one. At least, I have my sexy guard and adopted daughter by my side! There will be a wedding this year but it wasn't going to be with the Light Fae heir…
*Fantasy RH* Our bad*ss heroine and guardians swear a lot. As well, please be advised that the book contains darker themes including assault, PTSD, and violence. Additionally, sexual themes are suitable for mature audiences +18.

To me this book was just an extended epilogue. It did not need to be it's own book IMO. I'm mad we get to know more about Luna and teased of spoilers into her life and series yet there is NO series for her smh. The whole surrounding Luna and her appearance is just weird to me as well. It was cute at the start but it's just so bizarre how she inserts herself into their lives and they all immediately accept being her parents. Um OK, smh! Tamara too was another characters I was like oooh I need to know more and she also doesn't have a series but Vegas does. I dunno but 10 men seems like far too many to me. I'm all about RH but 10? REALLY?!?! I'm kind peeved the cliffy end from the last book ended up being nothing much and the issue resolves itself in two seconds. Needless to say I didn't love this book or the series all that much. It's sad because I did enjoy book one but they felt like they were lacking so much even though the potential was there. The series was definitely not what I was expecting with titles like Psychos and Lunatics. Where were the crazies cuz I am all about that life??? Better yet it still never became 100% clear on who and what Gray was. Sure she was the Fae true heir and supremely powerful but what does that all mean??? Things just didn't feel developed enough for me!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Psychos was the final book of the Vengeance series. Thankfully. I don't think I could handle another book from this because after book 1 - they made zero sense to me. Since it was the shortest book in the series, I dove into this with zero expectations. Everything has sort of been revealed and I either ooh'd or ahh'd to it all. Well, not all of it because I was disappointed by a whole bunch.
Like the fae. I just didn't get the whole point of them. Heck, I didn't get a lot of what went down in this book either. I feel like my brain is melting for all the chaos within this and I need a nap to recover from it all.
Other than that, the ending was kind of cute but I'm just glad that it's finally over and I can move onto another series.
Psychos wraps the Vengeance series up in the perfect way. After dealing with King Mario in 'Monsters', Gray and her men are back in the Horde, but not all drama has settled. The twins's father is not a fan of Gray and the way she rules over the Horde and he's determined to get rid of her. And there's still the matter of her betrothal to deal with.
The plot slows down in pace, giving us time to savour all the characters in this last book. Gray has grown so much throughout this series and while she's still a powerful and strong FMC, she also allows her men to take care of her.
Luna plays a big role in this book and we get an introduction to her story, which will follow in the future. So, while this series is wrapped up, we'll still get our fix of these main characters in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing how Luna wraps her boys around her finger.
Fantastic! Bittersweet because I felt like it ended too soon but I loved seeing Gray with her happy ending. I also cannot wait to read more about Luna!
This was an informative book that tied up all the loose ends leftover from book 3. I ended up reading it alongside The Red Masques Book 5, Dark King, because I was worried about spoilers, especially towards the end of this book. But, it was all good. I didn't need to do that.
Anyway, now I'm looking forward to reading Luna's books whenever that series is released, and of course diving into the remaining books in the Horde Universe. This was a fun series to read.
It was good. I did skim a lot in this book, though.
Overall the series was good and a quick, easy read. I do hope that M Sinclair follows through with Luna's story (as of when I'm writing this review it's been 2.5 years since book 4 was released and I'm not seeing Luna's story in her library so maybe there wasn't enough interest?)
I do have a gripe with this series (beware spoilers)
I'm giving this book a 4 because there is nothing wrong with the writing. However, I had questions about things that made no sense to me. First, in a world that accepts harems as normal, why would homosexuality be a problem? Silas and the prince's relationship should not have been a problem as far as I could tell. Next, if the hoard was comprised of half breeds and other mixed race fae, why would anyone care if someone was human turned mage? The whole point of the hoard was for "other" to have a safe place. That made no sense to me. I also didn't get why it was suggested that women had no importance in fae culture. There were kings and queens. Men and women had magical talent, so why women be considered "less than"? Later in the story we find out that Cordelius? (I can't remember the villains name) went to the light fae kingdom and got the king and queen to rush forward the wedding. These people have magical powers. If Gray can tell truth from lies, wouldn't the king and queen also be able to know they were being lied to? In book 3, why did it take the guys several weeks to get to Gray? I could probably continue with questions, but you get the gist.I did enjoy the story and think it's worth reading. But be aware of things like what I mentioned.
Why did this series need to end! From the beginning of this series I was hooked. Gray was so bad ass and her guys were amazing and so strong. Their unit was so well-crafted it was unbelievable. They were strong separately but they were indestructible together. When I started reading the first page of this final installment I saw Luna and her guys walking behind her, all of them looking like bosses, and I was like, a book with Luna as our main character must happen! I love this ending! And I have to agree with that little girl, Ne-Yo is my favorite as well. I mean I love all of them but my top favorites had to be the twins then A tie between Rhodes and Taylor. It is so sad to see this end! I love the wrapup. This was a phenomenal series. The characters had depth even the side characters and everything was just so vivid that you were drawn into the story. The plot was enthralling. All of the action just kept you so entertained. I’m hoping Luna gets her own series. I would definitely rate the series a 100 if I could. M Sinclair really knows how to create a enrapturing world. Her imagination and writing style is fantastic and completely unique to her. M Sinclair you rock! 😘☺️😆
There were still a few spelling mistakes and such, which does bug me a bit, but the overall story is still awesome.
The only thing about the story itself that had me iffy was Bobby, Gray's familiar. She refers to him as one of her closest friends, and I'm sure most, if not all of us, know what a familiar is. Yet, he's barely in the story at all. He was barely necessary in it at all. He's supposed to help her with her magic and such, yet... he's hardly referenced except in the first book. Even then, it could have just been left as a friend instead of a "familiar". If he was one, you'd think he'd be much more involved in her life, especially with how upset he was over having his memories of her taken away in book 1.
Other than that though, overall, I loved the series and I'd read it again!
Psychos is the final book in Gray’s story. It really wraps up the series for you in a nice little package and sends you on your way home. There’s not a lot of action as the main war is now over and all Gray and her men need to focus on is getting her out of her Light Fae marriage contract and finding that sneaky ba$+ard Colliard, but that’s what makes the story so great!! It’s a sweet story that focuses on the bonds between Gray and the men and you get that super swoon worthy HEA that everyone loves. Oh and I can’t forget sweet little Luna!! She really comes out in this book and she is going to be amazing!!!
If you’ve followed Gray through war, pick up this book and check out her HEA, you won’t regret it.
The ending of Gray and her men’s story was epic! It was everything I could have hoped for and so much more! I loved getting a look at their happily ever after.
This book displayed the ups and downs of everything Gray had to deal with, but no matter what, her men we always a constant, devoted and loving presence. There could be no doubt that Gray and her men were forever.
There was so much to love about this book! But in particular, I loved that not only did Gray and her men get their happily ever after, but so did so many of Gray’s close friends and family. It was absolutely wonderful!
This book put a huge smile on my face! It made me genuinely happy to see so much happiness and goodness come from the chaos in the past.
Love love loved it! Definitely one of my favorite series to date!
Why did it have to end? Omg I kind of sad that I finished the series. It was so good and I hope to see more of them in coming book but I wish this series would go on for a bit longer. Absolutely amazing and I loved how it didn't end after the war like most books does but this entire book was of another conflict that wasn't a war at all but still important. And Luna is a legendary character and takes after her momma so much. Gray is truly awesome and her men are yummy and I'm going to miss them all.
Great end to the series. I love badass FMC's and M Sinclair is great at writing them! Gray is great, she is full of strength and sass and has really fought to work through everything that happened in her past.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this story line and fell in love with the characters. I really like how all the series intertwine.
The added epilogues at various stages in the future really help to show the full scope of how things play out.
I'm looking forward to Lunas series, she sounds likes a firecracker!
I have one major complaint with this series. Well, two major complaints. The first is that it was over too quickly. Not because the story wasn't finished. Everything ends tied up in a beautiful bow, but I had so much fun with these guys that I want more. My second complaint is that there are too many characters whose stories need to be told. I really hope that there are some spin-offs that I haven't discovered yet. This was a wonderful conclusion to Gray's story.
.....for a novella. I really wish this was longer or more fleshed out. This was a novella that tied up all the loose ends in the series. I felt like Gray and her boys deserved better. The plot was good and the characters great but I was kinda expecting more for the finale. I really enjoyed the epilogue but again couldn’t help but wish the story had been fleshed out a bit more. I will say the editing for this book has been the best in the series.
This book was pretty short and ties up loose endings. After the defeat of the Dark King, the only two things left to take care are the wedding with the Light Fae and the to defeat Colliard. There is a little bit more work for Gray to do before she can have her happy ending with her men and daughter.
We also get a preview of Luna's and her guys books, and that's a series that I certainly cannot wait to read.
I recently have discovered this author and I’ve been devouring her books left and right! All of her stories are fantastic including this one. I loved Grey and all of her guys. I love the world and relationship building. I’m looking forward to reading about the other characters in the other series.
I only have one small complaint… the books are really short. I was able to finish the 4 book series in a day. I probably wouldn’t have read these if I didn’t have KU.
Psychos was everything! Drama, happy tears, and giggles rounded out the last book in the Vengeance series. Gray and her men are absolutely perfect together. Each of their personalities just work together to create a family I wish I was a part of. I'd love to see more into their future as a family (beyond the epilogue). I'm also beyond excited to eventually be getting more Luna!
Well this series as a whole was amazing!! I love love LOVE Gray!😍 She is an amazing character strong and confident! I loved the interaction with her guys and how she handles what ever is thrown at her! This book wraps beautifully her journey! I'm sad to let the characters go but loved the journey with them!!!
I love Gray and her Men! This book focuses on what happens after the war. She is still promised to the light heir, but we all know how her men feel about that. 😂 I absolutely loved getting to know Luna better and can't wait for her to have a series! This is the HEA that Gray deserves! I'm just so sad it's over. 😭
I was so surprised about this series. It started off a bit dark but as the series progressed and their relationship grew, what can I say my heart has completely melted. I loved how insane they were! How overprotective and funny they were to each other and the people they loved. All of the action and steam were perfect! Amazing series!!!!
I cannot say how much I loved reading this book. What a fantastic storyline. I loved the story and the characters M.sinclair just has a way with words that keep you captivated. Would highly recommend everyone to read any book by her. I love her style and tje fact the characters from other books come into her other stories.
I am so glad I found this author! Absolutely loved this series and loved Gray! Loved Gray’s men as well, they had such an amazing connection. It was refreshing to have a strong badass FMC! I cannot wait for Luna’s story! She is as feisty, strong, and brave as Gray, her mom! Also was cute to see her already have boys following her around everywhere!
M. Sinclair is probably the most authentic and clever authors in her field, hands down. If you FMCs with sass, class, and smart-ass, along with men who want to throttle them and kiss them simultaneously, any of her books are for you. The Horde/Red Masque groups are by far my favorite and I eat them up as soon as they release! Would give Sinclair 10 stars if I could.
So this is the end of Grays and her men’s story. This book was everything and it was the best way possible to end. The ending was ahhhh I cried like a baby the last half of the book. I can’t wait to continue on with Luna’s story!!
So sad that this story is over but it was a perfect ending! Grey is such a kickass woman and I just loved all the relationships! Can't wait to see her in Vegas and hopefully Nova's books!! Also please give me Luna's book like yesterday!!
Omg so good, I’m sad it’s over but can’t wait for Lunas story!! I read all of this authors books and love every single one! I am anxiously awaiting more books in other series!
