This is a quick read (I read the novella in one sitting!) which focuses on a romance set against all the technology, magic and mega-corporations in the future Seattle of the Shadowrun Universe. I loved how Brozek handles the rules of the Universe as she created a couple of two strong-willed, fun characters, Aldric and Sumiko, that the reader can root for.
