Laurel is part of a group of super naturals that went through training to become Sleepers in a remote location for a secret mission. They don't know where they are going until their training is completed. Laurel is worried when she hears that it is Iceland but manages to make a quick call to her family without anyone knowing before they leave. Once they arrive they begin to work. Laurel starts wondering if the work she is doing is helping the shifters or hurting them worse. This has her take off for a walk and she ends caught in a bear trap. Nicoy and Xander are on their way home when they find her but Xander can tell when she wakes up that she isn't being truthful to them. Is being around them going to put them in danger? Can Laurel make it back before the other find her with the guys?

This is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat because of the drama surrounding everything. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Wolf's Howl
Another great book by Juniper Hart! I couldn't stop reading so I know how it was going to end. The characters fit well together and have amazing chemistry. The story is full of suspense, action, drama and sizzling chemistry.
Laurel had been recruited into a secret progam and trained at the compound for nine months.  She's a sleeper agent and is part of a mission in Iceland to try to get a halt of the hatred between Vamps and shifters. When she's caught in a bear trap she was rescued by Nicoy and Xander. She must maintain all her secrets or her mission fails and her rescuers could die.
This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. Misplaced affection, suspicion and loyalties causes a great deal of pain. I really shed a tear. Will they all revive and get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong? To find out what happens, read the book. You won’t be disappointed.

Laurel is sent to Iceland but while looking for samples she gets caught in a bear trap.
Fox shifter Laurel is one of twelve that survived a nine month course to become sleeper agents. She and wolf shifter are both scientist and both get assigned to Hesteyri in Iceland and will be collecting and studying local plant life and conditions but Laurel has a feeling that something is not right with their assignment. They are accompanied by the leader of the training program Vampire hybrid Anatoli who plans to stay for a couple of weeks. Once they arrive Preston seems to get creepier and Laurel tries to avoid being alone with him then on a trip by herself to collect samples the weather turns bad and as she hastens back she gets caught on a bear trap and passes out. Humans Nicoy and Xander are returning to their cabin when something off to one side catches their attention.

Iceland, midnight sun and romance is beautiful.

"Wolf's Howl" is a short but HOT paranormal romance with just the right splash of mystery and suspense. Juniper Hart has a way with words that makes her settings and characters come alive. Through her writing I flew to Iceland on the back of a dragon where I met a fox shifter and her human fated mate. While I watched they thwarted the evil minion of the Cabal, and sealed their immortal love. My morning flew by as I read page after page ignoring my dogs and husband's demands for attention. (Don't worry! I will make it up to them later!"). My only wish is that the story would never end! I was just getting into it when everything was quickly and satisfactorily resolved. The end came way too soon for my taste. Yet, my household probably appreciates how quickly I returned to reality! Good job, Juniper! I can't wait to check the rest of your books off my wish list!

Wolf’s Howl by Juniper Hart was an exciting foray in to a ‘new’ world of Sleepers, shifters, vampires, demons, witches….the whole gamut of paranormal creatures!!! It’s the story of Laurel and Nicoy. She’s a scientist who’s been trained as a Sleeper. She and a classmate are assigned to Iceland. She is hurt while out and is rescued by Nicoy and Xander. There’s a tumultuous level of danger, betrayal, anger, resentment, hurt, secrecy, and romance!!! Things aren’t what they seem with ANYONE in this story.

It took a bit to understand the setup of the story. Took a little bit, but once I got it…I was fully invested in the story!! This is the first of a new series!!!! Looking forward to more!

Fun reading!

This new book by Juniper Hart has initial low pacing, but it pulls you in and never lets you go. It introduced you to a new shifters’ world where Laurel wanted to help their kind with her intelligence and scientific research, after being training to become a Sleeper for 9 months into an unknown facility. Together with her partner, Preston, they were transferred to Iceland to continue their job. In this new scenario, Lauren unexpectedly found more than she was searching, and now she should fight it for.

Misplaced affections, hidden plot, suspicion, and loyalty are combined within this romance, with well-structured characters, that give unexpected twists and turns. ¡Quick and entertaining reading!

This book took me a little bit to get into. The prologue was a lot and took a moment to sort out the pieces. But once you get into the story, it grabs and keeps you captivated with each turn of the page.

The Wolf's Howl begins the story of the secret shifter sleeper group. In this story there is twist and turns, lies, betrayal, love, commitment and forever.

Laurel and Preston have just gone through 9 months of grueling training, now they are being assigned to Iceland for research. Questions come to Laurel as things continual seem off. While there Laurel finds her mate, but he is human, Preston is not who he seems, and not sure what to make of Anatoli.

This was a fast read that was hard to put down. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

WOLF'S HOWL is another well-written book by Juniper Hart with great characters and an interesting plot. The author melds emotionally charged and danger packed scenes smoothly together for a great read. The many twists and turns still manage to leave room for some mildly steamy scenes.

Laurel was recruited for a secret mission and assigned to a remote location in Iceland. She's beginning to wonder about what she is doing and why. Is she really helping or hurting her fellow shifters? Iceland is gorgeous but it's showing how lonely and dangerous it can be.

When she's caught in a bear trap two men rescue her. She must maintain her all her secrets or her mission fails and her rescuers could die.

This is the first book in a series and sometimes authors spend too much time setting the scene that the story suffers, that does not happen here. The book has some wonderful characters coupled with an intriguing plot.

After training for a secret mission Laural is sent to a remote location in Iceland, which may be lovely but she's starting to wonder if she is helping or hurting her fellow shifters and it's showing! Then she finds herself caught in a bear trap but is thankfully rescued by two men!

Preston and Laurel are part of the Sleeper movement, trying to help the hybrids, but misplaced affection, suspicion and loyalties cause problems for them. The story is emotionally charged, with some unexpected twists, danger and intrigue as well as some steamy scenes.

Laurel has been training with others to become special ops, they are now due to head out on their assignments. Laurel finds out that she will be teamed up with Preston, who she has felt a bit of an attraction to for a while, but unfortunately Anatoli (one of their instructors), is coming along. Laurel is up for some challenges, will things work out as she expected? She gets lost and meets Nicoy and his roommate Xander, will he be just a distraction from her assignment? Or something more? I enjoyed this romance, with its betrayal, suspense and danger. Laurel was easy to like, and she wants to do the right thing and protect others.

First let me say that I normally love everything about Junipers books but this one actually left me confused for a little while I wasn't sure what was going on for the first few chapters but then the book took off and things a\started to make sense So what i am saying is please persevere with this story

Laurel is part of an undercover shifter program sh has been sent to remote Iceland to help other shifters acclimatise but she isn't sure if she is helping or hindering them When she is trapped and rescued by two men she meets Preston and the attraction is instant But like all stories bu Juniper you know that there will drama and confusion between these two You will have to read to see what happens

This book was confusing at the beginning and took a little while to get into. But once it got going, it was good. Laura and Preston are among a small group of shifters who survived months of training for a covert team known as Sleepers. There mission is to unite shifters across the goal, but they're not told much else outside of that. After training, they are sent to Iceland, and their leader Anatoli decides to tag along. Laura is out collecting samples when she's caught in a bear trap and is rescued by Nicoy and Xander. Things take an interesting turn when she returns to work, and she begins to question who can she trust. Very interesting story once you get past the prologue and first few chapters.

Laurel had been recruited into a secret progam, and trained at the compund with preston for nine months. When they are sent as sleepers to iceland, Laurel is found caught in a bear trap by Nicoy and Xander. Anatoli, the witch in charge of their training has come to Iceland with them, and when Preston turns out to be a traitor, She helps to save Laurel's life. Will Preston pay for his treachoery, or will Laurel be deemed to be guilty? Will she be able to stay in Iceland and have a life with Nicoy? What surprises are in store for them both? Loved it!

If you want a romance filled with shifters, danger and emotion, look for Juniper Hart on the cover.

Excellently written to pull t h e reader into another world, this book has a brilliant storyline, enticing characters and a heap load of romance. The book blurb tells you what to expect but does not give away too much detail. What the blurb does say however is accurate, albeit a little over descriptive. The book has some unexpected twists and gives the reader plenty of romance.

A four star recommendation from me.

"Wolf's Howl" is the first book to Juniper Hart's new series "Shifters Confidential". At the beginning of the story, I'll admit, I was more than a bit confused as to what and why things were happening as they were. It rather felt like I had jumped into the middle of a story and had no idea what was going on. And then the pieces started to meld together and form a perfect picture that allowed me to settle into and immerse myself in the angst, drama, confusion, and chemistry. The characters were both loving, intriguing, and sometimes a bit frustrating but that's what made this such a good read. I can't wait to see what comes next.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Wolf's Howl by Juniper Hart is a Shifters Confidential series read. I thought that the story started a little slow for me, but it did pick up and continue to build momentum to a satisfying finish. The characters are interesting and go through growth through the story. While I enjoyed this read, I am looking for more back story on the characters. I am looking forward to the next read in this series to see where it's heading. A fun read that is slightly spicy (Mature Readers Recommended).

Laurel is trained to become a sleeper agent and she is unhappy when she is sent with a colleague to a remote area in Iceland to do research. During an accident during a storm she meets Nocoy and Xander, who rescue her. When she sees her colleague selling research to the enemy, she faces mortal danger.
A thrilling story, building up a little slowly, but picking up pace around the middle of the book.
A kind of romantic thriller, although the romance is a little on the back burner.. An entertaining and enjoyable story to read.

Awesome romance of.a sleeper agent

Laurel is an for shifter scientist sleeper agent trying to make the world a better place. She is assigned to Iceland along with another scientist. When she is injured by a bear trap, she meets Nicoy who is her mate. However, there is something weird going on.

The characters are unique, intriguing, and down to earth. The twist in this fast paced drama is surprising. I like the audience of a group of agents called Sleepers, but the don't explain why they are a secret organization of shifters.

I recommended this book. I am going to read the next in the series.

This wonderfully written book 1 in the Shifter's Confidential Series was intriguing as it had some very well-thought out scenes and story plots. These characters have very strong wills and personalities and their interactions are believable. This wonderful story has the following: intrigue, twists and turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced, good shifter book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. I am will be on the lookout for books and series by this Author

Preston and Laurel are two shifters involved with the Sleeper movement, trying to bring together hybrids.

There is more to their work than renewable energy research. Misplaced affection, suspicion and loyalties cause a great deal of pain, as well as a variety of surprises

Intense action and romance

There is plenty of action in this book and it does not all take place on the research project Preston and Laurel are working on!! The chemistry between them was evident from their initial meeting and it just intensified as the danger around them ratcheted up! A good storyline that was well-written with interesting characters.

Great addition to the Sci-Fi/Paranormal Romance genre!

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created.

The attitudes toward the events that are happening make the story even richer and the characters more relatable.

I have to say I was a little put off by this book, especially at the start. I was very confused why shifters needed to be put together to learn about their worlds and how to live with one another. The more you are reading it gets better, but its the first few chapters that really what draw me in, and this one just didn't do anything for me.

I don't know if this story is a part of a series or not. The first half is like being dropped into the middle of a story. Some of it is missing and then after that the story got really good. The excitement went off the charts. Danger, excitement and a Fox Shifter finding her Mate. I really enjoyed reading this one. Start of a new series and looking good.
Laurel is a sleeper agent and is part of a mission to try and halt the hatred between Vamps and shifters.
Her part of the mission goes to hell in a hand basket and she turns to Nicoy, who is neither vamp nor shifter.
Great read and I loved the sweet ending.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and am happily leaving a review.
