It was hardly surprising that hotel-tycoon-turned-lord-of-the-manor Rex Hilliard should qualify for that description. His arrival in the sleepy English village of Mill Cross certainly caused a stir. Rich, good-looking, charismatic and successful, Rex could have had everyone in the place at his feet. But Kay Tempest had no intention of falling for his charms.
Ok story, not much plot, good minor characters. Good to see the snobby lady’s daughter is nice, not a conniving OW. Last minute black moment added nothing.

Nice quick read. Alpha but sweet male lord of the manor. H is still grieving for her fiance and father. She is a renowned photographer. She works for the H - planning a fair and renovations to the manor house. Not much angst. A few small misunderstandings that are quickly righted. Nice ending.
