A species born to die, and craving a fiery death. Victims of a terrible plague that rots the skin right off the body unless they surround themselves with a sack of embalming fluid which staves off the dread disease. A life spent seeking death by fire, a quick end to their plague-ridden existence. Sorry, the story kept me reading to the end, searching for a meaning. All I got was confusion. Maybe I need a book length story with some squogg history, or a treatise on the plague. If there was a book length tale of Endbreach that explained everything, I don't think I would buy it. Just not enough there.
A masterfully written Sci fi space battle that left me in awe from page one to the final page. It's truths ring loud for the wisdom given. I loved it!!!
