BRONX
He was my best friends' twin brother.
Easton was an anomaly, someone who hid in the shadows, but never hid that well...at least not from me.
Truth or dare is lethal. Add alcohol into the mix and you end up kissing someone you should NEVER be kissing.
For once in my life, everything started to make sense. For once in my life, I felt like I belonged. But, that all changed when the person who opened my eyes ran away and never looked back.
It's a good thing I had a distraction. Being a paramedic firefighter in Ravens Hill was my dream, my passion.
And everything was fine and dandy until a certain twin returned and a mafia boss turns out to be someone I never expected.

EASTON
He was my twin brothers' best friend.
Bronx was out of my league. He was kind, popular and straight...but so was I.
At least that was the case until we shared a kiss after high school graduation.
A mind-blowing kiss that put everything into perspective. A mind-blowing kiss that made me run. I ran away at eighteen to join the Navy SEALs. I vowed I would never look back. I vowed I would never go home. I vowed I would stay away.
I guess my body and mind knew that I was about to get burnt (Maybe not physically) and I needed a firefighter to rescue me.
I would never have guessed that the firefighter in question would be Bronx Turner.

Hhhhmmnnn!!

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. It was very nearly a DNF for me as the poor grammar and editing really wore me down and the constant repeating of sentences for emphasis started to grate on my last nerve towards the end.

It wasn't all bad, the storyline itself was okay, the characters likable enough with a 'baddy' to keep everyone on their toes and the aurora borialis thrown in to illuminate the HEA for the MCs.

Maybe it's because I read this straight off the back of Lily Morton's latest and that's difficult for anyone to follow, but this just felt a little immature to me.

But don't take my word for it, I wouldn't know where to start writing a novel so give it a go, I'm sure there will be plenty who love it.

Easton and Bronx

This friends to lovers and second chance romance book was sweet and hot. Four years after leaving, Easton comes back home even more bruised and broken than when he left. Bronx has his own bruises but when he sees Easton, he knows that his future lies within the bruised SEAL. Both men have a lot of ups and downs throughout the book but eventually find their happily ever after with one another in the sweetest epilogue.

This is the first book in a new series by A.J. Kent. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. It is well written and easy to read. I devoured it all in one sitting! The story starts off with Easton who is the quieter more subdued twin. He always felt like he was overshadowed by his brother and invisible. At a graduation party he gets the dare to kiss Bronx, a football player. They kiss and the world changes for Easton. Easton realizes that he prefers men and that he is gay. Earlier that year another gay boy came out and he was disowned and thrown out of his house by his family. Afraid that something like that would happen to him, Easton runs away from home to find himself and a place where he can shine without the shadow of his brother.

*spoilers*
Fast forward a few years and Easton has made his dream come true. He is a navy SEAL. He is never going back home again. Then on a mission everything changes. He loses his team and ends up with PTSD. He can no longer serve as an active SEAL. The only way he can remain a SEAL is to set up the SEAL training base located near his home town. So he has to go back to the town that he hates, a family that he hasn't seen in years and try to heal from his PTSD. He will also be responsible for setting a training plan for the local fire fighters that the base is going to use as needed.

From the first day when he is dealing with his change in career, reuniting with his family and PTSD; he meets his first childhood crush again. The team leader for the fire fighters and paramedic is no other than his first kiss - Bronx. Bronx had the advantage of knowing that he would be seeing Easton again. The first meeting shakes both of them up. Bronx is a serial dater who has abandonment issues after being adopted at a young age.

The is the story of the ups and downs in their slowly developing relationship. The book has romance and suspense. You will enjoy it cover to cover. I look forward to the next book by this author.

❤💜❤💜🔥🔥A first read for this author and I had my fingers crossed for a goodie.
A fantastic start and I could tell this would be one with emotions.
Easton run away from home only to begrudgingly return 4 years later. This had me glued right from the start with Easton's beginning, Bronx's story was the same. I loved their first meeting lol poor Easton. A fun humorous book that I loved yah I'd advise don't drink coffee with Bronx around. This first half was filled with fun but when yah get to the second half of the book things get serious. This finishes with a HEA. Both POVs are included with 1st person told. This has time jumps back and tells of their past story filling the gaps. WOW Book hang-over alert..

• Bi-sexual MC
• filled with laugh-out-loud moments
• gorgeous chemistry
• lots of steamy sizzles🔥🔥🔥
• a twist in the story..
• threats and danger
• PTSD character. *Warning* this includes horrible scenes of death and miscarriages.

Easton leaving his twin to see the country at 18 yrs was hard. But wanting to join the navy seals he wanted.
4 yrs jump. It was a case of being Commander of seal firefighters going back home or not being a seal.
Bronx was a firefighter paramedic but he'd once kissed Easton.

I could not put this book down. Twins Easton and Elias couldn't be more opposite if they tried. Easton was confused about his sexuality so he ran away and joined to Navy. He also did it to show his family he could do something they'd be proud of. While he was gone for 4 years, things changed with him and the Navy reassigned him to go back home and help out there at the base with the training of the new recruits and the new fire department.
Bronx happens to be on the fire department and was shocked to see Easton there. Easton was the first guy he kissed and really liked it. Easton was shocked to see Bronx. he had always had feelings for Bronx.
Once home Easton told his family that he was GAY and his family was proud he finally told them. He let his feelings known to Bronx and he was more then happy to hear this. Finally Easton and Bronx are happy and let everyone know they are in love. In the mist of all this there is someone who comes in the story that wants to destroy Easton and Bronx. Actually it was like 2 stories in one. I enjoyed it! Cant wait to read more

Absolutely HAWT! I can feel the heat through my kindle. The courtship was like the best executed tango, ever! The inner monologue Bronx endures everytime he is around Easton or leaves Easton is stimulating. Attaining their positions at 22, is a huge stretch of belief for the story. The logistics of Easton joining the SEALS is a bit complex. The return of forgotten relatives, dealing with past tragedies, not communicating add to the intensity of this story. Easton, Elias and Bronx all have heavy baggage they need to set down, open and resolve. The team of firemen is amazing. Easton and Elias parents are great. Will Easton deal with his PTSD? Will Bronx be able to get closure on his past? Will Elias find peace? Great story. I love reading about these guys. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed reading about Bronx and Easton, but the characters and story were off . I loved how the story begins with a single kiss and the jump in time to the men they become because of it. Easton was tired of being the weak twin and is now a Navy SEAL. They are trained to be prepared for any situation and hand to hand survival. However, throughout the book, I never saw this side of him. There is also one man at the center of the suspense, yet he is able to get into places and do things he should not be able to do because of security reasons. Finally, I don't believe an Apple watch is part of any fireman's turnout gear as it would not be able to withstand the heat. I did like the basic story and characters, but it has flaws.

This is a voluntary review of an ARC.

I was very excited about this book after seeing some teasers on instagram and I was not disappointed. I'm always looking for new MM books and AJ Kent is a new author to me.
Easton and Bronx are just perfect and their story is beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. They are broken and damaged and their love is the glue that puts them back together. There were some very sad emotional moments but also funny, sweet and hot hot hot ones:)
This book had it all and I can't wait for the next one in the series!

Good, contemporary M/M romance between childhood ‘fiends.’ This is a best friends’s twin brother, second chance M/M romance. Bronx and Easton have a great dynamic between the two of them and are both strong alpha characters with eyes only for each other. There’s a good amount of steamy scenes, adorable interactions and some shock moments. Looking forward to book two!

I enjoyed this book. There was great chemistry between the two main characters, the story was enjoyable and there was a back story with added drama. I have read this author before and was a little surprised at first to find this book to be a MM romance

M/M isnt usually my jam... but BRONX and EASTON are so awesome together.

Easton is a navy seal who's finally drawn to the last place he want to return to... Home. He fled his home years ago straight after graduation and after sharing a spectacular kiss with none other than Bronx Turner. He kissed a boy and he liked it.

But upon his return, Bronx Turner is all grown up and now Easton and Bronx are thrown together in the new jobs, and the chemistry still burns so bright.

As the story grows, so does their chemistry and passion! Will they get their happily ever after? Read to find out!!! Hanging out for book 2!!!

And remember, it’s just fiction...
