Pen name used by manga-ka Sumomo Yumeka for her predominantly seinen works. Published in the magazines Afternoon (Kodansha), Melody (Shueisha), and Comic Bunch (Shinchosha).
I just don't want when everyone was pushing Masamune to get married and move forward, for his future and for the sake of his daughter, when clearly he's not yet ready. It's also unfair to the woman who'll be getting caught up in this situation if ever Masamune really couldn't let go of Youko. Just leave the man alone.
We start with a nice short little arc where the Dad feels like he can’t give what the child’s Mom gave so she lets her spend time at a laundromat. It’s a nice way to show that even if he is moving forward and becoming “better” as a Dad he still fears he can’t do it all / can’t replace a certain something the Mom has. The daughter’s fears about forgetting her Mom entirely was a really great moment as well. Then right at the end we get some awesome development as the Dad tries to move for both himself and his daughter. I thought this was a great way to begin ending the series. It makes the series as a whole sort of capture the start which I think is the part the mangaka was most interested in telling. This lets them end it on a note of personal growth without extending the series into a longer running one while keeping it poignant.
