The Promised Witch #3

Darkness, Dawn & Fire

Rate this book
Magic is real, and humans all over the world are freaking out.

All witches and Cambions are in grave danger. The angels are gone, the demons held at bay, but humans are united in their fear, and they prove to be the scariest foe of all. There’s nothing they won’t do to eradicate magic.

Harrow suffers from the Imperium Ceremony. Without his powers, he is slowly losing his mind and memory. Hella will risk everything to help him. Hopefully, before it’s too late.

Hella tries to make peace with the humans. If she can’t help them accept magicks, it will mean war on a global scale. Bloody as it would be, magicks should win, but the humans hold a secret: they have powerful weapons that would level the field.

Monsters are not the enemy this time. It’s her town. Her neighbours. Her friends’ parents. She is the reason humans know about magic. They blame her, and she leads the fight against them. Will Hella survive her prophesied fate?

Find out in this epic conclusion to The Promised Witch Series by Dionnara Dawson.

Ok - overall it was the setting being in Australia that pushed it to 4 stars.
I’m still not overly fond of Hella but this was a great ending book to the series. I love Net - he would have to be my favourite. As I have said previously this is a really good series - just personally I really like to connect with the MC and Hella and I just didn’t gel. Which is a great reflection on how well this is written. Kudos Ms Dawson!

Wow. This last book in the series was a whirlwind of emotion and action. Hella tells the world about magic in book 2, but in this book we really see the effects of her actions. This book was a great ending for this series! The characters go through changes and deal with hardships, but through it all keep their friends close. Plenty of action in this book and magic, as well as, adorable Hella and Harrow moments! Also, plenty of Net in tweed (he’s definitely one of my favorite characters). Throw in the Australian military, deme blades, and a happy ending and you get this amazing conclusion to the series. Definitely recommend this series for anyone who is in to magic, fantasy, and action!

Hella's life has been a whirlwind, to say the least, since she found out she was the Promised Witch and this installment was no different. It was super intense and action filled. I wasn't able to put it down because I needed to see how Hella and company were going to get through it all. I love how there is so much character development and a blurred line for many characters between good and evil. Excellent wrap up to the series.
