Third in the Sydney Jones series, One-A Novel via Carolyn M. Bowen is a energizing tireless spine chiller that will keep you as enthusiastic and on edge as ever from without a doubt the principal page.
Sydney Jones, a surge - searching for lawful counselor who isn't hesitant to accept the sorts of cases most by far would sidestep. She is never frightened by any situation or challenge in her life & has reliably been strong and attempting lawful counsel. This time she decides to take her youngster on an excursion in Barbados for a break. Furthermore, out of nowhere her excursion transforms into an examination. In any case, A crime/murder occurs on the island, and she in a little while begins her assessment/examination.

As this is the first book I have read by this author I was not sure what to expect as you just never know when trying a "new to you" author. But once I completed the read I was quite satisfied about my selection.
Although this book is a part of a series it easily can be read as a stand alone,just as I did.
Sydney, the main character, experienced and overcame a huge challenge in this story. It was a great read full of adventure and the unknown was revealed as the story progressed.
My only regret is that I didn’t start the Sydney Jones Series with Book 1.I feel like I now need to catch up and read books 1 and 2.
Being a book of 153 pages i completed the book in just 4 sittings as it was such an interesting one.
The title of the book is based on the context and the cover is beautifully designed.
The book has been written in a very simple manner so that everyone can understand it and does not require any special aid.
The satisfaction you get after the final completion of the story is just incredible, sometimes you are really happy with the ending and sometimes you feel it could have been better but when you will complete this your heart is just satisfied.
THE BOOK IS A MUST READ AND I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!!

One is the third book in the Sydney Jones series, I haven't read the first two books in the series but I directly jumped in this fun and I find it quite interesting right from the very first page. This book is a thrilling read and revolves around Sydney, a character I am extremely fond of when I read it. Sydney's daredevil attitude for taking on legal cases most would run from catches her in a snare. Will she use common sense and leave the past behind or is it too late?

I was so intrigued because of the settings of the storyline and I must say, it's not an usual thriller or an usual detective novel because it is filled with drama and action which keeps it more edgy and sharp. It's a book that has got the potential to bring a chill in the spine of the readers! It has that thrilling legal detective backdrop and something I'd definitely appreciate when it comes to a thriller.

I would say, this book can also be read as a stand alone and if you haven't read the first two books in the series and wish to read this one then also you can start with it. I am sure your going to love Sydney as much as I did because of the uniqueness of her character, which is so strong and full of action. I definitely enjoyed it and will highly recommend it to everyone.

All around created, loaded with activity with interesting account, this dramatic novel is amazingly energizing which was an enjoyment to peruse and had me snared as it so happens.
Sydney Jones, a rush - looking for legal advisor who isn't reluctant to assume the kinds of cases the vast majority would evade.
She is never terrified of any circumstance or challenge in her life. She has consistently been solid and trying legal advisor. She is a genuinely amiable character. This time she chooses to take her child on vacation in Barbados for a break. And suddenly her vacation turns into an investigation. However, A homicide/murder happens on the island, and she before long starts her examination / investigation.
The creator works superbly of pacing the story leaving pieces and morsels for us to follow. Bowen gives a unique consummation signs causing me to accept there's another arrangement in progress. An absolute necessity read for sentimental puzzle darlings.

Sydney, the main character, experienced and overcame a huge challenge in this story. It was a great read full of adventure and the unknown was revealed as the story progressed. This was such an interesting read, especially the tie to the current day COVID-19. I enjoyed the ending and hope that a Book 4 is in the works. My only regret is that I didn’t start the Sydney Jones Series with Book 1. I feel like I have given myself a spoil alert! I now need to catch up and read books 1 and 2.

One is a thriller and that's what I felt from page one. I was keen to know
the end of the story. So, it's a page turner.
You won't stop until you know the end. 😊
Although this book is a part of a series it easily can be read as a stand alone,
just as I did. It was written very well and very fluently.
I also like the characters, they were certainly deepened out! The setting
was amazing too.
To conclude: I recommend this book to people who like thrillers.

I read it once - and then again! This is a complex novel with lots of twists and turns. The highlight of the novel for me was the dramatic conclusion for the series. Yet, the end sparks my attention to a possible new series to follow this one. ONE - Sydney Jones Series #3 is highly recommended and although it may be read as a standalone, I suggest beginning with the first novel in the series to clearly understand and enjoy the lead character -Sydney Jones.

Well crafted, full of action with thought-provoking narrative, this suspenseful novel is extremely exciting which was a delight to read and had me hooked from the get-go.
Our protagonist is Sydney Jones, a thrill-seeking lawyer who isn’t afraid to take on the types of cases most people would avoid. She is a truly likable character who decides to take her son on holiday in Barbados as a much-needed break. As you can imagine, Sydney isn’t the kind of person who lays back and does nothing. She is soon making friends and trying to put her hectic past behind her. However, things soon get heated and trouble soon raises its ugly head, but our hero doesn’t shy away.
We learn that Sydney is a smart, kind, and savvy woman. After a murder occurs on the island, she soon begins to suspect an outsider and not one of the locals. Already targeted by the criminal underworld she can’t help getting involved and Sydney’s life soon takes an astonishing turn.
This is one of a series, but don’t let that put you off. It stands on its own as a truly great book. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it and find yourself caught up in the excitement.
