The Wild Hunt Legacy #5

Healing of the Wolf

Rate this book
A decade in captivity tore away all hope.

But Margery never lost her resolve to help the sick. The village she’d hoped to serve as banfasa, caring for the ill and injured, is long gone. Humans captured the young shifters and killed the adults. Finally rescued, she has a chance at her dreams—at least for meaningful work. With her leg crippled and her face scarred, she knows she has no hope of ever finding love.

Tynan is ready to find their mate.

After years away from his littermate as a police officer among humans, Tynan is finally home, a beta in the wolf pack, and serving his people as a law officer. Assigned as Margery’s mentor in the pack, he patiently works to earn the skittish little wolf’s trust. Her captivity has left her with problems, including a fear of uniforms. But he’s a fixer at heart—and he’s starting to want more from the gentle female than just friendship.

Donal has no intention of making a family.

Separated from his littermate for years, Donal has remained unmated, devoting his energies to healing. Believing ugly rumors about their new neighbor—a banfasa—he won't have her in his clinic or his life—no matter what his newly returned brother wants.

But a feral shifter’s attack on Tynan shows Margery in a whole different light. She’s levelheaded, compassionate, sweet—and far too appealing. What male could resist her?

But even as the brothers work to win their mate, cruel forces move to crush their entire clan.

A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, she’s renowned for writing heart-wrenching romances with laugh-out-loud dialogue, alpha males, and absolutely sizzling sex.

I met my dearheart when vacationing in the Caribbean. Now I won’t say it was love at first sight. Actually since he stood over me, enjoying the view down my swimsuit top, I might have been a tad peeved—as well as attracted. But although we were together less than two days and lived on opposite sides of the country, love can’t be corralled by time or space.

We’ve now been married for many, many years. (And he still looks down my swimsuit tops.)

Nowadays, I live in the west with this obnoxious, beloved husband and a seventy-pound lap-puppy. I’m a gardener, and I love nurturing small plants until they’re big and healthy and productive…and ripping defenseless weeds out by the roots when I’m angry. I enjoy thunderstorms, collecting eggs from the chickens, and visiting the local brewery for the darkest, maltiest beer on tap. My favorite way to spend an evening is curled up on a couch next to the master of my heart, watching the fire, reading, and…well…if you’re reading my books, you obviously know what else happens in front of fires.

A great addition to the series and another shifters' story with fairytale feeling. As every book in this series I knew what to expect, thus this was really a comfort story for me.

“Ah, but she’s a wolf. A sweet little wolf…who likes us both.”

Tynan is a police officer, Donal is a healer and Margery is a banfasa. Tynan needs to find a mate for him and his brother, Donal is suspicious about the honesty of Margery and Margery is only trying to rediscover herself after a cruel childhood.

Happy reading and everybody lived happily ever after.

It had taken him far too long, but he saw her in return. And liked everything he saw.

Cherise Sinclair books are my happy place. Whether she's writing emotionally charged BDSM romance or just as emotionally charged MFM PNR, one thing is guaranteed; I'll be glued to the pages.

If you haven't read her Wild Hunt Legacy series, you, my friend, are seriously missing out. If you're a fan of sexy PNR, I can guarantee this series is as unique as they come. Aside from the sizzle factor of each female getting not one but two alpha male mates, this series also packs one hell of an emotional punch which I've come addicted to.

Margery is a survivor. She's spent years in captivity, surviving unspeakable brutalities and watching her fellow prisoners die at the hands of the vicious shifter hunters, Scythe. When she's finally rescued, she's experiencing a whole new world. She's basically grown up in captivity, so the shifter life and traditions are a foreign concept to her. Margery is so easy to love. There's just something so fierce about her. She's a warrior in her own right. She's survived horrors, but none of it has damaged her caring heart. She's one of the most endearing heroines I've read. She's just impossible not to love. Your heart breaks for her and you can't help but yearn for her HEA.

Tynan is easy to love, too. He's a cop in the human world, and the PTSD of her captivity with the Scythe soldiers makes Margery skittish around men in uniform. Tynan immediately puts her on edge. What I loved about him is just how patient and sweet he was with her. He recognizes her sweet soul right away and a woman that he needs to be with. He patiently waits her out and works through all of her fear and walls. This man was EVERYTHING.

Donal was a bit of a different story. The healer has some misconceptions of Margery that take him some time to work through. These misconceptions make him give her a bit of a cool reception and had me wanting to shake him in parts. However, when he finally sees the errors or his ways, he's one determined man.

I loved the three of them together and I love how Sinclair manages to combine emotion and passion with a sizzling touch. I love this series, and can't recommend it enough for all of my fellow PNR fans out there.

Re-reading this series,i still enjoy every story as much as i did the first time and this was another story i really wanted to walk into and never leave.
Because it feels so good seeing everyone again, being close to that ever growing family of shifters.
Cherise brings them all to life with so much love,so much dedication and it shows.

This time,it’s Margery,a sweet banfasa, that has been a captive of the Scythes for far too long.
Finally being freed, she longs for a good life, one where she feels valued.
Only the first community she lives in,doesn’t....they treat her as dirt!
Ok,so her scars aren’t easy to look at,and she has a limp, but she’s so much more than those!
Lucky for her, she still has one friend that visits her,and when she suggests she leave, she takes that opportunity.
Landing her in a community that is só different......in a good way!

They even asign her a mentor,if only he wasn’t that intimidating....
Tynan is finally home, doing what he needs as beta and law officer.
Finally living with his littermate,Donal.
Both have scars from their past, but are content with their life as it is.
That is....Tynan can’t help but dream of a mate to share with his littermate.
Donal,being the healer,doesn’t think that way,though....
He would love to,but knows one mate won’t be enough to give him the strenght he needs as a healer.

Margery decided to find another purpose, and not be at the mercy of this community without any means of her own like she was before.
So,she takes a job as a waitress, and is happy meeting new people, getting to know them in a good place.
And that grumpy littermate of her mentor may not like her,but she won’t let that get her down!
He has no reason to complain she’s not a good banfasa,because she’s a waitress....right?
Only, when the need arises, she hás to help, and what he sees of her then is not what he heard.
What’s the story there?
Why do the little ones calm within her hold? Why do they seek her out?
And Tynan really seems to like the little wolflet too,so she can’t be thát bad can she?

As he opens up towards her,his littermate is over the moon, knowing they found their mate.
Such a sweet selfless, compassionate and caring mate, and a joy to be with....for both.
Margery groes stronger under their care, physically ánd mentally.
Knowing she ís worthy, and even working with Donal as the banfasa she is at heart.
Giving him the soothing warmth he needs.
And calming his patients with such ease....knowing exactly what they need.

If only her former community would stop being so cruel, and demand she go back to the miserable life she had there.
And if only the enemy didn’t exist....with plans that could mean the death of them all....

Margery was such a sweet girl! With a generous and forgiving heart for those that deserve it.
With a hope for a brighter future, even after all she’d been through.
And Tynan...that wolf is só patient with her,so gentle!
Seeing exactly what her fears are,and doing his best to help her get stronger.
Showing her she’s só much more than her scars, loving her with every fiber of his being.
Donal, that cat is a healer through and through,a grumpy one maybe, but one that has a very large caring heart.
And one that falls, totally and wholeheartedly, for the sweet banfasa he shares with his littermate.
As always,Cherise drew me into their lives from the start and made me love them all!!

Love and laughter, fear and hope, hot sex and mortal danger make Healing of the Wolf one of Cherise Sinclair’s best efforts. In a legacy of books that all rank as 5 stars, this is a notch above.

Margery was rescued from the Scythe Camp when Darcy bought the Cold Creek shifters in as we learned in Leap of the Lion. A banfasa, or nurse, she was able to calm the injured and ill, and she was assigned to the Rainer Territory, where she was treated as a slave. She was given free room and board but had no money, no new clothes and no way to determine her own future. Because of her damaged ankle and messy scars, other shifters sneered at her and took her gifts for granted. Finally deciding this slavery was no better than what the Scythe offered, she heads to a gathering in Cold Creek, determined to leave the Rainer territory behind. She finds a job and moves in next to healer Donal and his brother Tynan, the wolf shifter who spent a decade as a cop in Seattle. Two shifters from her old territory lie about her to Donal and he vows to have nothing to do with her. But she soon proves the lies wrong and both Donal and Tynan find the brave young woman irresistible. But just as the trio start to grow close, a threat from the past arrives. Can the three of them help save their community and find each other?

I loved Margery, her courage, her abilities, her willingness to fight for her happiness. Tynan was a rock from the very beginning, but grumpy cat Donal has to have some things knocked into his head along the way. As always with Cherise Sinclair, the story is harrowing, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat, with an underlying message of hope and love. A really wonderful read.

Cherise Sinclair is often known for her amazing erotic romances and BDSM sex scenes. However, I’ve really come to love her talent for writing emotional love stories and HEALING OF THE WOLF is a perfect example of this.

I completely fell in love with this book. The beginning chapters hooks you right in, making you feel for these characters in a huge way. It’s been a long time since I’ve raved about a book, but this one totally tugged at my heartstrings and made me fall in love. I loved the way Sinclair used emotions in this story. There was a mixture of fear, worry, lust, desire, love, and many more. The range of emotions is incredible and I think she handled the romance perfectly.

Since this is a shifter book, I also think she did a great job of adding the paranormal bits well. There’s a big sense of duty and community in this book and I really liked that aspect because it just adds another dimension and secondary plot to the book.

Sinclair’s writing seems to be getting better and better, so I’m looking forward to seeing what she has planned next for her readers. In the past, I’ve always preferred her BDSM books, but this series is quickly rising. Who knows, maybe one day the shifters will surpass the Doms. I can’t wait to see what Sinclair will do next!

When the Scythe went to Margery's village and made all of the men train as shifter-soldiers for them, the women were held captive by the sadistic humans to ensure the men did what they were told. Margery had given up hope that she and the other would ever be rescued so when she and the others are freed, she is scared and doesn't trust the new people.

The captives were places in different towns so they couldn't be found but the first place she had been put in wasn't a good town and the people didn't really like her or treat her well. So when she was told she could leave and find some place else to live, she did just that. She was wary of the new people even though they seemed friendlier than the last town she had been in.

In the new town she meets some of the men that saved her from captivity and even though they still scare her, she feels something more for at least one of them. Donal and Tynan are brothers and live together very near where she lives in a little house. When Tynan is given the job of being her mentor by the pack alpha, he has mixed feelings about it but he likes her and doesn't like that she's scared of him so he takes on the job.

Once Margery and Tynan become closer and start to have feelings for one another then Donal starts to see that he was wrong about her and comes to like her too. With both men pursuing her at the same time it's only a matter of time before she realizes that both of them want her together. I really thought this was such a great book. It's been a while since I've read a book by this author but I really like her books and this one was no exception.

Cherise Sinclair is a comfort read for me and has been for a long time. When I saw that she was expanding on her shifter/paranormal series, I was very happy to dive in. I liked this triad (and I think most of the pairings in this series are MFM triads and the male MCs are usually related, so there’s that), and I liked the idea of seeing the heroine’s struggle to overcome the abuse suffered through her time at a compound run by the Scythe, physical and psychological scars that gives a depth of emotional development to the overall tale. The overarching storyline that’s expanding with every new book in new and interesting way is what draws me back and it’s still working. Also, the character work is always good, there’s good tension and buildup to the romance. I think the thing that brings my rating down some is that there’s a miracle “fix” at the end that wasn’t necessary and felt ableist. Some folks may appreciate the fairy tale quality to it, so YMMV.

All that said, I did enjoy visiting Cold Creek again and seeing all the shifter triads living and loving and I wouldn’t be adverse to visiting again. If you’re a fan of Ms. Sinclair’s shifter series, you may enjoy this.

I have enjoyed this series, partly because there are a variety of shifters living together, and because the characters spend a good amount of time in their animal forms.

However, this book doesn't maintain the high level of story and character as the previous ones. Even acknowledging that the most recent book (#4) was very exciting and thus taking a step back to regroup might be expected, I felt that these characters were somewhat simplified. The first half was a bit angsty for me, though the final third brought everything back into focus. One important plot item was left unresolved, and the seeds for future stories were planted.

After the first few sex scenes, there were mostly "woke up sore" references. This seems to be a trend in this series. NB: In past books, there were explicit scenes between characters in their shifted form. I think that this is an important inclusion as it shows how completely integrated their two halves are. There are none of those scenes in this book. I have read other comments that these are borderline bestiality, and I strongly disagree.

I really enjoy this shifter world and I will continue to read new installments as they are published.

This series continues to deliver emotional warm fuzzies. Whilst some of the women in this series have been BAMF, Margery is bad-ass in her own quiet way. She may not be able to physically fight, but her ability to fight for survival is impressive. Her innate ability to smooth and her passion to serve others comes through loud and clear. What happened to her as a child is horrendous and for her not to turn into a mindless animal is commendable.

Ms. Sinclair creates a trouble character with hidden depths. Her lack of knowledge of the shifter world places her at a disadvantage as well as makes her an easy target. The way she is treated makes me so mad. Her timidness does not mean she is weak and helpless. She works to overcome her brutally ingrained fear of men in uniform. There are so many positive traits about Margery, I could go on.

As with all Ms. Sinclair's stories, the focal point is the romance. The romantic triad here is not an easy one. I like how there were issues and trust broken had to be rebuilt. I like the conflict between Donal and Margery is so easy to see happen. With Tynan in the dark about the cause of conflict, it makes the story a bit humour if sad.

This rich and magical world of shifters is under constant threat from humans, especially as the world becomes more digitalized. Ms. Sinclair does a lovely job in balancing the good and bad of humans on the shifter world. And also showing how some shifters are just like humans - bad. Being a shifter does not mean they are perfect.

This paranormal romance is recommended to menage readers who enjoy surviving against all odds themes.

• I really liked this book and the characters in it but I thought that there could have been a bit more side characters

• The plot sort of carried on from the last book’s and it was really good; Margery talks about how she went from one cage to another in the beginning but after she learns that she has choice, it gets better; I thought tat the last couple of chapters were really good as things happen between Donal, Margery and Tynan and before that is sorted out, other things happen; I really like how this author writes

• I like how in this whole series the main characters get to know each other and that as the reader you also get to know them; I really liked seeing all the main characters from the other books interacting with each other but the scenes could have been a bit longer; there weren’t many side characters and I thought that there definitely should have been more as Donal is a healer and Margery is a banfasa so they had to interact with lots of people but there weren’t many scenes showing this, especially Margery who was supposed to be looking after some of the cubs as her contribution to the pack

• Heather is a character that is shown in all the books and I really want a book about her; also a book about Darcy’s brothers should be good; I really like this author and I hope that she writes more books that are paranormal

The Delight
We are back in The Wild Hunt universe with a character we rescued in the last book and the brothers who have been parted. A grumpy healer and a protective cop learning to be brothers again and a woman learning how to be a shifter after years of imprisonment. Lots of excitement, love, lust, running, and defending to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Review
Healing of the Wolf starts off in the middle of the rescue mission to retrieve the shifters taken to Scythe Camps years ago. The battle is told from Margery's point of view, with how conditioned she was to being fearful of males with authority, guns, uniforms, etc. We also see just how brave she can be to overcome this fear to offer comfort and care for her fellow shifters.

Now months later, we learn all the shifters were placed in regions all over in a way to protect them from the Scythe that got away but also to relieve the burden of a community taking on all of them. Margery is in the Rainer territory, but she is the only survivor stationed there, and that probably a good thing as it isn't the best place on earth to be. Just a step above the Scythe Camp. Margery is a banfasa, think nurse without any healing powers, but with power to offer calm and comfort. Also, she has a knack for organizing a situation in chaos. Healers are rare, so the Rainer community wants to ensure that Margery will have no place to go, nor is she aware she can leave. Verbally abused and no money, Margery takes Heather right up on attending a Gathering in Cold Creek. (Heather is a single female shifter that is featured in each story.)

Arriving in Cold Creek is a shock to Margery. Everything is so different and wonderful. She gets a job at the local diner, receives a room at a house that needs some TLC, and denies the banfasa side of her nature, associating it with being taken advantage of. Fearful of her neighbors, Tynan the cop and Donal the grumpy healer. Avoiding them seems to be in her best interest. She is also introduced to her pack, causing her dread as she only has Rainer as an example.

Tynan is home with he littermate Donal after years being a cop in the city. Life is good for him even if his brother is a grumpy one. He becomes a deputy, a beta in the pack of wolves, and feels the Mother's love. Sharing a mate with his brother is the one thing that would complete him, but Donal doesn't feel the same way. Attracted to his neighbor, Margery, he realizes she avoids him or freezes when she sees his badge or uniform. Assigned as her mentor, he breaks down the walls she has placed around herself that should not be there.

Being a healer to shifters is a calling, but also one he can choose to give. Donal was trained from an early age to use the Mother's love to heal shifters, but that power is limited, like energy, and can run out if needed in large amounts. Donal mates many women at the Gathering as they can offer him more energy through their mating connection during emergencies. For this purpose, he doesn't believe he can mate just one woman as she wouldn't be able to power him up as say, three women. It doesn't help that he hears lies about Margery being selective with her healing.

The story flows organically throwing tests to each character and allowing their true nature to shine. They learn to look deeper than the skin to the heart inside each. Situations that are funny, some are terrifying and some are just downright sexy. The Gatherings alone give us the sexy times to start these three off to the destiny they are fighting. The Scythe is ever a threat that can't be forgotten or ignored, rearing their head.

We also learn that not each region of the shifters is fair, lovable, or protective. While the Mother chooses the leaders and the calling for her people, she does seem to make some really big mistakes. The cohair for the Rainer region denies to pay for the banfasa, as well as denies her pay for keeping the barracks clean where she lives. He does this to keep her there with no options to leave, but this also no options to buy clothing or personal care products. Basically Margery traded one prison for another, which is totally tragic and a knock upon his character. It also doesn't help that the people in the community aren't much better, often berating her for her injuries and looks. This also seemed to suggest that there just aren't enough good alpha shifters to put in charge. Which is sad. And this isn't the first time this has happened, but in different ways in other stories like Emma's.

The theme of the story is fairness, forgiveness, love, and acceptance. Margery needs to learn her value to the pack, and accept that she is a good person with gifts. Tynan needs to forgive himself for past mistakes, and learn to live in the pack again. He's pretty perfect though :) Donal needs to realize he can't save the world, accept love and be fair to everyone. He kind of has the biggest hurdles to jump through when I thought it would be Margery.

I quite enjoyed this latest installment in The Wild Hunt Legacy, just the itty bitty problem of other regions being idiots and getting the stick out of their asses.

Cherise Sinclair never disappoints

Whether this author takes us to the Shadowlands, Dark Haven, small towns in Alaska or the Washington State wilderness her stories always have wonderful characters, an exciting story and enough conflict and angst to make me turning pages and losing sleep—and that’s a good thing 😁.

The Wild Hunt Legacy series adds another layer with a fantastic world build. I’m just happy there are many interesting side characters who haven’t found their life mates. Yeah! More books in our future 😇.

I should have started this series from the beginning, but I was part of a book discussion and I took a chance. I was confused at first, since a lot of the backstory and other characters were unknown to me.

I liked Margery and her quiet strength. I'm thankful she finally found a town that would respect her. Tynan is a sweetheart and he's drawn to Margery, he wants her but is reluctant to make a commitment because of his brother. I thought Donal was a bit of a jerk at first. He's determined to remain single and keeps pushing his feelings for Margery away. I was so glad when he finally realized all his dreams could come true.

3+ I feel the same way about this book as I did the previous book from this series. The characters are likable, but I never really saw a connection between them. The "steamy" this author usually has between the characters wasn't there for me either. I was almost bored with the development of the characters and the romance happening. The pace of the book seemed too slow too. I still liked it, but I am not sure I would pick it up again.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
I seriously LOVE this series. I love how the series is ever evolving. The addition of the Bad guys who are really bad guys was great reading.
When the book starts, we know Margery has had it rough. To see her fear the good guys saving her but also worry for the young and the hurt lets you see inside her soul. She is blessed with the Mothers Goodness. She truly is a healer in her own right.
When we see her striking out on her own after realizing her new pack was not the right pack for her or any woman, it was great to see her embrace her new life in the Zeb and Shay and Alec and Colum. Plus, revisiting with the old pack pairings is always fun times.
Littlermates and total opposites Donal and Tynan are happy to finally be together again after 10 years. They know they are going to live their life together and Tynan hopes take a mate together. Donal is not so into the whole mate thing. He can’t imagine any women keeping his attention for that long. Plus, all the women are more interested in his title vs the man.
The men see Margery, and both are interested. Unfortunately, Donal takes the word of the wrong people and won’t give her the time of day. Tynan is not as interested in others words and falls head over heals for the stubborn and unsure wolf. When he makes sure to be her mentor, he helps her overcome some deep scars.
As the novel continues, we see Donal realize what an idiot he is and run headfirst into a time with Margery. Tynan and her bond is strong and now she is bonding with the town healer as well.
We see some of her past come into play, more bad guys come, stupid males being stupid, and jealous women causing issues.
I admit I really want a book for Oliver. Margery’s brother seems so lost a good HEA could totally do him well!!

Overall a good story.
I was a bit disappointed in how the action part towards the end felt "hitched-on" to create a bit of action, rather than an integral part of the story. The 'clues' to what was about to happen was all 'told' rather than 'shown', something that the author is very good at.
While Meggie and Tynan was well-written I couldn't quite grasp Donal's character and fully understand him. It's hinted towards the end on his conflict between being a healer and a husband, but before then he comes across as elusive and unpredictable.
Another thing that came across in the novel is that while it's repeated how poorly 'humans' treat their women, but all through this series it's also apparent that the shifters aren't much better. The glaring exception seems to be Calum's territory. It would be nice if the next book in the series took place somewhere else, just to get a better understanding of the whole shifter community, nationally or globally.

Selfless heroine continued to be treated poorly even in the new Hs rekindle their family bond but don't see h's special skills. Loved the grumpy healer finding a scrap of humility and apologising to her. Loved this trio, but some elements of the plot were very silly. Still a good addition to the series.

I have been a long time fan of Cherise Sinclair and was highly anticipating this book.
I absolutely love how Cherise is able to write a hot, steamy, romance book but also include other aspects such as humour, character growth, and relationship growth outside of the lifemate bonds.
The latest installment of The Wild Hunt Legacy was certainly worth waiting for. A book with Donal's storyline was one that I looked forward to ever since the first book came out and it certainly allowed for Donal to be seen in a new and more interesting light. It was certainly a plus to read and fall in love with not only Donal but Tynan was well.
Gave this book 4 star's only because I found that Margery and Darcy were very similar protagonists and some scenes very much reminded me of Leap of the Lion

Heat, love and action

This series left me feeling sad, joyful, happy and anxious and I love it.
I can’t give it enough credit without giving spoilers so I keep it short.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Powerful dialogues and lots of it.
The story comes alive from the first moment. The first sentence is: “All she’d ever wanted was to belong” and that raised my curiosity; belong to who, why, what.....

Characters is coming to life because of the authors writing style, it’s easy to read and has so much feelings in it I’m laughing, crying and living inside the book with them.

I love this series and I’m a sceptical reader of shifters. This is one of the few I really really enjoy reading. I recommend reading in order but it can be read as a standalone.

Now I hope for Heather’s story, she so deserves it. So many secondary characters need to get their stories too 🤩

5 beautiful stars

This shifter series continues to impress with its creative, believable world building and its differences to most other offerings in the genre.

My Favorite Wild Hunt!

I have loved each wild hunt book in the series so far but I truly believe this is my favorite!
It was a pleasure to reconnect with characters I've loved in the past and see the power of love and commitment overcome past and present obstacles and trauma! Love how Margery brought healing to the healer! Loved that Donal doesn't lose his "snark" and we finally got to know Tynan, wow, he was worth the wait!
Charise Sinclair, thank you! I laughed out loud more than once and shed a few tears too! Beautiful story!
Readers :if you haven't read the Wild Hunt series yet, start with book 1, you'd be cheating yourself of a great experience otherwise as each book builds on the others!

I really can’t wait for the next one and I just finished this one!
It’s always fun to think of a woman shortage instead of a man shortage. The author could switch it up and have a strong woman with two submissive men. Heck all the characters are strong take charge characters. Where’s the balance in that?

Absolutely captivating

This book concerns itself with the story of Donal and Tyler. Healer and detective. Brothers reunited in Cold Creek. Their journey to reconnect familial bonds and the interconnecting story of Marjorie, free of the Scythe and learning her way in an unfamiliar world.
The character building is unbelievably realistic and heart rending. We are treated to seeing previous characters continue their own journey in life and the tense build up of Scythe terror. How the shifters of Cold Creek deal with the threat is full of action and emotion.
There is no possible way to make any particular Cold Creek book a favourite but this will be read again and again.
I can't wait to read Patrin and Fell's story, I want Heather to find her lifemates - the hints are there!
There are some sex scenes each of them appropriate and proportionate and loving. Contains MFM so if you are prudish don't buy the book! One of the best love stories I have ever read.

Healing of the Wolf

Cherise Sinclair is another favorite of mine and five stars no less for such an awesome spell bound paranormal story by her is well worth the wait in the series. The characters of Tynan and Donal as littermates finds love with Margery a survivor of a imprison horrific hostage situation just gets better as each chapter unfolds. I recommend Cherise Sinclair books, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve always been a sucker for shifter stories and with this story Cherise Sinclair delivers big time. A combination of wonderful world building, first rate characters, and of course hot, hot, sexy bits, makes for a story you will not want to put down.

The story does involve a ménage so if that is not your thing I would steer clear. The book is also part of a series. It could probably stand alone but you’ll definitely enjoy it more if you start from the beginning.
