I was really excited about reading this novella because Callie and Kayden were the couple that drew me into Sorensen’s writing in the first place, so I’m glad that she had returned to them to give them more of a story.
In this book, we play a bit of catch up with the couple. We start to see where Callie has ended up and also some more of Kayden. It was really fun to be back into their world. I felt like I had gone to visit some friends or something.
Although short, I do think it’s a nice read if you’re missing these characters and world like I am. In my opinion, this series is still Sorensen’s best work, so you should definitely check it out. I would highly suggest reading in order though because although there are different couples, the stories to intersect.

This book makes me regain my confidence over Jessica Sorensen's books again. This is a relief after reading several of her Paranormal Romance books that are so horrible I just want to kill myself. Hope she will have more Regular Romance new releases
First off, you don't have to read her Coincidence Series to read The Coincidence Diaries. Here Callie and Kayden are officially together and trying to navigate life as a couple with Callie in the job world and Kayden in college (I think)
I don't want to give out too much and this book is so short anyway. But I am so looking forward to the next book!!!

I have really liked this series even knowing that it wasn't perfect, but this spin off just feels forced. I was happy with the open ending. Plus the new drama with Kayden's possible father is so ridiculous, I cannot even. Even if it is a short story I don't think I'll read the others.

The worst book ever. It’s like the author felt asleep writing it and decided to publish it exactly where she fell asleep. Makes no sense how it ends and it’s cheesy.

Este es un libro que la autora hizo como un extra para contarnos el futuro de los personajes y su último obstáculo que la vida les pone en el camino. En lo personal todo este libro me ha parecido innecesario a más no poder. No necesitaba que se metieran más dramas en el camino de los que ya tiene la saga principal para volver a abrirme nuevos problemas entre los personajes, porque esto ya ha sido para alargar un poco porque sí.
La trama es innecesaria, yo lo siento pero si me querías contar el futuro de los personajes, méteme un epílogo al final de sus propias historias y me enseñas un poco su futuro, no es necesario un libro entero cargado de drama que se nota se ha sacado de la manga y que no tiene el menor sentido. Todo lo que pasa es porque sí, porque sinceramente nunca han habido pistas de que esas cosas pudieran suceder. Para mí este libro ha sido un añadido innecesario y que la propia saga de cada pareja le da los finales que merecen para cada uno.
Los personajes me han decepcionado muchísimo y eso sí que me ha molestado bastante. Aquí vemos el punto de vista de Kayden y de Callie solamente, pero también tenemos al resto de parejas que iremos viendo sus propios dramas a través de los ojos de ellos dos. En este libro han logrado que me moleste con Kayden y con Callie muchísimo, que su relación se me haga super absurda y que nada de lo que ocurre tiene sentido con cómo son ellos. El romance ha sido un despropósito, reacciones de niños pequeños, una falta de comunicación absurda cuando siempre se han hablado las cosas y demasiado drama para mí.
La pluma de la autora no me ha gustado en este libro. Sí que puedo decir que es amena como todos sus libros de la saga, pero la falta de emociones y el drama excesivo me ha llegado hasta a levantar dolor de cabeza. Sinceramente, no lo recomiendo si queréis mantener el cariño hacia las parejas intacto y no exasperaros de más con todos ellos (porque aquí todos pegan un cambio de personalidad bastante absurdo).
Ahora os hablaré un poco de los personajes principales.
Por un lado tenemos a Callie, nuestra protagonista femenina. Ella es una chica que ha retomado una nueva vida al lado de Kayden, viviendo juntos y empezando de cero lejos de todo aquello que alguna vez los hirió de forma inevitable. Ahora, sin embargo, Callie debe hacer frente a un nuevo desafío y es que va a empezar un nuevo trabajo que puede darle todo aquello que siempre ha necesitado: emoción, intensidad y la posibilidad de cambiar las cosas con sus escritos. Sin embargo, el nuevo oficio que le espera tiene un tema que la golpea en lo personal y que puede ser aquello que la haga volver a mirar de frente a su pasado, a esa Callie asustada a la que rompieron en miles de pedazos. Además, Kayden está pasando un mal momento y Callie quiere ser lo bastante fuerte para sostenerlo, para enfrentar juntos los nuevos obstáculos que llegan a sus vidas, sobre todo ahora que su nuevo trabajo puede hacer peligrar un poco su vida de forma irremediable. ¿Podrán ser felices a pesar de todo ello? Y, lo más importante, ¿estará su amor lo bastante preparado para afrontar el desafío que supone todo lo que está a punto de suceder?
Callie es un personaje que siempre me ha gustado y que es algo que nunca cambió sin importar el hecho de que bajo mi punto de vista esta saga fue demasiado larga. Sin embargo, el problema de esto último es que cuando estiras demasiado el chicle puedes causar que pierdas de vista cómo era el personaje que manejabas y la historia e intensidad que llevaba detrás. Y eso es precisamente lo que me ha pasado con Callie, que he dejado de sentirla en este último libro como llevaba sin pasarme en toda la saga. Todo lo que sufre, las emociones que carga, su herida, pasó por mi mente de forma muy frívola, diría que hasta superficial, porque no ahondaban en ella. Además que los conflictos en los que se mete o la situación que está haciendo peligrar su vida me parece un tanto radical. Es decir, entiendo la intención del personaje para hacer eso y lo que la impulsa a ello, pero creo que hay una gran diferencia entre hacer lo correcto y hacer las cosas de forma impulsivas y sin pensar. Callie hacía lo segundo y yo lo siento, pero aunque sus acciones son nobles, eso no me quita que haciendo tales cosas solo iba a provocar que la matasen o le pasase algo peor. Corres peligro y te puede pasar algo, pues es tan sencillo como seguir con ello pero buscar otros métodos o protegerte o lo que sea, pero no ser una completa kamikaze y tener dos dedos de frente para variar.
Por otro lado tenemos a Kayden, nuestro protagonista masculino. Él es un chico que desde que dio el paso de vivir con Callie, por fin empieza a sentir que su vida vuelve a tomar un camino más o menos estable. Las cicatrices siguen estando ahí y hay veces que escuecen, pero teniendo a Callie a su lado siente que es capaz de avanzar cada día un pasito más. Sin embargo, todo eso cambia de un día a otro con la aparición de un hombre que le confiesa que su padre le ha contratado para encontrarle, algo que no tiene sentido tomando en cuenta que este está muerto. Pero todo da un giro de ciento ochenta grados cuando el desconocido le confiesa que aquel hombre que llamaba padre y el cual hizo de su vida un infierno, no era su verdadero padre, sino que el auténtico siempre ha estado ausente por motivos que no logra comprender. Kayden siente que las heridas vuelven a abrirse y el miedo a todo lo desconocido que empieza a asomar a su vida le golpea con mucha fuerza junto a todas las preguntas que desbordan en su cabeza. Lo único que no puede dejar de pensar es: ¿Quién es realmente su padre y estará preparado para afrontarlo si resulta ser igual de mala persona que el hombre con el que estuvo toda su infancia viviendo?
Kayden es un personaje que siempre fue mi favorito después de Seth y Greyson, me parecía un protagonista muy humano, con una herida muy dolorosa pero humana que me hacía empatizar con él y todo lo que estaba cargando por dentro. Al igual que con Callie, he dejado de sentir a Kayden en este libro y os juro que siento mucha rabia de que me haya pasado esto y, sobre todo, de que la autora decidiera alargar más estos libros y provocar esto. Ya no solo es que provocase que los personajes sean planos y no te transmitan nada, no, es que también decidió que era buena idea hacer a Kayden un imbécil integral. ¿En qué momento de la saga Kayden ha sido una persona poco comunicativa? De Luke me lo espero, de Kayden no. Una cosa es que le costase decirlo, porque eso también le pasaba a Callie y a todos y es una reacción totalmente humana y normal, pero si el personaje SIEMPRE lo cuenta todo sin importar la situación, no puedes coger y con toda la cara del mundo meterme un drama de falta de comunicación cuando Callie y Kayden SIEMPRE se han dicho las cosas sin importar lo horrible que esa noticia fuera. Y ya ni vamos a hablar de que aquí nos meten una acción de Kayden totalmente innecesaria y estúpida, pero que jamás sería algo que el propio personaje haría. La conclusión es que si queréis tener en estima a este personaje y seguir queriéndolo, por favor, dejad la historia después del séptimo libro con Seth y Greyson.
En resumen, "The Evermore of Callie and Kayden" es el extra final de una saga que para mí gusto se ha alargado demasiado y con este libro me lo han terminado de reafirmar. De verdad que este ha sido un extra innecesario, solo para reabrir dramas nuevos y así alargar la saga. La trama ha sido un despropósito, todo lo que he podido querer a los personajes, aquí se los cargan a todos de una forma surrealista. Hay sucesos que ocurren que no tienen el menor sentido, sobre todo dramas que aparecen de la nada cuando en ningún momento te han dado una sola pista de que eso pudiera ser posible. Se nota que se han sacado los sucesos de este libro de la manga para sacar otro libro más porque sí, porque sinceramente parece un libro hecho a las prisas. Los personajes han sido otra decepción más y esta parte sí que me ha dolido bastante. Aquí nos narrarán Callie y Kayden pero también tendremos de secundarios a las demás parejas, de quienes sabremos sus vidas a través de los puntos de vista de la pareja principal. Todo lo que hacen, cómo actuan, la manera de reaccionar a las cosas, ha sido un horror. Porque yo no estaba leyendo a los personajes que conocí en la saga principal, estaba leyendo a otros totalmente opuestos. Me meten un drama de falta de comunicación entre Callie y Kayden cuando ellos SIEMPRE han hablado las cosas sin importar lo que fuera. Me metes un drama con Kayden que NO tiene sentido, por mucho que me lo quieras justificar con diálogos internos del protagonista y sus dudas existencias, NO tiene lógica que de repente suceda eso tomando en cuenta todo lo que pasa en libros anteriores y que NUNCA ha habido una reacción o gesto que pudiera intuir que eso es así. La pluma de la autora ha sido muy simple también, lo único bueno es lo ameno que resulta leerla siempre en todos sus libros, pero el exceso de drama ha hecho que la historia se me hiciera muy cuesta arriba y que se me atragantase todo el rato.

I can't tell you how disappointed i am with this 'book'. Callie & Kayden are my favourite couple ever, i have loved every single book with them in it but this? This 90 page effort felt forced, rushed, pointless and i felt that neither character were who they were or who they had been for the previous 3+ years we have known them. Their relationship was forced "you're amazing, thank you for being here for me", "no, you're amazing, thank *you for being there for *me"!! This wasn't how their relationship was.
The dad storyline and the Jason one too for that matter is just unnecessary drama - all we want is a HEA on how Callie and Kayden are doing.
Im so pissed off right now. Im going to pretend I've not read this and wipe it from my memory.

4.5 stars. Loved catching up with Callie and Kayden! They are so adorable and lovable as a couple and absolutely perfect for each other. I've seen Callie and Kayden save each other so many times and provide unconditional support for the other. Callie is interested in taking on a new job offer while Kayden is learning something new about his past. This is only a small portion of the larger story looming ahead, so I'm anxious to find out what happens next.

On one hand, Callie and Kayden were one of the first NA couples I'd ever read, and I love them to this day. Every once in awhile I like to revisit their books because I think they had a really beautiful, albeit dark, story and connection. I was pleased with the way things had been left in book 3, but I absolutely would not mind a continuation if Sorensen has more plot to reveal.
However, I'm a little confused about Sorensen's decision to split up the rest of the story into little novellas instead of one full-lengthed novel. Evermore , for example, is just barely a novella, which would be fine if it's only purpose was to update readers on what their future together looks like - except it seems to be exposing new threads and storylines that were otherwise closed in previous books. I'm also not quite sure how effective it will be to get Luke and Violet's narration in the next ones as well, considering how Luke and Kayden barely keep up with each other's lives. I'm just sort of confused how this is going to pan out??

I don’t know about any of you but I was beyond excited when I saw that Jessica Sorensen decided to do a new novella series for the couple. I missed them so much and I love that we get to see what happened to the couple after the end of the last series. They have been through so much in the last three books that I want to make sure that they turned out ok.
In this book Callie is trying to make a name for herself in the writing world but the job that she gets is not what she expected and know she is knee deep in a dangerous world. The question will be how far will she go for the job before it become to much.
And Kayden. This boy has been through so much and the hits just keep coming. Once again he is pulled in to another drama of his family and he doesn’t know what to make of it. There is a big cliffhanger at the end and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.
In this book Callie is trying to make a name for herself in the writing world but the job that she gets is not what she expected and know she is knee deep in a dangerous world. The question will be how far will she go for the job before it become to much.
And Kayden. This boy has been through so much and the hits just keep coming. Once again he is pulled in to another drama of his family and he doesn’t know what to make of it. There is a big cliffhanger at the end and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.

For 2.99 not worth it at all. Love Callie and Kayden but not this at all. Only reason I have 2 stars because I still like Callie & Kayden. I was really excited when I saw we are getting more of them I one clicked. Now I want my time and money back but can't. If you have seen the movie Breakfast Club one of my favorite 80 classic. I know probably made myself real old. Anyways there is scene when the Actor Judd Nelson is making fun of the Actor Anthony Michael Halls family if you seen this you know what I'm talking about. He explains how Anthony's characters family normal life goes and ends it with how I felt while I was reading this. I want Jessica to stop ruining one of my favorite couples.

Who is Kayden's father?
Could Kayden's birth father be tied up in the Mob? Is that why his mom, said that he was a monster? I bet that Kayden's teammate Jason, is the investing and raping all the girl's?!!! What is Callie getting into with her new job? What's going on with Luke? Is he an informant for the Campus Police or the FBI?!!

Meh. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed this story and loved the new direction that Jessica Sorensen was trying to take but it was left with too many unanswered questions. If you are going to do something like this there needs to be a follow up. Hopefully there will be more books in the near future.

Ok so after reading the other 3 amazing works of art on Callie and Kayden.. thinking this was my favorite author and I couldn't get enough of this couple. Her writing was just perfect for their story and sobbing through emotion and love and all the feels these books left me with, I am so disappointed....
Reading this novella has left me feeling like the author didnt care. Its messy and doesnt feel like the same person wrote those other 3 well written books. I feel annoyed and angry.
There are several annoying errors in it for one. Just a few examples
1. they are going Halloween coatume shopping and then seth mentions he wants to look good for summer break However its football season
2.Callie says shes a sophomore but yet her and Kayden are both in the same grade then Kayden mentions hes almost 22? She was also a sophomore back in the last book and mentions Halloween shopping has become a tradition but yet she was a sophomore for that too :(
This needs to be finished. you cant add this as the final " novella " after all the heartache and drama these characters went through all the books we as readers put our time into loving these characters and that's the end ? That he would really ever for a moment think to leave C and leave his football career. ?
My heart hurts and really wish I didnt see this on goodreads as another part of the CK series. I could have ended my last CK books with my heart full and have had my HEA. Inside I'm sad and completely disappointed by the author...
Is there going to be more ? this can NOT Be how this amazingly perfect couple will end. This seemed like a tease for an actual book? Not sure why this wasnt an entire book. UGh.

So far seems to be the start to something
This book was ok what little bit it had, it just wasn’t 100% enough for me. I’m not saying I didn’t like it, because I did. It’s just that it gives you a start to something good and then that’s it. Like a preview to what’s to come. Jessica keeps writing a lot of these short stories “novellas” when to me it would be more better as a full length book. Why keep writing short pieces, when you could just write a whole book? Plus how do you keep track of everything when your constantly writing “different” novellas basically at the same times.
Anyways I’m not saying I don’t like Jessica’s writing because I do like a lot of her books. Especially my favorite, the coincidence series with Callie and kayden. I just wish she would go back to writing more book, books instead of so many split up short stories. Dedicate to one real book, series at a time.

I am a huge fan of Callie and Kayden’s story and when I saw that there was yet ANOTHER story about them, I was apprehensive, yet hopeful that it would be good.
The Coincidence Diaries is not. This novella is a part of a novella bundle and is about 95 pages. Nothing happens in this book, except setting up the scene for things to come. Drama, drama, drama. For two people who were hurt and destroyed in the previous books, then found their way to happiness and some form of contentment, to see them suddenly being thrown back into confusion, hurt and pain is upsetting.
I also think the storyline’s that are being used are unoriginal and repetitive. A secret dad? An affair? Come on. Leave Callie and Kayden alone and all the others too.
I won’t be reading any more of this, and seriously suggest if you like these books to not read this novella.

I loved the C&K books. This was the series that got me into Jessica Sorensen, however, this novella (if you can call it that) was such a huge disappointment. I like that she was trying to bring in some new drama but absolutely nothing gets resolved and really, nothing even happens in this book. It just ends. Like, literally ends - to the point that I thought I didn't have the entire book and was missing pages. It made no sense. I feel like reading this book was just a waste of time and money. There was way too much "He's my person", "I love him so much" "I know you're always there for me" blah blah. Yes, we know that already... next.

Wow. I loved this series. Just don’t even bother with this one. The ending is a horrible cliffhanger and if they had a release date on the next book, then fine but I don’t see ANYTHING about a future book. It’s just annoying and frustrating. With these novellas usually they’re released close together or they have SOME resolution at the end. When I got to the last few pages, I knew nothing would be resolved or cleared up. Totally unnecessary drama (and I love angst, but this isn’t angst…this is crazy convoluted story lines). Until the rest of the novellas come out (IF they ever do) just don’t bother.
I read this book for free with KU, otherwise I’d be asking for a refund.

This felt like a bad fan fiction with no resolution. I saw it was published in 2017. Wow it's been... 5 years and there's no next book to end the drama in this book?

Wow, just wow! Great book but I hate the cliffhanger ending. Kayden and Callie have had so much grief in their lives. To finally think things are going well and have this happen is devastating. I hope there’s another book to follow this one soon.
