This book was assigned reading for my ECON 101 class. While I did learn quite a few things from reading the book, I found more than once finding the disjointedness of the composition to be a bother. I read one review where the guy said that Carson and Cleveland were trying to spread their 'religious right worldview.' However, if he had read further than the first chapter he would have found that scripture plays a small part in this book. I think he had something more against Christianity than this book.
Anyway, if you can get past the somewhat disjointedness of the writing and seeing a bit of Bible verse does not set your eyes to flame, then this book will teach you somewhat about Economics.
