I’m done making deals with the Council. I’m done playing nice.
We now know who the Collector is, but he may as well be smoke in the wind. Catching him seems to be impossible. Even with Wyatt in custody.
Callan keeps telling me to be patient. He’s always been my rock through this, but will it be enough? Will he be enough?
Visions of death haunt me every waking hour, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that my visions have never been wrong.
Everything I’ve seen has come to pass . . .
But how do I stop it when the person I foresee bringing death and destruction is me?
Pink Witch is the third and final book in the House of Magic series, an Enemies-to-Lovers Paranormal Romance with humor and some steam. This series must be read in order.
It contains a spitfire heroine and a strong Alpha male who protects and respects his woman. If you can't get enough of Jaymin Eve, Avery Song, Leia Stone, Kel Carpenter, Lucia Ashta, Linsey Hall, and Sadie Moss then one-click now because you won't want to miss this one!
She writes about alpha males, badass women, and the magical worlds they inhabit. She lives on the gulf coast with her husband, adorable—though potentially part demon—children, and furbabies of all sizes. When she’s not writing, she is likely buried in a book, soaking in the sun, and eating tacos.
If you’d like to keep up with her new releases, please follow her on Amazon because she’s antisocial and doesn’t want to join social media. However, she is always happy to hear from adoring fans at authorarielhunter@gmail.com. She promises to try her very best to respond.
Pink witch is amazing! The conclusion to this series! So many twists and turns and wow shocker moments 😱 you wont know what hit you! I loved it! Marnie keeps struggling with her powers but this time is personal. She gets knock down by the collector and the madness that everyone fears will devour her has her seeing red! The collector gets the upper hand and all hell breaks loose! Must read! #Marnie&Callen#Zilla&AnyaBFFS#PinkWichRocks
I don't think I've ever finished a series with this many near-DNF moments. There is a decent story at the core of this, but the execution of the whole series is very messy. From the author seemingly forgetting previous plot details, to making it paradoxically both predictable (due to tropyness) and filled with deus ex machina (due to a lack of decent foreshadowing). The romance is bland, the MC and the love interest are both deeply inconsistent with behavior seemingly driven by story necessity rather than character, and the bad guy is infuriatingly cartoonish. Add to that the often cringe-worthy and seemingly un-revised (to say nothing about actual editing) dialogue. The BFF relationship and the familiar kept me forcing my way through the story more than anything.
I'm honestly a bit disappointed. This series had potential. I don't think the author is necessarily bad at her job, the whole thing just felt... Unfinished. Like it needed another revision or two to smooth it out and fill in the details. I know, books are never finished, only abandoned, but I feel that this series was abandoned prematurely. Afaik, the author is independently published, and sadly, I believe that is part of the reason for the quality. Not that independent authors are in any way worse than industry authors, but they often have to push out books faster and with less revision, and often without the support of professional editing. This series feels exactly as if it was written under intense time pressure and without the support of professional editing.
I probably would not have read this series at all if I hadn't been such a mentally tiring week. I needed something simple and this series fit the bill. Just...nothing stands out.
The main character has a close friend only she's kinda obsessed about keeping her safe. To a weird extent.
The male lead is someone she initially rejected because he was being forced on her. I had a real problem with him being assigned as her teacher since teachers seducing their students is a not ok scenario in this day and age. He, however, seemed like he turned out to be pretty nice guy.
The magic system is boring and I got rather tired of all the mentions of pink and whatever magic since it mostly seemed to be focused on how much power you have.
Honestly, the thing I enjoyed most about this series was that she liked surfing and she found time to still do it both with her friend and others. Surfing really didn't matter at all to the magical community, but it mattered to her.
Sadly, would not recommend this series though. Just not enough of anything to stand out and too simplistic.
The final book in the house of magic trilogy... read the other two first! Marnie is beginning to hold her own with her pink power, but the collector is still after her, and he will use everyone she loves to do so!
This final book in the trilogy, shows Marnie finally accepting who she is, and the final showdown with the collector. It’s been quite the rollercoaster ride, with a few massive surprises along the way, and the romance with Callum heats up a lot!
This is the third book in the series. Book one and two are a must read otherwise you’ll be lost. This series is too amazing for that so read book one and two.
I feel like all I do with this author is repeat myself, but she’s done it again! She has written a the third book in the series that’s absolutely amazing. It’s written beautifully and sucks you in. I can literally see myself right there with the characters who’ve I’ve grown to love. It’s written beautifully and flows easily. It’s a fast paced read and impossible to put down.
The characters are back and better than ever! If that’s even possible. I absolutely love the growth these characters face and overcome. They are such an amazing bunch. This story is a ruined packed with a little bit of everything. You won’t regret reading this amazing series!!
I absolutely loved this final book in the house of magic series. Marnie and Cal just shone right from the start. I loved the plot developments and eventual completion. There was plenty of action, suspense and heat to the story, giving it a balanced structure and keeps you engaged from the start. I'm sad to see the story finish but what a ride it was! What a unique and exciting series!
I hate it when a series ends, usually they don't end they way I'd like and I'm left disappointed. That's not the case with this book. It's written so well and the character progression from the first two books is a pleasure to read. I really enjoyed not only this book but the two previous books in this series.
Unfortunately, this series never grew out of it's juvenile state, ending with overplayed tropes and no real emotional sincerity from the protagonist (other than the bitterness shown in the first book and the best friend dynamic). I've said it in the previous reviews, but Anya was the runaway best character of the series.
I was so dang excited to get the last book in this series. It was everything I'd thought it'd be and so much more. They are still trying to figure out how to stop the collector and more. Just really enjoyed this series and characters a lot.
At least this story ended happily. The reading along the way was rough, but it won't deter me from reading other work by this author should it come across my social media feed again.
I couldn’t even make it through the first chapter. After being drawn in, I wanted to read the epilogue, at least, to see if Marnie’s vision came true and that wasn’t even in the epilogue. Glad I didn’t try to power through.
This was an amazing series. I’m going to miss Marnie, Anya and Callan. It was sad and funny. I wish there was more. Thank you Ariel for an amazing series.
