A fae queen that’s tired of running. A wolf shifter looking to fight back. And a king that will bring the magical world to its knees.

Farrah
I don’t know where Wyatt and I stand. Yet what I do know is that war is coming—and if I don’t stop it, the supernatural world will never be the same.
The Fae King and his armies are spreading across the land. To defeat him, I’ll have to make an alliance with my enemies, the Bonecrown Coven. They’re willing to help me kill the King if I promise myself as a sacrifice for their dark magic afterward.
Everything seems bleak, and we’re desperate. This is our last chance to save the magical realm. But I don’t know if Wyatt and I can save each other.

Wyatt
I’ve made mistakes, and I can’t take them back. The worst of my bad decisions cost me my mate—and I’ll do whatever it takes to get her back.
But to keep her safe, I’ll have to destroy the demon I made a deal with long ago… and help Farrah bring down the worst villain the supernatural world has ever known. I’m willing to put everything on the line to make sure Farrah comes out of this alive.

Even my own life.

The epic last installment in Farrah and Wyatt’s tale, THE BLOOD PACT is a paranormal love story filled with fae, adventure, and forbidden romance. This is an urban fantasy series for the ages!

The Blood Pact is book nine in Juliana Haygert’s Rite World series and book three in Farrah and Wyatt’s spin-off story. This is their final story and I had high expectations for this book. The shadow fae prince has been killed, Farrah is free from him, but she is far from being out of danger. The shadow fae King has now come to the Earth realm and he is intent on reaping revenge for the death of his son. He’s creating imbalance in the world in his quest to destroy everything, and the time to fight is at hand. Wyatt and Farrah both make decisions that could end up forever tearing them apart, but only Fate will know whether they make it out in the end to have their happily-ever-after.
The Blood Pact picks up where the last book left off with Farrah sneaking away after once again being reunited with Wyatt. She has an agenda and it seems that others have the same thought process as her. The Bonecrown witches don’t take long finding her and Farrah uses her new stronger powers as a bargaining chip…not to save herself…but to save all those that she can. Wyatt has the same thought process…but his take a darker route in comparison to Farrah because he’ll do anything to save his mate…even it costs him his life.
This book has it’s good moments and it’s pit falls. The storyline is engaging from the point of view of learning what is going to happen next and what path is Fate going to lead Farrah and Wyatt down. Things begin to move a bit quickly in this book and it gives me the sense that it is shorter than book eight and book seven. I like that old and familiar characters make appearances in this book again and that they typically show up either quickly or just in the nick of time.
I have to admit though that I’m a bit disappointed with this book. I was expecting a big fight between all the characters as they come together against the Shadow Fae King, but it’s over pretty quickly. Things end up feeling really anti-climactic. With the hint dropped about the future with the mirror earlier in the book I was hoping that we might get an epilogue at the end, but we don’t. So for me, the book just feels unfinished. I will say that I am curious to see if Ariella will get her own story so that we can learn what becomes of her.
All in all, I am choosing to rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. This book answers some questions, creates some situations that are taken care of in the story, but leaves me feeling like the story isn’t truly finished and that some scenes weren’t fully fleshed out. It’s good, but I just feel that it could have been better with a little more time writing.

This is one epic finale for this trilogy out of the set of nine and it’s just wow! Carrying on from the previous book we just plunge straight into the story and do not come up for air till the very end! A lot comes to light and questions are answered, there’s twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat a d the world, holding is just incredible! I have been captivated with this series from the very start and have loved reading Wyatt and Farrah’s story in this last three books and I also love the way previous characters pop in and help out! All in all a series I would highly recommend!

LOVE! What a great ending to this series. I have read the series from the very beginnings and loved every minute of it. It was a nice ending for these 2 and I am glad that the series has developed like it did. ❤

The Blood Pact is the ninth book in the Rite World Universe by Juliana Haygert - which is a captivating, interconnected tapestry of paranormal romance and fantasy adventure. And rather than being a single series, it’s a shared world where multiple storylines - each with its own MCs, conflicts, and romances – all woven together amongst plenty of supernatural intrigue.
What makes this universe stand out is the huge variety of supernatural beings -vampires, witches, shifters, angels, and more – who are all coexisting in a world that feels both magical and dangerous. Ms. Haygert has a knack for blending fast-paced action with plenty of emotional depth, ensuring that battles and betrayals are balanced by heartfelt relationships and the character’s personal growth.
While each series within the universe can be enjoyed on its own, reading them all offers a rewarding sense of continuity and layered worldbuilding.
So, if you enjoy supernatural worlds with high stakes, sizzling romance, and characters you’ll want to follow on any adventure, then this universe is a binge-worthy contender.
Happy Reading…

One of the fun things about Juliana Haygert’s Rite World series is how it keep reinventing itself with new sub-series set in the same superbly constructed universe. The result is keeping the benefit of all that imaginative world-building while refreshing things with new starting characters and plot lines. The latest of these started with The Wolf Forsaken, the first book in her new Rite of the Wolf series (and 7th book overall in the Rite World series). I loved the start of Farrah and Wyatt’s story there (which I separately reviewed), and I pretty much binge read through the next two books, The Fae Bound and The Blood Pact (Rite World Books 8&9; Rite of the Wolf Books 2&3). Wolves, fae, demons and witches, oh my! More importantly: superb writing, fantastic plots that take you places unexpected but totally grand, and total fun. These books were an addictive blast and are easy to (highly) recommend.

**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

I absolutely loved Wyatt and Farrah in the other series and was so excited they were getting their own spin off! This book was so captivating and thrilling. From the start, I couldn’t put the book down!

Farrah has quite the past and everything that could have popped up did! This book picks up right where the last one left off and wow! This book had even more twists and angst than the other books in the series!

I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

This is the last book for Wyatt and Farrah, and maybe the last book in the whole series. Regardless, it was amazing!
From phenomenal world building to thrilling storyline and plot, to a cast of characters that you want to read again and again!
Epically magical and dangerously fun!

The Blood Pact

Once again I think it could have been a bit longer and still recommend that you read it and all the others. Onto the next because I'm hooked and need to know more.
