Avoiding magical politics was so much easier before Freya started dating the heir to the Demon throne...
Of course, it would be even easier if her best friend hadn't also started working for the Council of Light to track down someone who could potentially replace him while acting as their puppet.
Being caught between both sides was exhausting, especially when Freya lets slip a secret that could bring everything crashing down...
PRINCESS is the tenth book in the Freya Snow series.
Some say she's an ancient creature of nightmare that was unleashed from beneath the ocean, come to devour the souls of men. Others say that she's a cosmic being from the beyond the stars that has taken corporeal form to learn our ways for some unknown end...
In truth, L.C. Mawson lives in a tower in the middle of a haunted forest, far from civilisation and is definitely not a witch who curses those who trespass upon her land. And she definitely cannot turn into a dragon that flies over cities in the dead of night and whose cries are often mistaken for an approaching storm. Where did you hear that? That's absurd...
The only contact she has with humanity is publishing books every so often, which is definitely just for fun and not part of an ancient contract with a trickster god.
This book carries on the relationship between Freya and Damon, but switches between the story of both Queen Freya in the Underworld and Freya on Earth and how actions have to take place in one world to ensure the right thing happens in the other.
The two Freya’s’ share a link through the Shadow Realm when Earth Freya sleeps and the Underworld Freya tries to pass information of what is needed to be done.
We find out so much more of both Freya’s and Damon’s relationships as well as the rest of their close friends and associates.
Our Freya still has challenges to overcome and meets with a new opponent that will take more than just her skills and knowledge to defeat.
Another great read in the Freya Snow series and can’t wait to see what happens between the two worlds and with all the main characters. The interlinked side stories, with the Engineered series and all the Aspect stories are great additions to the Snow series and make for fantastic reading as well.
I would thoroughly recommend all of this authors books to all !
I received a free copy of this book from the author and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Freya has been enjoying her relationship with her Soulbound, Damon. She has been able to reconnect with Damon's relatives and spend time with her best friend Sarah, who has also found her Soulbound. Damon spent some time in the Underworld while they were separated, and Freya finds out that she has a lot of news to catch up on. This leads to her deciding to research her heritage again, and possibly go into the Underworld to find her father. Doing so reveals more secrets about her past.
My favorite part of this story was not the main plot but seeing Freya's relationship with Damon repeat itself. I loved him and his family in the earlier books and how accepting they were of Freya, so seeing them again almost felt like a family reunion.
I don't want to spoil anything, so I am going to leave it here, but there are definitely some important twists that I absolutely loved.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a series featuring a diverse group of characters and an addicting plot.
I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.
This is a fabulous series. Full of action, adventure, thrills and, yes, romance. Princess is a great addition. Our kick-a** heroine, the eponymous Freya Snow, is back in the full swing of things, finally accepting that she’s a Dark Angel, looking into her family history and developing her relationship with (yummy) Soulbound Damon. It’s nice to see Frey’s bestie Sarah growing with her Soulbound too.
Wonderful plot, lead and supporting characters, world-building and writing. What more could you ask for?
I immensely enjoyed this book. I adore the entire series, but this book was particularly captivating, as I got to see Freya finally start to piece things together about her heritage and her place in the world. I love Freya, and I can’t wait to see her figure out more and find where she belongs. In addition, I cannot praise the worldbuilding of this series enough; it remains interesting and enjoyable, even ten books in. I highly recommend this book.

Great story. Fantastic characters. Wonderful intrigues.
Freya is such a delightful mix of what? That's a really hard question. She's funny and doar. She's arrogant and naive. She's strong and weak. She pushes her friends away to protect them. But, she will stand by and defend a friend through any threat. Freya's personality makes the story more real, more believable, more human.
I was provided this book as an ARC by the author; however, the review is my honest opinion.
This is my honest and unbias opinion of the story. This is book #10 in the series and it just blows my mind away on how good these stories keep getting beter. I am so in love with this series can't wait to read the next book of the series. I highly recommend this and the whole series to everyoneand you need to read these in order.
I received Princess by L.C. Mawson as an ARC to read for my honest opinion. I enjoyed all the action that was packed into this book. The love between Freya and Damon just seems to keep growing. I can't wait to read what the next chapter holds for Freya and her friends.
Both the relationship between Freya and Damon, and the non-stop action were highlights of this book for me. Good tight writing, a compelling story, and the maturing relationships of Freya with both Damon and her cadre of magical friends make this a welcome addition to the series.
This was another great read that explored the relationship with Freya and Damon and also introduced a new setting that is the underworld and all the politics that comes along with it.
This latest instalment in the Freya Snow series follows Freya as she comes to terms with her relationship with Damon, her Dark Angel status, and discovers who her father could truly be. But will she accept it enough to finally go to the Underworld? And what is the mysterious new creature that is attempting to kill her? I really enjoy these books, and this one is no exception. The only slightly negative thing I would say about it (and the reason it lost a * for me) is that it does sometimes feel like things are a bit drawn out at times - why is there a whole book here where she's essentially just on earth doing very little but deciding whether to go to the Underworld? However, despite that, it is well-written and full of great characters (including appearances from characters from the Almosts Trilogy!), and I did enjoy reading it. I'm just looking forward to more action in the next book! NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions
The Freya Snow saga continues.Freya is finally coming to accept who she really is.However, it opens the door to potential danger as she starts to look into her past. What will happen next?Another can't put down read.
Princess by L.C. Mawson was thrilling and action packed. It seemed liked it was stretched to much because of foreshadowing. Overall it was good and I would recommend this book to any that loves to read about witchcraft. Ireceived an ARC to read for my honest opinion.
