About the author

Stein Willard

Born and bred in Windhoek, Namibia, Stein has considerable experience in the media field and has worked as a journalist, TV producer, and PR consultant before starting her own small media production company. Her hobbies include writing, reading, cooking, travelling, photography, and scouting the airwaves for new music and watching soccer.
The thirty five year old Stein started writing at the age of thirteen after feeling cheated by the ending of a novel she was reading. She took the novel and rewrote it from the ending back to the front, adding 200 more pages to it. Since then she's only written in her native language, Afrikaans, a derivation of the Dutch language. Throughout her high school career, she 'lended' out her work to fellow boarding school students at a fee and made a killing writing love stories for couples on Valentine's Day.
Not a native English speaker she decided to experiment in 2007 by writing a few short stories in English, which since has been kept password-protected on her hard drive never to see the light of day. By pure accident, she came across platforms on the internet to publish her work and was encouraged by a friend to try and post some of her stories.
Stein still resides in Windhoek.

Hlif Svendson…

is worth it all. She is the reason why this tale was so wonderful! Someone that brave, bold, and beautiful defying all Gods and all odds for your love is beyond imagination. She deserves it all and more.

I’m not sure what it is about the version that they find millennia to come but they’re quite watered down. Perhaps to show a difference of being the same but not the same? Gurith was mighty and intense. Just as intense as Hlif, if not more. I found it lacking in Bo. She didn’t seem all that worthy in a way to be the object of this formidable desire and attention.

Now Margarethe on the other hand was powerfully unforgettable. She was bold, defiant, courageous, intelligent and appeared stoically emotional. From first meet she pulled in your attention and held onto it. She is everything I wished I could be. Saying what you mean and meaning what you say no matter what or when. She just gets to the crux of the matter. And I was surprised by Lisa Vaughn in more ways than one. I’d like to know more about this.

We kept getting these teasers from Maxima one of the 3-stones. It would be nice to hear more about them getting together. What they would uncover. And why what was happening with Maxima a huge deal. It was a question I had in the last book when Maxima brought up certain questions. I’d like to know as well.

Seeing as this is the last book in the series, we may never know if there is some correlation on why these 3 women. And what happened now to the once accursed? What happens to their supposedly “mortal” mates?

Shatterproof: Book 3 (Stone Warrior Series)

This being the third book of the series , hopefully there will be more stories about these three warriors and the partners.
The third Stone Warrior story was about Hlif a demi for who fell in love with a mortal Queen Gurith, Odin was not amused and banished Hllif to become a mortal and be turned to stone during the day. This is a fantastic story and worth reading like the two before.
Stein Willard did another awersome job writing this story and looking forward to reading more by her.
Why five stars because this was a well written despite one or two tiny errors in it. Recommend -- Definitely.
