Needing a break from the Long Lonely Road series I had decided to write a stand alone and this is the results. it had the usual crash and parts of the old west and a small bit of modern day things. I like the characters and if you folks like it I might do another one. Please let me know in a review, even a one word review if fine "Good or Bad".. TJ
Who knew you had something new and yet so reminiscent of Slade and TLRH in you. And I'm also reminded of some of you're earlier books as well. Is this the start of yet another series? We can only hope.
Loved the characters and situations kept the flow going. I always liked a good western where the good guy wins and gets the girl. Or in this situation the girls. Dude you write the best stories! Can't wait for the next one.
This author has a gift for writing for common folks. I will read anything that he writes. The stories flow naturally. They are like a good James Bond movie, don't go looking for deep hidden meaning, just enjoy the show.
Another Great Book, TJ is the best storyteller out there today! His Characters are the best. They make you feel like you are right there with them. You can almost smell the Gunsmoke! Keep it up TJ keep them coming!
Great read and an interesting twist on the western genre
I gave this story 5 stars be cause it is unique in it's a blending of western and post apocalyptic fiction with interesting historical firearm trivia and frontier survival and the anecdotes cracked me up
Do it some more please, mister? Ya know they'd gotta have a passel of littl-uns! And maybe save their folks from train barons trying to take their home an their wimmenfolk...I I did like the story. Truly.
The story was cute, written like a journal which explains the one dimensional story and characters. At the beginning there was a dig at Democrats and liberals, keep that to yourself.
Enjoyed this book. Liked the combination of apocalyptic and old West genres. Got a chuckle over the "railroad comin' in" . The only thing missing was the town drunk. (Rustler's Rhapsody is of my favorite movies.) Thanks, TH for another fun read!
This is an excellent take on a western in modern times. Two boys set off home for the first time and soon become men and the rest is history and great story.
I had read other books with Post Fall turning into something out of Zane Grey or L’Amour. This is a nice quick read and avoids the trap of turning into a Duck and foxtrot. Will have to try a couple more.
I loved the books I have read all 3 of them. They are very entertaining the only problem was the proof readers and editors did a poor job of proofing...
It was an ok read.Everything was just too cut and dried. They killed the outlaws and had the pretty girls and life was just hunky dory. Good to kill some time.
