It was my lot in life to be the confidant and best friend but never the love interest. It was something that had marked my entire romantic history. A great guy would become interested; we would go out a few times, and then the story would come out. He had someone else he was attracted to, and although I was beautiful and sweet, he needed to be with her.
What if, like all the others before him, David gets tired of me. He was a lawyer in New York, how long before he gets tired of our little town and wants that life back? I know deep down that he is right that if we are to have a relationship, I need to trust him. It is a hard thing for me to do, and I am not sure I am up to it. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Stacy is making a life for herself in Silver Springs and her florist shop is flourishing the only thing that is missing in her life is someone to share it with, her relationship history is a disaster. Whenever she meets a man they get along until a better model comes along and suddenly they are better off as friends. But when she meets David Shaw she can feel that things could be different with him but will he be able to resist the temptation of the sophisticated Angelique or should she end things before her heart gets broken again?
Davis Shaw knew that the time had come to move from the hustle and bustle of New York and set down roots somewhere he can build a life and have a family, especially as three of his brother had found lobe in Silver Springs he was hoping to find his happily ever after just as his brothers had. It’s when he meets Stacy the curvy florist from Petals and Stems that he realises that he has found the woman meant for him but she has reservations and can’t trust in his love for her. Had he made a mistake by falling for the florist or will she realise that they can have a future that she only dreamed of?
I am loving these Shaw brothers and this book was sweet and sad at the same time I wanted to hug Stacy as she really couldn’t see her worth and if I am honest I thought that David lacked a little understanding but if you are a fan of quick, easy and ultimately sweet reads then give this series a try. 3.8* read

This is another fast fun read that takes less than an hour and is the story of the fourth Shaw brother who finds a new home in Silver Springs
David is the hot shot New York lawyer who has decided he wants the quite life so like his brothers he has come to Silver Springs and maybe like his brothers he could find love here. Stacy is the local flower shop owner she had a few dates with Patrick one of the Shaw brothers but at the time he realised that he in fact loved his nurse wasn't that the story of her life. The attraction when David and Stacy meet at a BBQ is instant but Stacy still believes he will leave her like everyone else does When he delivers an ultimatum will it break then completely or make Stacy face her fears.

Loved this
Brilliant third book of the series. David has moved to silver springs for a slower pace of life and open his own law firm there. Casey finds difficult to trust men then David walks into her life but her insecurities about him really wanting her ends up with her running away from David. All David can don is wait and see if Casey starts to trust him after two weeks apart Stacey comes to his work and tells him she believes in him and loves him. David waits to see if Casey will stand up for herself when the realtor comes in and says she has plans with David and Casey tells her how it is with David and her.

David came home to Silver Spring to build a future. He finds Stacy compatible and loving. Stacy has heavy baggage from past issues. She also has trust issues. David confronts her and provides options. Stacy is a bit needy. Can they reach common ground? Will Stacey find her confidence? David is ready to invest and settle down. Nice story. An entertaining, well written, emotionally deep, and engaging book four in the Shaw Brothers series! There are insecurities, trust issues, and a roller coaster of other emotions highlighted in this short page turner to keep you interested from start to finish. The characters you will love and root for; the chemistry between them is amazing. I loved it!

Great sweet story. David moves back to town and he meets Stacy. David and Stacy really hit it off but Stacy has been hurt so many times that she has trust issues. Angelique puts a damper on David and Stacy's relationship so Stacy has to go do some soul searching. Love the ending. You'll understand when you read this story about the hidden spitfire. When David meets and has a chance to speak with Stacy, it’s a case of insta-love. Their story is sweet and romantic though they have to work through Stacy’s insecurities and a meddling townsperson. This story was sweet, romantic and definitely worth the read!

Stacy has been unlucky in love and finally finds someone to show her she’s worth it. Her insecurities get in the way however. I loved how she finally stood up for herself but I did have a hard time buying the fact that David told her what he did so soon into the relationship. Seemed somewhat unrealistic considering they had just started dating.

Another good book
I love series stories. This series is about 5 brothers finding their loves when they move back to their hometown. I've enjoyed each and every story. I have more more book to read ands then I will be sad for a while, I will miss all of them. Now, on to Kevin's story. Thanks for such good short stories. Written by Cindy :)

Sweet Interesting Story
I liked the characters David and Stacey, they were kind and caring about their work and family. The flow of the writing was a little stiff in places but overall a good read.
