I was their payment on a debt…and they were my salvation. My Vampires dragged me from the river and brought me back to life, and In turn I saved the one man who gave his life for me...my bodyguard.
Only to save him will be to turn him into the monster he despises.
With Unseelie Fae blood in his veins Russell locks himself away until danger comes for me once more.
I vowed revenge on those who tried to destroy us.
I’ll make them pay with five merciless Immortals at my side.
Because to them, I’m not a possession…to them I am forever.
Ok I really don’t know where this is going and I really don’t feel the need to find out. 5 guys hot for you and you love them all...but you belong to one? I am confused and then you keep adding more men, it’s like The whole world wants to be with her. DONE
Ugh.. it's just to much angst in this book and this series to continue to read. I'm not in the mood for it anymore.. I did like storyline but there where just to many other factors that got on my last nerve... I just can't read the next book of this series... Nope not happening!
I give this a 2.5 stars for effort. The book was difficult to read. I had enjoyed the first book but not this one. The FMC was too weak and whined too much. I tried but had to stop at 36% since I was tired of reading about the FMC 's constant self loathing, fear of everything, and just total weakness. She was nothing like in the first book. At least in the first book, she had some balls even if it wasn't all the time. I do understand some PTSD when a person has had trauma in their life but (the first 36% that I read in this book) for that to cover a third of the book, it does not make me want to read the other 2/3. I just couldn't stomach anymore reading.
Hopefully others were able to find enjoyment where I just couldn't. Kudos to those that can!
Book: Vampires Sin Read By: Ebook and Audio Author: Atlas Rose and Kim Faulks Narrator: Cheryl May Genre: Reverse Harem, Paranormal Romance Main Characters: Ruth, Harrow, Russell, Elithian, Justice and Rule Recommend: Yes Spice: 🌶️️ 🌶️️ 🌶️️ Age recommendation: 16-30+ Years My feelings:
Ok ok ok…. Now this was better then the first book, but I also disliked more.
“A real woman can do it all by herself, Ruth. But a real fucking man won’t let her.”
Ok so loved the relationship they started to develop, I love the way they all fuss over her and do everything for her. I love how its all panning out, and how there is still some mystery with Alex.
“Darkness swallowed me, like the sun was snatched away in the afternoon of the day. Tires howled as the car was shoved sideways”
What I didnt like was the way Russell was treated, and was hardly int he book, also how we get no back story on the 4 vampires…. I need to know about justice eye, and why Elithain is the boss, and gets her to himself but allows the others to have her but its like he runs the show…..??
“I can smell him all over you. I can feel him moving in, slipping under your skin…piercing your veins to travel to your heart. Just remember, you are first and foremost…mine.”
Maybe all tis will be answered the book 3?
"We’d feast on his blood…and later, when I fucked Ruth in my bed, I’d kiss her…and let her taste his death on my tongue.”
Still loved it, the writing style manages to consume me and keep me so captivated that I end up reading it al in one go.

What a ride! I love how both this book and the first has someone yelling ‘Ruth, run!’ at the end. Talk about a bombshell. I never saw that coming. I am so hyped up over this series! I couldn’t read/listen fast enough it was so good. Yet, I wanted to savor it and not let it end. Russell is so freaking amazing! Although we didn’t get a whole lot of him, we will next book. I think. I hope. There’s so much happening. If you haven’t read the first one, do now. This is one series that needs to be read in order.
Ruth is like a different person now with all that has happened. I love her. I liked her before but now I love her. You will be blown away by Russell. I cringed for him at first but also was all dreamy. Alex is MIA, but don’t worry, he will turn up. I have to say, this is up there with the BDB. In fact, I think I like this series better.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.
Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
I thought the first book in the Mafia Monsters series was great, let me tell you the second book, Vampire's Sin, is off the charts. I loved, loved, this book and I am dying for more.
Vampire's Sin picks up right where Vampire's Kiss left off, with Ruth surrounded around her vampires after a devastating betrayal. In this story, Ruth is trying to pull herself back together after some pretty traumatizing stuff. She is not the same woman from the first book, in so many ways she is broken and is trying to build herself anew, and build something with her vampires. Ruth is pretty tough and seeing her fight all the damage that inflicted upon her is more proof of how strong she is but she's learning with her vampires that unlike before she isn't alone.
I loved the guys, all of the guys, I don't think I've seen a more perfect harem and when it comes to guys, I am so jealous of Ruth. I loved seeing them with Ruth, how they respond to her, and are helping her to heal. They are protective of her but want her to know she stills has control over her life, they support her while also treasuring her and that was really great to see. This time around the guys have more chapters and I loved seeing things from their point of view it just adds that something extra to the story, to see how they think, how they feel, and how deep their devotion goes.
The story has an excellent balance between relationships representation and storyline. The story was able to focus on the relationships Ruth has but also brought forth new information about the supernatural, and gave a closer look at the other supernaturals that were mentioned in the first book. An unexpected character for me was Arren, he has made his appearance again, I gotta say I love the werewolf and I hope to see him more of him in the series.
Vampire's Sin had me hooked from moment one, I read this book in one sitting and it was everything. There was a mystery, self-discovery, steam, relationship drama, family drama, and so much more. I have theories and I have questions that I can't wait to get the answers to. Once again the book ended with a huge shock and I am so excited for the next book, I just finished Vampire's Sin and it's already torture waiting for the next book Vampire's Promise, I can't wait to see how Ruth's story concludes.
I was scared this second book would be as boring as the first one, but thank God it wasn't! I couldn't put it down!
I have to say, Ruth is a lot less annoying than she was in book #1 (she's still annoying sometimes but she's okay now). She has to deal with what Alexander put her through and I felt like Elithien was not patient enough with her. Dude, she f*cking died and you're here telling her that she has to break the chains or whatever? Let her breathe!
Justice, my love, still my favorite. So possessive! I also feel like Rule and Hurrow are kind of put aside. And now that Russel is in (my second favorite), I'm scared they will not have their moments... Elithien is getting on my nerves. He's all about Ruth telling him everything but he hides so much from her, he hid Russel's "condition", and now he's hiding Alexander's capture. The guy f*cking killed her, she lives in fear of that guy every second, she has the right to know what is happening! Also, I feel like we know everything about Ruth and nothing about the guys. There is not one thing about their pasts, it's just... blank.
I know, once again, it seems like I didn't like the book but I promise you I did. And diving in book #3 right now!
Atlas Rose has done it again in this part two of the Mafia Monster Series! Continuing Ruth, Elithien, Harrow, Justice and Rules story having been brought back from the brink of death Ruth has only one things she asks of her Vampires that is to bring back her body guard Russel life no matter the cost. Being brought back as an unseelie Russel struggles to control himself but thats the least of his worries as he finds himself deeply rooted with feelings for Ruth like never before but he doesnt trust himself around her. Elithien, Hurrow, Justice and Rule having Ruth back is everything for them but shes not the same women she was before. Ruth stuggles with the change the fact she died and no has nothing left but the fight in her still remains she wants whats her and with her vampires and bodyguard by her side she can break the chains and become invincible. This story has everything your emotions are taken for a whirlwind spin that never ends (and who wants it to any way) your gripped to every page in this desire fueled, steamingly sensual mafia romance! cant wait for part 3!

Ruth has a hard time come back from her what happened to her. She is not the same woman she was. She is stuck in fear and terror. Ruth is also worried about Russell. Ruth wants to make sure he survived. Ruth has a long recovery to make. Her four vampires do everything they can to make her feel safe. Ruth will come to realize that she is no longer the woman she was. She will have to confront her past. Ruth is tired of hearing she can't see Russell. She goes to see him, but they won't let her. Ruth is taken home to her men. They realize she will not stop until she can see him for herself. Ruth is not prepared to see what Russell is now. When Ruth's life in a danger again, they realized that only one person they can trust. But it will be a hard road for all of them.
This was a good book, you will enjoy the story. there are some steamy scenes. I also didn't go into much detail of story, don't want to spoil it. The only thing is the focus of Ruth's recovery went on for most of the book. It really picks up at the end. Looking forward to the next book though.

I love this series and omg! The hottest sex scenes I have ever read in any vampire romance books...actually most books don't have a burn to them like these books do. Nothing is rushed the scenes unfold and the sensuality of it pulls you in slowly and deeper and deeper you go, just like Ruth feels so do you reading these scenes. Then there's the scenes where she's fighting all the crap that happens to her! She's a tough woman but man she also struggles and has to fight her way back. I think the only downfall is its dragging out now a bit. It really is becoming a bit too much of one bad event after another. However its not enough to talk anything away from this very well written book. This is the second and read them in order or you'll be lost. It's a really different kind of Vampire book. Multiple partners ohhhh yes! Now Russell is back and baddest of the baddest! So glad he's returned and he's so hot! Read these books and I bought them because I know once is not enough with Atlas Rose and Kim Faulks well I'm looking up more of hers next! Readers your Kindle will burn with this one! Lol
I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is book 2 in a series and you need to read the previous book first. This is a paranormal mafia reverse harem story.
Triggers: flashbacks to the attack on Ruth and Russell, some violence
Spoilers: This book takes up right right where the first one ends.
Ruth, human, daughter of a mafia guy who died. Almost killed by her ex who was out to destroy her.
Elithien, Hurrow, Rule and Justice are her Vampire lovers. They each care for her in their own way. Elithien is top Alpha of this group.
Russell, Ruth's bodyguard. He was dying after the attack by Ruth's ex. Ruth begs her Vampires to save him.
Like the first book, it's a bit long and rambly. With 4 lovers, you would expect more sexy time. There are brief moments, individually with each guy but mostly it's all with Elithien. The characters seem better developed. I even like Ruth in this one. Ends abruptly on a cliffhanger.
Ooh I’ve been waiting for this and it didn’t disappoint!
I actually enjoyed the fact that Ruth didn’t just get over what happened to her at the end of Book 1, and she had to fight her way out of the dark place it had left her. Sometimes authors make things happen and then within 10 pages, their heroine is fighting fit again, both mentally and physically. This book shows Ruth’s growth and development. It also shows the relationship with her Vampires’ growth too.
I love How, by the end she had found herself and developed as a character. I felt she was no longer less than her Vampires’ but had developed an inner strength, and that they had also developed a new level of respect. I can’t wait to see where Book 3 takes her.
I love the writing of both these authors and together they are dynamite. I’m so looking forward to the other stories in this series and am happy Book 3 is only a few weeks away! Can’t wait for the Wolves and Fae stories too. So addictive!
Holy plot twist! . The suspense has definitely leveled up in this book. This was an amazing sequel. . I’ve loved going on this ride. The original plot line is great. The new interpretation of a vampire and other beings is a definite welcome and blending it with the dark and gritty mafia world is awesome. . I gotta say Justice is definitely my favourite. All the characters are awesome but justice definitely stands out for me. What we thought was happening wasn’t always the case in this book and I loved how the authors sound that. Classic misdirection. . I enjoyed watching the characters grow as the plot did. I’m here all the way for Ruth’s journey in reclaiming herself and her life. Watching how she accepts that you can’t just pick up where things left off and her adapting to her new normal is relatable with how 2020 has been so far. . I cannot wait to see how their journey continues in the next book as new players are added and more secrets and mysteries get unraveled.
I have re-written this review a dozen times as I struggled to find the 'right' words and/or the best adjectives that will propel you to start this series. While reading the first book 'Vampire's Kiss,' I was swept into a breathtakingly deviant world where the mafia and the supernatural were 'bed-fellows,' backstabbing, deceit, and treachery were regular occurrences amongst family; and four brooding, sexy, dangerous, alpha vampires who obsessively desire and protect their feisty, fierce, and feared daughter of THE mob boss. With this newest addition, 'Vampire's Sin,' I too, have become obsessed with its characters, its twists, and turns, its thirst for vengeance, and the expressions of 'un-dying' love; engulfing this entire book in one sitting. In fact, stop whatever you are reading and purchase the two books I've mentioned above; you won't be disappointed!!!!!!
This is a continuation from the first book and deals a lot with Ruth’s recovery from being dumped into the river in an attempt to kill her. There is a lot of trauma that she goes thru, struggling to just live and the Vampire’s Elithien, Hurrow, Justice, and Rule also struggle with their failure in keeping her from getting hurt. Russell is saved but at what cost to his humanity. The book is full of danger, compassion, love and desperation to keep Ruth safe. I loved this story. It is well written in that all of the characters are well developed and the story plot line has an easy flow to it. This is a great read and I would highly recommend it. This book leads into the last book in this series.
I’ve read several series this year and this is one of the best. In the first book “Vampire’s Kiss” we left off with Ruth’s vampire lovers sensing her in danger but arrive in time to save and revive her from drowning....Ruth asks them to save her bodyguard Russell even if they have to turn him. The road back from her trauma is not going to be easy. Elithien, Hurrow, Justice and Rule will do anything to keep her safe...mind, body and soul. With more threats on the horizon and Russell no longer being human just adds to this Intense, erotic suspense thriller with bdsm light. I became immersed in this story and can’t wait for the next in this lovely series. 10 erotic stars!

Wow!!! This series just keeps getting better and better. We pick up right after the end of the first book and are following Ruth and her vampires again as she struggles to heal and regain herself after her attack. Her bodyguard Russel is also struggling to accept his new nature. We see the strengthening of the relationship Ruth has with her men and in the background we start to see all the little threads that tie them together tightening. The end of the book is a massive cliffhanger that made me want to chuck the book across the room. I swear to god Atlas Rose is the queen of cliffhangers. I am dying to find out what happens next. All I know is all hell is going to break loose and it’s going to be epic!
—>>> For Ruth Costello, dealing with the aftermath of all that has happened, almost dying, and begging her vampire guardians to save her bodyguard Russell, it has been a very slow recovery, but her vampires will do anything to keep her safe and help her recover from the traumatic events. Trying to follow threads to get more answers does not help, and perhaps may even hamper Ruth’s efforts to heal mentally, putting her in danger. One thing she feels strongly still is finding Russell, because she is feeling lost without her bodyguard. She cannot just remain in limbo forever, however. She just needed to believe in her reason to take stock and move forward from all her fear…and become Ruthless once again. Cannot wait to see what happens next!
I'm interested to see where this is going, but there are definitely some inconsistencies that are driving me nuts. If I'm following the timeline right, the attack in the alley happened less than a year ago. But Ruth keeps saying it happened years ago. Ruth is the most inconsistent character I've ever read. One minute she's a totally badass facing down mafia bullies and fighting for her place in the boys club, and the next she's cowering and hiding behind the vampires. She gets attacked all the time and they always have to rush in to save her. I'm not sure I want to finish this series. I'm interested to see what happens with the circle, but I'm annoyed with Ruth.
This series is just killing it!! I would normally give a brief sum up of the book in my review but not this time it would give away way too much of the plot if i did & its just too bloody good to spoil it for ya. Still swoon..............four hot Alpha Vampires - Elithien, Hurrow, Justice and Rule as well as one hot bodyguard - Russell. Ive got dibs one Arran though, lol. Moving on god this book us so fast-paced even with everything Ruth (FMC) goes through in it & Blimey that ending??? Talk about leaving us hanging! Tut, Tut Ill be on tenterhooks until the next book now. Cant wait for that though
Ruth’s vampires saved her, dragging her out of the river and giving her a new chance at life. Ruth then wanted to save her bodyguard, Russell, the man who gave his life for her. But he did not want to be turned into such a monster. So he locks himself away from everyone. Even Ruth can’t get in to see him, at least not until danger comes after her again. One thing is definitely certain; they really care about her and she is not left alone in her struggles.
This was a very emotional story, with trauma to be overcome. Fortunately, Ruth has lots of support to get her through. Grab your copy and follow along to see what comes next for them all!
This is the second book of the "Mafia Monster's" series. It continues from book one, "Vampire's Kiss" and is NOT standalone. Once again, be forewarned, this book ends in a cliffhanger but it's so worth it!!! Things pick up exactly where book one left off and doesn't stop all the way through. There are so many twists and turns that take place while the plot continues to unfold causing a plethora of emotions and tears to fall. Blood is not always thicker than water as Ruth finds out. And the loyalty of friends is put to the test and come away lacking. Then there is the Inner Circle and how they fit into all this. You definitely don't want to miss any of this.
I was a bit disappointed that this did not pick up from the end of book 1, it was similar but also very different. Not bad but not what I was expecting. I was drawn in by the love and patience her 4 guys had, that helped pull her out of her trauma and help rebuild her after that animal Alex destroyed her. The Russell element was a complete ball out of left field. Not the path or the reincarnation we might have expected. Warning, the end is quite the cliff hanger, but I am hoping that book three pulls me in as much as one and two..
The first book was great. This one is even better. After drowning and being revived she's suffering some psychological effects. She doesn't know what happened to Russell and she is having nightmares. She's trying to figure out how to get her life back and her vampires are doing what they can to help her. On top of all that, something is happening on the immortal side of the river and she's trying to start piecing it together. It's a great read, I recommend it, and it also ends with a cliffhanger. I received an ARC from BookSprout and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.
Just when you think things are going to settle down a storm is about to hit. Another brilliant addition to this new series by Atlas Rose. Vampire’s Sin see’s Russel turned into an immortal of the unknown. It sees Ruth start to take back control of her life. There certainly are lots of twists and turns in this story, lots of love to share. It’s an easy read that in certain parts you won’t want to put the book down as you’ll just want to know the answers. Now we sit and wait for the next book to hit.

Vampire's Sin is book two of the Mafia Monsters series and picks up where book one left off. This book takes off from the start and doesn't stop until the last page. I am loving the guys and how protective they are over Ruth. I felt for Russell, after everything that has happened to him he ends up getting turned into something he despises. This is an intense and emotional story with secrets, danger, mystery, suspense, steam, interesting characters and a cliffhanger ending. I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
